It is a tight fit dress but is a thick enough material so I did not need to wear any Spanx with it. It fits very true to size which was a good thing as I only ordered the size I typically wear. The only bad part of the fit was the armpit area, it was a little tight. And the silver does not show up as bright as it does in the models picture. Otherwise the dress was fabulous and I would wear it again!

First of all, I have to commend the RTR customer service. I had ordered a different dress and when RTR received it, they decided that the quality was not good enough and sent the dress back to the designer. They made it up to me by allowing me to rent any available dress on the site, regardless of price. Bravo, RTR :) The dress was high quality with a different look to it. It's definitely made for the winter season. I felt that the silver was very clear in person. I think it shows in the picture but mine was even brighter in person (it wasn't a great camera). RTR also comped me a few accessories, shown in the photos (the earrings are Anton Huenis Intricate Crystal and the lefthand bracelet is Gemma Redux Liz bracelet, both currently unavailable. I paired the dress with black tights and black patent heels and felt great all night.

I absolutely loved wearing this dress!! It was so expensive, felt and looked expensive and everyone complimented me. I would rent this designer again in a heartbeat. It was true to size. I'm busty, and it held me in nicely. I did not feel overdressed or out of place at my fiance's work party.

I wore this in NYC with some friends. I loved the way it fit. The color is much darker in person than it looks in the photo. It was comfortable and easy to wear.

Loved the dress overall except the gold in the dress is NOT as dramatic as in the picture. It looked more like an all black dress!

As other reviews stated, this dress is all black with silver threads. I found the fabric to give a little throughout the night, next time would wear the 2 . Stretches to fit nicely at the bust. Wore regular bra and black tights, no spanx needed with this one. Very appropriate for formal wedding.

The material is nice... kind of like a knit so there is some room to give in the stomach area. This dress was a little tight for me right around the arm pit area, but the 2 was the only size I rented for this dress so I don't have another size to compare it too (I have a pretty muscular upper body so that could have contributed to the tightness as well) As you can see, the metallic part photographs a bit darker than it looks on the model. But a nice dress for a wedding, holiday party, or winter event!

Just a few hours before my dress was supposed to ship, I got a call that it was unavailable. Hannah from RTR stayed on the phone with me and helped me pick this dress. I am so glad I got this one instead. It was gorgeous and fit like it was made for me! Military events are very hard to dress for, but thanks to RTR I did it perfectly!

This dress is meant to be very tight so keep that in mind. I could have easily worn the 2 but the 0 was much more fitted and showed off my curves better. I am 5'4" 117lbs. The dress is super tight but hit maybe 3 or 4 inches above the knee so it was acceptable to wear to a wedding. As other reviewers mentioned, the metallic stuff is much more muted and dark than in the picture but I still liked it. I would recommend this dress for your special occasion.

First, this dress is very thick, so I'd only recommend it for the fall/winter. It kind of felt like a thick sweater. Second, the dress in person looks nothing like the model's picture. It is essentially a black dress with glitter in the fabric--no part of it is silver whatsoever. Maybe if you take pictures with a super bright flash that flashes off the glitter it'd look lighter or if you enhance the photo in iPhoto. The pictures I took were in completely normal lighting.

This dress made me feel very sexy! It is very form fitting but overall was relatively comfortable. It was slightly tight in the chest if you are a size D or more. I ended up not wearing a bra which was not an issue due to the tightness and the thick material.

The dress came in a great sturdy box and has the phone number on the shipping label which was very helpful since the mailman delivered my dress to my neighbors house by mistake. The comments were very accurate the dress was in good condition fit snug but not too tight that I couldn't dance or walk around. Felt great and looked great. Really happy with RTR.

I was able to fit into the 0 (because I have hips like a teenager) but it was a little tight around the bust. I ended up wearing the 2 and it fit perfectly with a non-padded bra. It was a very comfortable dress and I loved that I could wear a normal bra and panties and didn't worry about a wardrobe malfunction. The dress hit right above the knee, but with heels it was fine. The silver of the dress is darker, almost a black, but I really liked the subtlety and thought it was classier in person. I wore the Elizabeth Cole Jet Ombre Bacall Earrings and they were the perfect accessory. Loved my first RTR experience!

This dress really doesn't look like the picture but it is beautiful. I'm glad I read the reviews and looked through the pictures because the dress doesn't really have that much of a contrast from the black and silver - it is very subtle. But fortunately I was looking for something that had a great texture and that I felt very comfortable in - and this was perfect. I was hosting a professional party for work and this was a hit. The 2 fit perfectly except it was a little tight across my chest under my arms but everywhere else it fit like a glove.

This dress fit perfect. It is super comfortable but it does bunch a little making it look a little wrinkly but other than that I would def wear this for a work part or out for a date night.

I'm not a size 0 by any means, I've recently lost a bit of weight and I've been hesitant to rent any dress throught RTR, but after that amazing experience and how great I felt in this gorgeous dress, I will certainly rent again!

Beautiful dress with great stretch! Molds to the body! I am short waisted so was looking for something that I wouldnt have long strap issues with. Definiltey reccommend.

This is a great dress - unique and comfortable. I usually wear a 4 in dresses, but I had to bump up to a 6 on this one. I think the 4 fit better in the body - but the top was way too tight. The arm holes were too small on the 4 and cut into my skin - and I'm only a 34B. The 6 was a little big in the booty area - but way more comfortable. Overall, a great dress.

Not only does this dress have stretch but it works well for a full bust (DD cup). It looked amazing with the Erickson Beamon Heart of Glass Earrings!

This dress is very flattering and fitted. I wasn't happy that it wasn't silver. It looks more of metallic silver in the model picture, but it is more of a muted gray under the lace overlay. It was really fun to dance in and I had a blast. I wouldn't rent this again only because I love variety, but I would recommend for a WINTER occasion (wedding or work function).

I am a 32DD, but it doesn't have that selection in the stats. The top felt tight, but overall it was a good fit.

Loved this dress, so pretty and comfortable. The silver lace is definitely darker than it looks on the website (like mentioned in other reviews), but I actually liked that better. If they had one available, I might have gone up a size - the top near the armpits was tight on me, but other than that the fit was great.

I wore this dress for a charity event. The dress is a great comfortable fabric, loved the design and detail. As others mentioned ,the contrast "silver" color in the picture is not at all as drastic as the picture makes it look. This is truly a black dress.

As you can see from a few of the other user's photos, this dress looks very different than the one modeled. It's obviously the light/flash of a camera that makes the center pieces look like shiny silver, but in reality this black stretchy dress's inserts are nothing more than black lace with bits of gold threads within. You'd have to constantly be underneath a flood spotlight to have the lace light up and look like it does in RTR's photo. This is a black on black dress.

This fits like a glove, but the material is fairly thick so it's pretty forgiving (unlike most dresses that fit that well):). The lace material is actually a lot darker than suggested in the picture - I would have liked for there to be more contrast between the two fabrics.

Unfortunately it was a bit too snug and I ended up returning for credit. I would have orderd a size up, but it wasn't available above an 8. If you're curvy in the hips and behind this is a great shape. The material is thick and has a little give, very form-fitting and sexy. The metallic brocade fabric is very chic.
