I’m 5’3” and I often find that interesting sleeves swallow me up and the shirt wears me. Not the case here! I love the interest that the sleeves add and it’s so, so flattering. I usually wear a pant size 10-12 and this fits true to size. Bonus: It’s comfortable!

Plays like a basic but a little more special

I normally wear size small/4 and the size 4 was perfect. Loose fitting but not too big. The front can be a little open since the buttons do not go all the way down but I wore with high waist jeans and it was fine

Buttons DO NOT open, and the neck is tight, so strange. Yet the shirt is very loose and tons of fabric. Seems like design flaw. Looked matronly in person. Could not wear. Did not wear. Didn't want to wear!

Absolutely loved the sleeve. Wore with cropped pants and ankle boots. Definitely makes a statement.

Excellent top - comfortable and as shown. Fit true to size. The buttons in the front created a little too much gaping areas, but a black silk camisole worked beautifully.

This top is very high quality and makes a black staple piece a statement. Will be renting again or buying for sure!

I liked the concept of the shirt and it looked pretty good on. I ordered a smaller size when the size I needed wasn't available and I suspect if I'd worn a size or two bigger it wouldn't have bunched up on my shoulders. I was surprised how open the front of the shirt was. Definitely needed something underneath. The buttons are quite tough- the top button on the one I received required extensive help from my husband to get buttoned.

Interesting top - sheer on shoulders and goes into a very heavy and expensive looking fabric. Loved the pleats and the overall style, but for a short busty gal, it gave me too much fabric in the middle area. Got many complements but the style was just too boxy.

Everyone had something to say about this shirt, so be prepared for comments as the pleating is plentiful. I loved it, however, although it ran a bit big on me (and note, you'll want a strapless bra because of the mesh shoulders). Heavyweight fabric made it feel really lux, great tucked into jeans or with a sleek black skirt.

Fits ok, but not flattering. It is very heavy fabric, held in place by the mesh across the shoulders, and it just looks a bit frumpy.

I didn't care for the style once I saw it in person. Good quality though.

The arm wholes were surprisingly small so I did not end up wearing this blouse. Otherwise, the top had beautiful layers and a nice shape.

I wear a size 6 and could've easily worn a 2 in this shirt. Wear it with white pants instead of black!

Pretty shirt but definitely runs large and not the most flattering. I rented but didn't end up wearing because it wasn't the best fit.

Fit great, but a little tight in the arms for me.

The pleating looks odd when you first loon at the shirt but it lays nicely when on. It's a good length for leggings or tight pants if you want to it to hit below hips/longer in the back. The arms are quite tight but hidden by the folds at the shoulders. Just uncomfortable. I didn't end up wearing it.

Buttons seemed to be non-functioning, which was fine as it was not hard to slip on the blouse. Based on the photo I thought this was work-appropriate. The shoulders are very sheer and sleeves have a lot of fabric. Not really the thing to wear to work.

I think this top may be better for a formal event then work- more fancy then professional. Just not really my style.

I thought I would be the exception to some of these other reviews but I was wrong. The design of this shirt is just odd. At first I thought I would make it a work blouse, but you can see through all the button connections meaning I'd need a tank underneath. The fit was large except the arms holes were quite small making the shirt loose but restricting? I thought maybe I'd turn it into a going out/dinner blouse but the fabric is heavy and wasn't well suited for a quick front tuck into jeans. Overall it's such a pretty blouse but the design of the blouse just doesn't work for me.

Not a very flattering top. I never ended up wearing to work. Quality material but didn't do anything for me.

Arms and shoulders were too tight, not fitted like most size 8 shirts. Not sure if it's just the arm holes or the shoulders overall. Will return without wearing. Not sure if ordering up would solve, probably good for girls with very small arms and a bigger chest.

I had to wear a tank under this. Cute blouse but didn't WOW me.

The shirt was pretty but it was too big and the sleeves are long-they went beyond my finger tips. I really think it needs to have a tank underneath. I say it wasn't flattering because of the way it hung on my body. Not sure if a right sized top would solve that.

Too weird looking to wear to work. Maybe this is good for very tall women, I'm only 5'3" and it was just ... it wasn't good!

Technically fit, but so much fabric in the sleeves and then barely any in the torso - needs a tank top under and 50% less sleeve.

This was really hard to even get on... obviously have to wear a strapless bra because the entire shoulders are sheer. That's fine but the front barely has any buttons, so the bottom half is completely open, showing my entire stomach. Couldn't just wear a layer under it because of the sheer situation in the shoulders.

Very awkward fit. Very long in the back, and short in the front. Did not look right at all.
