I loved this dress and got a ton of compliments! Its very classic and elegant yet a little different and interesting. It runs pretty true to size and is not super form fitting. I am a pretty solid size 6 and wore a Medium. Also worth noting that I was 6 weeks postpartum when I rented this dress so if anything I could have leaned towards a 6/8 at the time! I was super comfortable in it.

While this dress ran a little roomy all over, it was super comfotable and I received many complimnets throughout the night! The fit and where it hit above the knee was very flattering.

I have an hourglass type figure and typically have issues finding something that fits top middle and bottom and this dress nailed it. It was beyond comfortable and I received so many compliments!

While I am typically a Small, the Small in this style was super loose around my arms, waisf, and length was long. The XS fit perfectly. Easy to move around in, and fitted but not too tight. I could eat whatever I wanted without worrying :D If you rent this dress, be sure to pack a pair of scissors because it will have a lot of snags due to it being a rental. I had to cut off a few snags and loose threads before wearing. I'll likely end up purchasing this dress because of how comfortable and easy to wear it was!

This dress definitely runs big...I'm usually a small or medium, and wore this dress in an extra-small. I would've preferred the small for slightly more room in the hips, but it wasn't available when I rented. Even so, I was comfortable and able to dance the whole night, and everyone loved the dress and wanted to know where it was from!

Could have potentially worn the medium but the banded part is the dress was a little too snug so the large gave me the little extra room I needed. Sooo many compliments !!

For reference, I'm 5'2", 130lbs, 34B cup, usually wear a size 2 dress. Ordered the SM and XS, ended up wearing the small because it hugged my frame more. SUPER comfortable. Made me feel sexy and sophisticated, but seriously felt like I was wearing a comfy nightgown. Perfect for a wedding guest. In my world - best kind of dress! Could wear a standard strapless bra with nothing showing. For your backup size, I would definitely size down as I felt it ran large.

Very comfortable and chic. The fabric was very forgiving for dancing and eating, but it was a little thin. I ordered XS and S and chose to wear the S as it wasn’t as tight. 5’3 and 115lbs for reference.

I wore this dress to a wedding, and got so many compliments on it! I have a fuller bust (Size 32FF), so I have a hard time finding dresses that fit me at the top. This dress fit absolutely perfect! It was stretchy and long enough and was flattering on my figure.

I loved this dress!! I love that I got two sizes to try on. I'm usually a medium but I wore lace small. Fits snug but nice. Loved the leaves, was super comfortable, not too hot, and got tons of compliments! Would have bought it if it wasn't designer!

This dress is so pretty & easy to wear! Both the small & medium fit. I went with the small because the band was tighter & gave me more shape. It's so nice to be able to wear a normal bra too. This was a great rental!

This was actually my backup dress. I put on my first choice and it was okay so I figured I'd wear it but then decided to try this one for funsies. I am so glad I did. I put it on and looked in the mirror and knew this was The One. I am 5 ft tall and this hit me slightly above the knee which was perfect. So if you have long legs, this might be a bit short. I weigh about 110-115 lbs and have A cup boobs. This fit perfectly around my chest and stomach. I did wear shape wear with it but it was unnecessary and I probably would have been more comfortable without it. You can wear a racer back bra with this, although I would recommend strapless or pasties or nothing. I wore a nude racer back bra and you can see it peeking out in a couple photos. If I had it to do over again I would have worn my strapless. Some people mentioned that the nude layer underneath peeks out from the black lace. I noticed that if I looked down at myself or was sitting down it appeared that way but in all of the photos it matched up perfectly so I think this might be an optical illusion. Some have also mentioned that the lace has seen better days. This is true, however because the pattern is so intricate you won't even notice unless you are actively looking for flaws. I brought a white pashmina with me in case it was chilly, but I would recommend black (I bought white in preparation for my first choice dress which I ended up not wearing). I also wore nude ankle strap, open toed heels with this to allow the dress to shine. I got several compliments on this dress and more importantly I FELT beautiful and lovely. I highly recommend this dress!

I loved wearing this dress! I am petite and have an hourglass figure, so this dress fit perfectly. I had a little room to spare so it didn't feel tight. I wore this to an evening spring wedding. My original order did not fit at all. RTR was gracious enough to send me this dress and anther backup in time for the event. I'm glad I chose this one. I wish I could have kept it longer.

The medium for nicely, not too form fitting around the tummy, allowing for a little forgiveness in that area. Was great for a semi-formal wedding. I got both the medium and the small, and the small fit, but I liked having a bit more room in the medium. The small was also very short. Only complaint was the lining would show occasionally when I sat down. Also sometimes when I sat, it would pull on my neck in the front and choke me.

I wore this to a cocktail party for my husbands work in Orlando. I ordered an XS and it still fit loosely over my little pregnant belly. It did have some signs of wear, but I knew that before ordering from reading past reviews. I would order this dress again

I rented the medium and large and the large actually seemed to fit better/smaller than the medium. Super flattering and comfortable to wear. Lots of compliments! I wore for a night out in Vegas and it worked great.

I rented this dress and a strapless one for a cocktail charity event. I also loved the strapless style, but seemed a bit too revealing for this type of occasion. Anyway, I was super glad to have worn this style as it was comfortable and very flattering. The dress has just a hint of stretch to it, and also features a full length zipper in back to make it easy to get on. The waist detailing was a wee bit snug but I liked this feature, as it gave me a bit more definition in this area. I'm a curvy gal with wide hips and longer legs for my height, which makes many cocktail dresses too short on me. I found the length of this style appropriate, but still sexy. I'm normally a medium-large in most similar styles but able to wear the medium in this style without an issue. I'd say this cut is true to size.

Length is great! I love the high neckline enabled me to wear a normal bra. I have no curves, but this actually gave me a shape. It fit so snuggly and perfectly, but I could still dance as much as I wanted.

Loved this dress. It was really flattering, easy to wear and fit perfectly. I wore it to a winter wedding in NYC and it was great for dancing-- very easy to move in. My bf said I should just buy it. Made for a really fun night.
