This dress was fun and easy to wear. I did have to wear pasties just due to the cut of the arms. I could move and sit and dance! Great dress for a black tie wedding in NYC.

I wore this for an awards show turned virtual due to COVID. The dress was just perfect from the fit, to the length, to the material. Would highly recommend! *note: I forgot the write this review and it’s been two years {whoops} I truly cannot remember if I wore the 6L or the 8R. I feel confident it was the 6L and I wore about 2.5inch heels, but I suggest ordering both sizes to see what’s best for you!*

This was so pretty. It was a bit tight on the busy, though. I'm usually a 4 or 6 in dresses - especially if they're sleeveless, size 4. This was a 6 and my bust was pretty smushed in there. I'm a 34D, for reference. Otherwise, it was beautiful, the material was nice. I got a lot of compliments.

Loved the fit and how flattering it was on my small frame. I'm 5'2" so it was a bit long, but I wore platform 4" sandals and it was perfect length. I would definitely order this dress again for another wedding or formal event-- however, I would size up. It was very snug around the chest area and when I sat down it felt tight around my hips. It wasn't super uncomfortable or noticeably small though... just personal preference. I would most definitely recommend this dress to anyone if you want something simple, and elegant.

Loved the length of this dress, the ruffles, the way it fit my waist. It was a bit snug in the bust. I would imagine that anyone who is larger than a C cup would find the top of this dress too tight and unflattering. This dress was sent to me as a replacement when the 8 & 10 sizes that I ordered in a different dress were too small - but I loved this dress 1000% more than the first one I had chosen anyway. Very happy customer.

Rented this dress for a black tie charity gala. It ran a little small -- usually I'm a size 6 but had to wear the 8. However, the 8 hugged my curves nicely and the way the ruffles on the bottom of the dress moved when walking or dancing was really beautiful. I'm 5'4" and wore 4 and 1/2 inch heels and the dress was just the right length. The slit is tasteful and sat just above the knee for me. You do need a friend to help you with the zipper. Would definitely rent again!

I normally wear a size 2, but based on the reviews, I ordered the 4 and it fit great, except for the length. I am 5' 4" and even with 4 inch heels, it was about 1+ inches too long, but I made it work, since there is no Petite option. Fabric was heavier than I expected, but the front ruffle and slit were stunning. Used a silicone backless bra, since my regular strapless bras weren't as seamless as I wanted under the material. The dress was form fitting up top, a little extra material in the midsection, yet super sleek looking. All in all absolutely loved how this dress looked!

I absolutely LOVED this dress! I wore it to a black tie wedding. It was sexy and flattering, showing off all the right curves and hiding the not-so-right ones. The material is pretty heavy, but with it being sleeveless and the big slit in the skirt, it was not too hot. We struggled to get the zipper up; it got stuck about halfway up/down but we finally got it. Funny story…There actually was another woman at the wedding with the same dress on! How often does that happen?!

I loved this dress! It was beautiful and very flattering. I wore the 8R but the 10R probably would have fit better. I thought it was a little snug but not uncomfortable. The material is very stretchy. It looked a little too puckered in the back. Due to a recent injury, i had wear low heels-- prob 1-1/2". I had to tape up the hem quite a bit-- almost 5 inches. The ruffles made it tricky but I made it work. Being short, the slit was a little too low and i had to lift the dress if I wanted to walk some distance. Overall, I would rent again-- in petite if at all possible.

I wear the 2. I recommend getting the backup size in the next size up. The 2 was slightly tight but I could still move and dance. I wore the dress all day as I was a bridesmaid and it was fine for 10 hours.

This dress was comfortable and perfectly dressy for our black tie optional gala. My two inch heels were sufficiently high. The material was heavy, so nice for a winter event. I received lots of compliments. I’d definitely recommend and rent this dress again!

I wore this dress to a black tie event, and it was FABULOUS! I felt so comfortable and confident in it. I'm usually between an 8 and a 10, and the 10 (backup size) fit perfectly. It hugged my curves in all the right places, and with the ruching I wasn't self conscious about my non-six-pack mid section. I'm 5'4" so I'm usually wary about the length of long dresses. However, it wasn't a problem with this dress. I wore 3" heels and the dress grazed the floor slightly which was perfect. It was short enough in the back so no one could step on it, and with the tasteful slit in the front I didn't trip and it showed just the right amount of leg. I didn't need a bra, which was the icing on the cake. Would definitely rent again!

This dress was super flattering, especially in the shoulders. I thought it might be too simple, but I felt really chic in it. I strongly considered buying it and would definitely rent it again. It was pretty tight at the top and left red marks on my skin around my neck and armpits. I wore 2.5 inch heels for the ceremony and 1 inch sandals for dancing and it was a bit long, but not a problem.

Stunning dress. Very tight around the chest but I'm very large up top. True to size everywhere else. I'm 5'1" so it was a hair too long but it worked with a tall heel. Fabric is heavy but it is really elegant and looked great.

I wore a strapless bra to help give them a little more shape. I received compliments on the dress all night, and the quality was stellar.

I rented this for a December black tie wedding and it worked perfectly. It's simple but that's what makes it so good. It's flattering, comfortable, and has nice small details that make it stand out a little. I had to tape the hem up with double sided tape because I'm very short but it worked out ok. Overall felt very good in this dress. Also easy to dance in!

I am 5’2 118lbs and felt very comfortable in the size 2. It is more of a mermaid feel fit than I was expecting, but the slight slit up the side helps to comfortably walk in heels.

This dress fit like a glove. I wish I could wear it all the time. My engagement photos turned out AMAZING! For reference I'm a 34G cup, 29 in waist, 39 in hips and the size 8 fit great! My top was probably a little "squished" but that's just kind of to be expected in my life unfortunately haha!

This dress was perfect! The ruffle slit on the side added just enough flair! The dress runs a little small in the chest area so if you have a bigger chest you'll need to size up. I'm a size 6 and the 6 felt like it was crushing my chest. I tried multiple dresses and this was the only one that was long enough to wear with heels. I'm 5'10" 36D. Strapless bra not needed and it was easy to dance in! Loved it.

I ordered this dress in my normal size 6 with a size 8 back up, and thank God I did. I couldn't even zip the 6. The 8 fit pretty snug, but was very flattering! I got a bunch of compliments on the dress! The length was fine, but would probably still fit someone a little taller than me. Very comfortable, but I probably would try something different next time!

Based on the reviews I ordered a size up, but think I should’ve done one more size up because it was so tight around my chest area (and I don’t have a big chest). I wore short heels because it hit exactly floor length without shoes. Overall, I highly recommend because it is flattering, simple and elegant.

This dress is gorgeous! There was actually another woman at the wedding wearing the same dress and it looked stunning on her too. I didn't get a full length photo, but I wanted to show the top. I always wear a 4, but on recommendations from others here, I got a 6 as a back up and I'm so glad I did! There is no way anyone with a B cup or bigger will fit into a 4. This is the first time in my life my boobs have been too big for literally anything. The length of the 6 was a little longer than I like (I had to wear 2 inch heels to keep it off the ground), so I'm kinda bummed the 4 didn't fit. Overall, though, this was a great dress. Comfortable and easy to move in. I had to lift it a bit to go up and down stairs, but dancing and sitting were fine.

Loved the style of the dress and the thicker material, and really wish I could have worn it but both the size 2 and 4 didn’t fit. I’m 5’9” and many times can fit into a 2 because of my smaller waist size but this dress ran exceptionally small. The hips also didn’t fit. This dress definitely seems like it is for shorter people (or people with a short torso) because the area that was wider where your hips would go, fell at my waist. I tried getting a photo of it but it’s hard to tell. The bust of the 4 was also very tight on me and I’m very small in the busy (36 A/32).
