This fit perfectly. A classy and elegant gown. It was a bit short (not to the floor), but still worked.

I really enjoyed wearing this dress! It fit true-to-size, was modest without being matronly, and was comfortable. The fabrics are heavy so the dress is relatively warm, perfect for fall/winter or cooler climates. I got lots of compliments!

The empire cut makes it a winner however that cut can hug tight below your breast and was not really comfortable. Suggest to size up because the empire cut is the tricky part to hit right. I would have preferred the sleeves to be a little bit longer.

I wore this dress to my company's Christmas party and it was perfect. I rented both the size 6 and 8. I ended up wearing the 8. I'm 5'5" and I wished I had rented the long. With the regular, I could only wear 1" heels. The material is great. Overall I loved the dress and the style and fit. It was beautiful and I received many compliments.

I really liked the cuts on this dress. The way the skirt flared just the right amount and the neckline cut a little into the shoulders really made this dress stand out.

The dress was gorgeous and got so many compliments! It flatters curves SO well. I have a short torso so the zipper bunched in the back and was hard to negotiate by myself, but that's the only problem I had. I wore 5in heels and the length was perfect.

Previous reviews were correct - this runs a little on the small side. I am usually a 0, and the 2R was definitely the right size. Only complaints - it was a bit tight in the bust for me and a tad long, but was flush with the floor with 2.5" heels. Aside from those two minor things, the dress was very comfortable and beautiful. I got so many compliments! Would definitely recommend.

This dress is beautiful on. I wore to to a formal work event and was classy and sassy! Dress is a little long for a petite gal, I'm 5'1 but the fit was wonderful and true to size. I'm 131lbs and wore a size 6.

Runs slightly tight on the bust, (I'm an inverted triangle), struggled to zip it up. I'm 130 pounds and usually wear a 4, but luckily the 6 was my back up size. I do agree my bust is really large though, so sometimes dresses just don't fit. However length was amazing for someone who's petite (I'm 5.2 and wore 3 inch heels) Material is beautiful especially the skirt, would definitely recommend this dress!

I didn't love this dress in the pictures but tried it on in store and was blown away. This was a formal event I attended for work and I wanted the dress to be more modest while still showing of my figure. I am 5'10" 128lbs and the 4L was exactly the right length. I got so many compliments on this dress!

This was a just in case style shipped to me when my original dress was unavailable - I loved it even more than the original dress! Sadly I didn't get to wear it because it was a tad shorter than I wanted when I put on the 3 inch heels I had planned to wear with it (I'm 5'7). Barefoot, it fit perfectly and was so elegant and flattering. If I could rent this again, I'd do it without hesitation, but I'd get it in the long size.

This dress fit me perfectly! The material it’s made of is really good quality. I am a size 34C-34D (depends on the bra), 5’2”, 120 lbs. The dress was a tad bit too long for my height however—I had to wear 4” heels and actually pick up the dress when I walked so it wouldn’t drag on the floor. Was still a beautiful dress though—I didn’t mind too much :)

This was a "back up" dress and I am happy I did not get my first choice as this was a very comfortable dress all night. I reccomend heels as without them the dress is quite long. I also am normally a size 4, but the top is tight and I am bustier girl so I went with a 6R and it was a perfect fit! A statement necklace is the perfect accessory. I was very pleased with this dress! It was perfect for the Gala I attended!

This dress was beautiful to wear at a black tie wedding. A few thoughts: material of dress is super thick and well made, it's a bit more forgiving to imperfections. The zipper is pretty tricky and I have a shorter waist so it was pretty tight in the middle for me. If I had more time, I would have tried an 8 to see if it was a better fit. I'm 5'3" and wore 2-3 inch heels. Really fun to dance in and fit perfectly with heels.

Wearing a floor length gown is always fun, but I felt very glamorous in this one. The length was perfect and the fabric was a really nice weight. Felt well made and elegant. Only thing missing was pockets :)

Not my first choice, but it was selected by RTR customer service when the dress I originally ordered was unavailable to ship. This dress was incredibly comfortable and fit like a glove! I was initially worried that it wasn't formal enough for the gala I was attending, but the detailing on the sleeves and the subtle, metallic sheen on the red/flower portions on the skirt really dress it up (especially with the right statement necklace/accessories!). Definitely glad that I was sent the 12L, which turned out to be the perfect length (5'7", plus 3" heels). Zipper needs a little TLC... make sure that you have someone there to help you get ready!

This is a beautiful deep red dress. It is VERY LONG! I had to baste in a 3 inch hem to wear it with 3 inch heels. (And I was following a crease from a prior renter, so I am not the only person who had to do that!). But, with the shortened length, the dress was perfect. Very comfortable and not just "another black dress" at the gala! I fit both the 2 and the 4. Wore the 4 because it gave me a little extra room at the shoulders. Otherwise, there wasn't much difference in size between them and the length was about the same on both.

Fit of 12R was good. The only issue was it was tight around the bust. I'm a 38DD. I was still able to zip it (with some help), and I don't think I would order a size up next time regardless, because the next size would be too big elsewhere. I am 5 feet 7.5 inches tall and I wore 2.5-inch heels, and my toes just showed when I walked.

I adore this dress!! Do not judge a book by its cover- this dress is so much better in person then it is on the hanger. The higher rise of the "skirt" made this 5 foot girl feel tall, and I was comfortable dancing the night away with the short sleeves. Note that the top is a bit snug across the chest- I did not wear a bra. I will be keeping my eye on this one to buy it when it goes on sale! Rent this one!! Compliments all night long!

I am 5"1/5'2, about 118 pounds, and a narrow build. I wore this dress for a wedding, and it was a last minute, desperate find but worked out wonderfully in the end. I think it was a small 2, because it was skin-tight and i could hardly breathe but everyone said it looked like it was made for me (though I would have gone a size up probably if I knew how it fit). I wore 4 inch heels and I hemmed it 2 inches and it was floor length. It looks quite plain on the website but I added the Marchesa eternal garden necklace which just completed the dress so well and turned it into an awesome piece. It was light material and really comfortable to dance in. Overall, it was a fantastic find and I'm so happy I got it!

Worn for a black tie event and received compliments all night. Didn't love this on the hanger but it's stunning once you put it on. I'm usually a 0 or 2 but only the 2 was available and it fit perfectly. Great for dancing all night!

This gown is beautiful and was perfect for a formal fall/winter wedding. The skirt material is thicker and kept my legs covered and sufficiently warm. I'm 5'7", 32E, curvy frame, and normally wear a size 4 or 6. If you are between sizes, size up! The 6R fit perfectly; it was not too snug around my waist or chest (always a concern), and the skirt hung nicely off of my frame. The recommended size chart said that I should order the Long due to my height, but I only wore 2" heels, and the Regular nearly skimmed the floor. I received several compliments on this dress, and I felt beautiful wearing it. Highly recommended!

This was my first RTR experience and I am so happy that this was my dress! I paired it with a Kate spade necklace also from RTR. I wore this dress to a very formal function. It was lovely. It fits like a mermaid gown in that it will accentuate your hips, however it was not too tight. I could easily sit down and walk in this dress. I'm 5'4" with 4 inch heels and it was still a bit long. The cap sleeves did not alter arm movement as sometimes they can. I felt so amazing in this dress I was so sad when I had to send it back.

This dress was very elegant. It was nothing flashy and it did not stand out, but it certainly has an air of subdued elegance. Perfect for a wedding, actually! It runs true to size, albeit a tiny bit on the smaller side. I think this dress is more of a "Mother of the Bride," dress, so I would recommend it for the mother of the bride or someone looking for a more conservative, but elegant, look.

So pretty and slimming on! Got so many compliments! No give on the hips! Mermaid style! I would have sizes up to see how it fit but they didn’t have a larger size.

Felt like a million bucks! I would recommend wearing a size or two large in this dress for two reasons. 1. The fit is snug and choosing a size that is more loose still gives the desired silhouette without sacrificing comfort. 2. The truth is that the dress is slightly used and the if it is to tight it could damage the zipper.
