Such a gorgeous fit. A built-in bustier inside provides lift even to a DD chest (or you can wear a strapless bra). So flattering and expensive looking

What surprised me about this dress was the material. From the photo, I assumed the dress to be more of a slinky material. However, upon seeing the dress, it was more of a felt-like material, which made it less appropriate for a formal event.

This was my first time ordered from RTR, and I am in love! Not so much with this dress, though. I switched my primary dress to this one at the absolute last minute when I started worrying that my primary dress was going to be way too short. I normally wear a size 6 in dresses that are fitted through the hips (my waist is 28 and I have proportionately wider hips), so I ordered a 6 and an 8 - the 6 fit fine, but for the price I was expecting so much more. Everything about the dress was just fine - the length was fine, the fit was fine, the corset didn't do anything (ok I have small boobs!), the material felt like cheap wool, and the "fringe" on the bottom was like metal mesh. There is nothing wrong with the dress or the fit, but for the price and my black-tie event, it was so not worth it. Good thing my original back up dress is a total stunner!!
