I definitely had the most fabulous dress at my graduation ceremony! It was very classy, a good length (not too revealing, not too prudish), and people said I looked like Kate Middleton (who doesn't want to be compared to that woman?!?!) Overall, great dress!

This dress looks so expensive in person. I love the fabric and the work quality. I feel like a million bucks wearing it.

Wore this to my best friends baby shower! I got tons of compliments at the shower and the restaurant before the party. The silk is amazing, and the graphics are beautiful! In LOVE with this dress!

I wore this dress to a February destination wedding in Mexico. It is so elegant and unique that it was a real stand out. I typically wear a 10, but there is no stretch in the material so I had to wear the 12 due to the chest being too small. I ended up getting this dress when my original choice was returned to RTR damaged. I cannot say enough how impressive the customer service is at RTR. A stylist called me immediately and provided me with all the information I needed to get something else arranged asap. Can't thank them enough!

Material was a little worn.

The dress is among the most stunning, high quality garments I have ever had the privilege of holding in my own hands and wearing. My husband is a man who appreciates fashion (thanks to his wife!) and commented that "this is one of the most beautiful dresses you've ever worn." He's seen a lot of my RTR and personal choices, so this was high praise! Details: the bodice is a bit snug, so no enhancing or padded undergarments! The skirt is more voluminous than you initially recognize, so it lays out beautifully as you sit down. Extremely comfortable and flattering - hard not to feel like a million bucks in this one! I appreciate dresses that show a modest cut - no cleavage and knee length - can still be incredibly sexy and flattering. Not that I'm opposed to showing either cleavage or legs, but most of the time I prefer dresses that allow you to wear a regular bra so you can forget about it and focus on the event/company/other fun stuff. Strapless bras uncomfortable, and it's hard to be sexy when you're tugging at your dress all night, so it's nice to see great options for all tastes and preferences. Final note: I rented the 2 because a 0 was not available, though I'm guessing 2 might be the smallest size since I'm typically a 0 and this fit quite well and was the one I wore to my 7th anniversary dinner. I got the 4 as a backup and tried it on just to see and it was, if anything, event more snug than the 2! When I held the two dresses next to one another they were identical. There were no size tags on either dress, just a handwritten number, so perhaps a mislabeling occurred here.

I wore this dress for the OurRunway launch party. The fabric is gorgeous and stands out while still being elegant and classy. It is really flattering - plenty of room in the tummy and hips - a little bit tight in the bust but its lined etc so even if you are large busted it won't look vulgar and can wear a regular bra with it. I think this style would flatter a multitude of shapes and sizes. The body of the fabric is such that you don't need to wear spanx underneath, so it's comfortable. Of note, my friend who rented the purple Prabal dress in the photo also loved the fabric and fit of hers as well. Would definitely rent again!

I LOVE this dress - it's so chic and the print is both beautiful and cool. The color is very flattering, even if you're a bit paler. I tried this dress on in the RTR showroom this summer, and can't wait to rent it for my next event!

I tried this on in the RTR Showroom and can't wait to rent it for a wedding. The ladylike shape gets a little edge from the modern print & I fell in love. The fabric is amazing- will hold shape and won't wrinkle.

RTR sent me this dress and another after the one I originally picked was not available. It ran a bit small or I had put on some winter weight, because the 10 was just right. the pattern was very pretty and the material quality. the a-line was very flattering cut for me.

i really, really, really wanted to wear this dress, but it was just not meant to be (on my body). pros: the 8 was quite comfy in the waist and hips—it just skims over your lower body in a beautiful hourglass drape. from the waist down, it wasn't restrictive or tight or uncomfortable in the slightest. the print is super elegant and reminiscent of some of alexander mcqueen's designs, and the silk/wool fabric is luminous, has a nice weight, and could work in any type of season. the A-line shape is very flattering. cons: the top only zips up if one has a smaller than average ribcage or bustline. it was ridiculously challenging to zip it up (i'm 36C / usually size 8) and it was a losing battle. when i got the 10 (it came after being in the RTR shop for repairs) i thought that the larger size would at least fit. nope—even that was just as tight as the 8 on the top. i just couldn't move the zipper higher than my bra strap :( i'm not sure if the slim-fitting torso is indicative of prabal gurung's fit in general, or just particular to this dress silhouette, but i think this style and i are not meant to be. (still love you, prabal!)

I wore this dress to a formal dinner party. It was very comfortable throughout the entire evening. The fabric has no stretch, but it fit very smoothly on my body. I wore my usual size 6. I would definately rent this dress again.

A STUNNING dress. Received so many compliments on it. The fabric felt so luxurious and the fit was so flattering. I wish I could afford it as I would definitely go out and purchase it! Crossing fingers that this beauty ends up at the annual RTR sample sale!

Fit great and looked gorgeous!

This is a lovely, forgiving style that would work well for numerous occasions. Not sexy, but beautiful and artistic. I wore this to a gala and felt very cool. It stood out from all of the black and sequins. Very forgiving to hips, but slightly short-waisted. I am typically a 4-6, but it is a good thing that I ordered a 6. 4 would have been too tight in the arm holes and too short in the torso. BTW, I am already a little short waisted, so it is unusual for a dress to fit me that way.

This was a FABULOUS dress! I typically would not have chosen it, but this was my first Prabal rental, and I am hooked! It runs a little small in the midsection, but is great for pear shapes! The material and the colors are fabulous!

This dress is absolutely gorgeous. I wore it to a friend's wedding and received many compliments. The fabric is beautiful in person - it's a very heavy silk-type fabric. The colors are beautiful and the dress is even more gorgeous in person than on the website. Fit is true to size - I wore a 4 because it was a bit more comfortable (and I planned on eating at the wedding), but could have done the size 2. My only complaint (and this is a first with any RTR dress I have rented) is that the dress looked slightly worn at the seams. It looked like perhaps someone larger than a size 4 had worn it and stretched the seams around the ribcage, so there was actually some damage to the fabric - the silk at the seams was slightly fraying. It was a very small area and only noticeable to other people when I pointed it out. The size 2 also had this issue. Despite the slight damage, the dress was amazing and I would definitely rent it again.

This dress fits to form on top and covers the bottom half with a full skirt. You could even add a crinoline or hoop slip to up the volume. I just wore the dress as is, and I received many compliments. The skirt does run a bit larger than the top. I may have been able to go smaller in the skirt, but I think the top would run too tight in a smaller size. Not a big problem though- overall a success!

I wore this for my birthday which a couple of my friends and I celebrated in a vineyard. The dress was a perfect fit and looked really luxurious. Except for the fact that I think the one I wore had its seams almost ripping out. It wasn't too obvious because it was tiny but it was starting to unravel. It went up to my knee, compared to the model's which hits above hers. I loved wearing it though!

Most people described this as true to size; in the torso and hips, it was. I normally wear a size 8 in most brands, sometimes a size ten, but in this dress, both were too tight in the chest. I've got an E/F cup bosom and a true hourglass shape. I had hoped this would be more accomodating of that, and a Size 12 might have been fine, but the size 8 and 10 were just too tight in the chest.

I wore this to the Met Summer Fridays, and then a bday party. Its very daytime appropriate, but still fun enough for night. I'd say the dress is true to size, but given the cut, forgiving, and I'd order down for your 2nd size. The skirt has great movement, and the farbric has a subtle sheen.

It was very snug on top, so unfortunately I couldn't wear it.

No moment to share as the dress was too small and looked absolutely wrinkled and worn. In addition, RTR could not ship anything to replace the dress on time for my event the next day. I would say not worth the hassle and now I am stuck with a credit to something I do not want to try. C'est la vie, but I will not be using this service after this.

This dress looks so beautiful in the picture, but was lackluster in person. The fit was not right for me and was much too tight in the bust and had a weird bubble in the hips. I did not end up wearing it.

The first dress I rented (Kate Spade Nantucket) was unwearable. I tried to call RTR but they never answer the phone. I canceled this dress but they sent it anyway. Since it was a Friday and I would have to pay for it anyway (again, customer service unreachable) I wore it. Not worth $250. Worn out dress, wrinkled. OK Not great. Kathy Lamping
