I am beyond happy with this rental. True to reviews I am wearing one size up. Material is so luxurious. No give means need more room for the hips. I rented this along with the great statement necklace and cocktail ring in photo. Will feel so beautiful on my day. All of it for the cost of going pro. The best service ever.

You will feel so pretty in this little confection! It's girly, sophisticated, and well tailored--it really creates a perfect hourglass in pictures. The material is more exquisite in person--I felt like I was wearing a piece of art!

I wore this dress for Easter Sunday, and it was absolutely perfect. The fit was really true to size, and it worked well though I'm fuller in my hips and tend to stay away from sheaths. There was no stretch to the fabric, but it fit perfectly! I'm only 5'4, but it wasn't past my knees, so the length was great, as well!

This is such a gorgeous, intricate dress. I wore it for a date party and had the best time! I would recommend it for taller girls because I am very tall and I found it to be the perfect length, which was amazing because dresses are often more like shirts on me. I'm definitely going to use Rent the Runway again for formal! Overall a great experience.

I absolutely loved the stunning colors of this dress! The fit, however, was not tailored for an hourglass like me. It's designed more for a straight-and-narrow frame. Full disclosure: I'm a 38-30-40 size 8. The waist was baggy and bunched up in the back, but the hips and shoulders/arms were so tight that the skirt end twisted around my hips as I walked so that the exposed black zipper in the back went diagonal over one cheek: embarrassing! And the arms/shoulders were so tight that I could barely raise my arms above chest level to clasp my necklace, or even hug someone. The hem hit perfectly mid-thigh (I'm 5'5"), not too modest or too showy. The thickness of the material was perfect for the crisp air of spring/autumn. Overall, it's a fantastic look to stand and pose in! But not so practical for dancing at a party or catching the bouquet at a wedding!

This dress was lovely. A little lighter weight than I was expecting - the arms are totally sheer. It didn't have any give at all, so was a little tough to wear while sitting down for extended periods of time (opening presents), or for bending down to reach and pick up things. The colors were bright and beautiful. The mid section of this dress was a little loose - If I owned it, I would've gotten it taken in, but the hip and bust fit totally true to size.

Too tight around the middle and no give. I wore it once because it was ok...but I would never rent again.

I would've loved to wear this dress, but it ran a little small. My back up size (a size up) was returned in poor condition, but I know that it would've fit great. I usually wear a six, but often order the eight as well. The six fit but was very tight in the hips - this dress is definitely not cut for a woman with hips! The fabric, color and shape of this dress were very classy and definitely looked expensive. I may try to rent the other size for another event in the future!

I rented this as a back up to another dress and didn't end up wearing it, however, it was lovely and the size 6 was true to size. The fabric is lighter weight so it's not really a winter dress. Certainly perfect for warmer climates anytime of year.

This dress is beautiful! The fit is true to size Unfortunately I was unable to wear it due to a zipper problem. Not a bad thing but the fabric is thinner than I expected. For me the picture makes the fabric look thick but it is not. Due to the zipper problem RTR sent me the Sweetheart Cross Back Dress that I wore instead and it was wonderful also. Great customer service!

The material for this dress is absolutely stunning. You will receive a lot of compliments. The dress was very loose in the waist area. I would order your regular size and go down a size for the "back up" size. Also, be aware that the material can be "itchy" and it is very heavy. I would recommend it for a cool evening. There was an issue with the zipper for my dress, so I had to change into something else in the middle of wearing it! However, RTR staff was very helpful in resolving the issue.

This was my backup that I did not wear. If you are between sizes go for the larger. Stiff material throughout body and sleeves.

It was flattering and comfortable. Looks different in person. My husband thought it looked "frumpy." Got lots of compliments from other people though.

This is a solid all-around dress. The one downside is that the fabric isn't as sturdy as it appears, and my pooch was clearly visible, which isn't what you'd expect for such a modest, non-clingy dress. You'll definitely need the appropriate undergarments for it. Overall, I'll say that I wasn't wowed by the dress, but it would be appropriate for a relatively staid affair.

The dress runs true to size. I am size 10 and it was big on me. The dress must have been gorgeous when it was new, but now you can see the signs of "love". The color is not as bright, the fabric looks worn down. If RTRr offers a new version of the same dress, I would rent it again in a heart bit. for a full disclosure: I did not wear the dress, but tryied it on.

This was my back up dress for a wedding in Colorado - and unfortunately the wedding was during the "1000 year rains/flood" we had here. I chose my original dress because it seemed for some reason to fit the weather/mood better, and I needed to wear boots. However, this dress was quite pretty - the fabric was light weight, and I agree with another reviewer that the fabric appeared a tad more matronly choice (on the hanger), but once I put it on was very pretty.

This was my backup for a late afternoon wedding and was relieved it wasn't my first choice. The fabric was thin in the arms and torso and heavier in the skirt. The brocade (?) felt like an inexpensive bedspread or drapes. Don't rent this without looking at photos of the back. It has a heavy, exposed black zipper that doesn't necessarily run straight or zip smoothly. The 4 fit, but was tight under the arms. I could have worn it if I had to, but am glad I didn't.

I really liked the dress overall, It was a cool material that was very form fitting and flattering, ultimately I was not able to wear it as the knee length dress was fitting very awkwardly on my petite 5'0" frame.

I rented this dress for an event but didn't end up wearing it. It's a heavy material therefore it was too hot for the summer. The dress was classy. It runs small in the waist. So if it you're tiny in the waist you're set!

This was my back-up dress for a convention event, so I was looking for something conservative, but fun. The dress is absolutely gorgeous - the colors are vibrant and the material is expensive. However, I could not wear it because the fit was not right for my petite frame. The torso is very long on the dress and since I am so short, the fabric bunched up in the middle.

Dress runs small. Fits awkwardly around shoulders and bust area. Hips were also not fitted proper. I can usually wear size 4-6 off the rack just fine! So I was very dissatisfied. Also I was not able to return it quick enough for a refund or swap!

Dress was super cute but the sleeves were too tight on me and I couldn't wear it.
