This was a fabulous dress, so much more than an LBD! It's a little difficult to wear because the shoulders were really wide on me. I had to pin my bra straps to the cap sleeves otherwise they showed. It's also a little difficult to get in and out of because of the side zip. But once I had it on I felt really great for a late fall wedding. I wore it with black tights, black suede booties, my Kate Spade quilted leather handbag, and the Slate & Willow Pale Pink Floret earrings (also from RTR). I received compliments all night on the dress, even one from the bride!

Fit great! Only disappointment was the skirt was a little too bell-shaped and less full skirted and A-line. Also, as other reviewers describe, it's not as short as the model pic. I did love the top with the sequins!

I wish it was shorter on me like the model in the picture but all and all, a nice comfortable dress to wear out.

Great dress, although the top is a little tight. I wish I could've worn the size 38 but it was too small on my chest. The bigger size looked fine, though. Also, it's black but sort of a lighter black so it looked fine with black tights--perfect for cold weather.

This dress is a super easy fit and a perfect match for a holiday party or other event where you want to look cute and stylish. True to size, good for different body types!

I wore this to the theatre at Christmastime. The textures are fun and funky. I love the velvet. It was appropriate for a family event and still fun. Runs true to size and is appropriate length.

I threw this one on for a Rent the Runway showroom party and turns out, I cannot think of a better dress to rent for a holiday party! I found that the dress ran true to size and was an easy fit. You need to find the right bra because I had a black t-back and it was showing a little. I can imagine the straps on any bra would show so I recommend a strapless!

I loved this dress. The details are absolutely beautiful. The only con was that the slip underneath was extremely tight. I had to really put some work into shimmying it down past my derriere. After that however, it stayed comfortable. I wore it to the Nutcracker and felt like a star all night!

Longer than it appears on the model. Got tons of compliments, everyone loved it! It's great for when you need to wear an LBD but want to make it more interesting :)

I liked the dress, however I did not love it or the way it fit. It was a little bit big and not super flattering on my body (I usually wear a 00) . I would recommend but not for petite women.

I got this dress because the original dress I ordered was unavailable in my second size. While this dress was too big it was very cute and I would probably rent it in the right size again in the future.

I rented this as a back up dress and didn't end up needing it. It was very cute, but a little bit tight in the chest and shoulders. Otherwise, it fit great at the waist and everywhere else. Recommend sizing up if you have a full bust.

This dress is very pretty and I got several compliments from people throughout the night. My lower star rating is due to the fit. I'm usually a 2 or a 4 but usually a 2. The 38 on this dress would have zipped and fit perfect except the skirt lining was SO TIGHT for no reason (as you can see the skirt itself is A-line). Like if I would have worn the 38 I would have had to keep the lining bunched up at my waist. So I wore the 40 which was a bit looser in the waist and bust but the lining fit over my hips (which are not that big, really!). But other than fit it was cute.

I believe this is true to size if you have a very straight body type. The 4 fit fine in the waist but the chest was waaaaay too tight. The 6 fit in the chest but the waist was waaaaay to loose. It was also much longer than pictured but then again, I'm on the petite side. I would say if you have a model's body and are looking for a "cute" dress, give it a try. Otherwise, not worth the money.

Didn't get to wear it because it was way too tight in the chest. It zipped up just fine but made the chest look awkward and was not flattering. I think it's meant for someone with a smaller chest and would probably look lovely if it fit!

This dress is a weird fit, in that even with the zipepr opened, it's hard to get it on. Once I did, the top was big (it's a soop neck with boat shoulders) but the waist fit perfectly- I have a 27 inch waist. So, the 2 would have been a perfect fit on top, but likely a little tight in the waist. I felt the dress made me look all around bigger than I am. It's cute, but forgettable.
