Fit true to size, I am usually a 6-8 and wore the 44. It wasn't skin tight, which I prefer. Classy and modest for a lovely wedding.

I adored the sleeves and it hit right at the knees, such a classy fit. The dress is beautiful grey and black tones, and the floral motif is perfect. There is not a ton of room at the hips, I'm fairly narrow and would have needed to go up a size if my hips weren't so narrow. The best part of this dress is its a shift dress but at a nice pin tuck right at the waist, so it has a great silouette, unlike most 'shift style' dresses.

This dress does not stretch, at all. It was a little tight on the hips, but overall it as great. Very flattering. It is definitely for an hour glass body type. If you're more pear, then you won't fill out the top. I just had a baby 3 1/2 months ago so I wasn't sure how this was going to fit, but the size 2 (40) was perfect for my new hour glass shape.

I wore the equivalent of a size 4, but I'm usually a 6. The material is gorgeous and obviously designer, but the material does not stretch at all.

I'm always a size 2 and this fit just right. The zipper in the back goes far enough down, so the dress can be stepped into. The material is 100% silk, so it was comfortable and lightweight. I was able to move freely without the dress being too tight. The graphic design made it stand out among the many other solid outfits. It's both feminine and somewhat conservative while remaining stylish. I rented the Halston Heritage Jet Decoupage Minaudiere and together it was perfection. PS like the other reviews, the dress is more of a silvery grey to charcoal rather than the contrast of white and black depicted on the model.

Rented to wear while conducting a concert beau cause I wanted a little something different to wear instead of concert black. It is a beautiful quality fabric and the graphic is stunning- more grey. And almost lavender than the black and white it appears in photos. Flattering cut for ladies with a small waist and hips. Received MANY compliments on the uniqueness of the print. My only complaint was that the cut of the sleeves did not allow much "give " so I felt a bit restricted while conducting.

Nice conservative dress with a little extra; I normally wear a 4 and thought the 44 was a little on the larger size but it still looked good. I did not have any of the issues that other reviewers have with some tightness in certain areas. Fair warning that it was much longer than is shown on the model- I am 5'6" and this was below my knees. I wore it to a Bat Mitzvah and it worked well- i wanted a dress that had sleeves so I didn't have to wear a cardigan but not something too hot because it was in the summer. Got a bunch of compliments because it is unique looking.

I absolutely loved this dress. I was initially worried because I ordered my usual size 6 and when it arrived it was swimming on me. I chose to receive my dress from the Flatiron store in NYC so they were able to quickly rush me a size 4 instead. The 4 was still a bit loose, but in a good way. I was expecting a skin tight dress but instead got something that was so comfortable but still looked great! I received so many compliments on the dress - I legitimately want to buy it. It really is perfect for any occasion and stood out amongst all the black dresses at the wedding. This is a definite go-to - I'll probably rent it again.

This dress did not catch my attention on the website, but Meredith assessed my style in person and suggested I try it on. I tried on a 40 because it was the only size available, and when I got the 38 there were some issues with the fit; it was loose around the bust/waist and rather snug around the butt. That being said, It was still very flattering and forgiving, and I'd recommend giving it a shot even if the fit concerns you. SO happy I chose this dress, everyone loved it.

I really enjoyed this dress. I think this does run a bit large and isn't really fitted. But I wasn't aiming to wear anything too skin tight. I would say it fit me well and allowed for me to be comfortable, without looking homely. The material is silky and doesn't have give. But the dress is more grey and not white like the picture. I preferred this, not sure if other people would prefer it more in a white color.

I wish the dress had fit me better in the chest it was too big but it was tight in my thighs.

Absolutely gorgeous fabric and cut. I found the sizing to run large; I had to wear a belt and probably could have sized down. I run straight and narrow and the hips were cut too wide for me. The belt fixed it perfectly, though! Comments from men and women alike all night -- a perfect dress for a work holiday party!

I thought it would be white, but the dress is grey/silvery. A little tight around my butt/hips. Gets wrinkly really easily.

I got this dress for my goddaughters Baptism. It is a beautiful dress but runs big. I had to wear a belt with it, so it was a little more fitted. I would definitely size down.

Not my favorite. The fit was good and it flattered my bust, did not look like a tent which sheaths sometimes do on me, but the fabric wrinkled really easily. I looked pretty messy by the end of the day. There were also loose threads on sleeves and the bottom.

I rented this as part of the 3for1 Vday special as I loved the pattern and wanted to try something a little but different than my normal A-line fits. While I still enjoyed the pattern, the dress itself looked way more grandma-y in person and felt like I was wearing a silky pillow case. There was no shape to it and the long length + sleeves + high neckline made it feel super conservative (not like a dress for a date or friend's wedding). I tried adding a belt (seen in picture) but it didn't help any. After all this, I don't think the champagne color did my skin tone any justice so with just that I'd probably not wear it. Definitely looks better on people that are taller so the hemline isn't as long and for more olive/darker skin tones.

I rented this for a business trip to Los Angeles and wore it to several meetings and a more formal event- easy to dress up or dress down with different shoes and accessories. It's silk but not form fitting so very flattering but also not revealing. I forgot to take a picture but I wore it two days in a row and got lots of compliments.

I ordered the 42 and the 44. The 42 was too tight in the bust, so I went with the 44. It's a fitted dress made from gorgeous silk. I had a little extra fabric at the top since I'm short waisted, but I just put a black belt around the middle. It also gave great definition to my waist. I've received lots of compliments.

Wore this dress to a work event at the in the fall- it is tailored, long enough and with an elegant cut. I liked the dress on more than in the pictures. For this price you will not regret it. I was worried I wouldn't like the black triangle part of the dress on the side but it blends well for pictures. Doesn't wrinkle much. I would size up if you are not sure as it will look horrid if its too tight but look very nice a bit larger.

This runs a tad bit big. Loved the hint of lavender in the gray and the details of the modern floral pattern. It was originally supposed to be my backup dress, but I ended up loving it more than the original dress I ordered. Very happy with dress.

Beautiful, true-to-size fit. Skims your figure perfectly, and the lined silk doesn't cling. Looks and feels very luxurious in person. The cut of the dress was modern and really comfortable. Can't ask for more. Loved it!

This was my backup dress as I was concerned it would be too conservative. The cut is very flattering and I ended up wearing it to work so I could get some use from it.

Dress looks different in person- much better! It's actually beautiful shades of silky grey (not black and white). Dress fit very well on the bottom, but was a little large in the shoulders and bust. I ended up pairing it with a great belt and it was perfect! Wore it with great Manolo grey stilettos. Perfect for a dressy Bar Mitzvah afternoon affair. Make sure you have static guard- this dress is 100% silk!

RTR sent this alternate dress to replace one that they could not fulfill and sent me a 4. I really loved the fit and it's super elegant and sexy at the same time. it was actually a new dress with tags still attached. I wish i had it in a 6 and i could have worn it. it's definitely beautiful on but the 4 was just too snug. i think this is best on more olive or darker skin tones.

I liked this dress, but it ran large. I usually wear either a 2 or a 4 and this dress was a little loose in the top. The color contrast of the print and the overall dress was not as pronounced as in the picture. More muted. Overall a nice, but not outstanding dress.

It was very grey and black. Which I loved but I thought it would be more white and black. I rented this for a baby shower and it was perfect. It was a little tight around the stomach after a meal and large in the chest (but I am only about a 36A)

Like others said, loose up top and tight on the bottom. But, even without a perfect fit, the fabric and cut make for a great dress. Got a few great compliments, and felt super secure all night while still feeling beautiful

Like the other reviewer stated, this dress runs large and generous. I am typically a size 4 and ordered a 40 and 42. I ended up wearing the 40 (closer to a size 2) for a fit like the model. I loved it! Wore this dress to a hospital benefit, and was very comfortable the entire night.

I wore this dress to an Easter party and received many compliments on it. It ran a bit large in the bust and waist but photographed nicely, and I was overall satisfied with how it looked.

I wore this to a wedding , This dress is a different color that doesn't show on the picture, the background color is a little more of a smoky grey. still very pretty would probably look better on someone with a darker complexion. I needed to wear a heavier darker necklace to offset the color. But overall a really pretty dress, lots of compliments.

The design is lovely, eye-catching and feminine while still being on the conservative side, and the material made it feel luxurious. I paired it with Prada stillettos - it definitely calls for a great heel.

I rented this dress to wear to Christmas Eve mass with my family, and was more than happy to return it when the rental period was up. The print itself is gorgeous, but the fit was not the right match for my body type. The size 38 (0) was much too large, especially in the shoulders. The length hit past my knees and the sleeves went to my elbows, not at all what you see pictured on the statuesque model (I would love to be that tall!). I felt rather dowdy, hence zero pictures, but on the right frame, I'm sure this dress would shine. It's just not ideal for someone who is 5'3" .

The dress was just ok. There was nothing special about it. It definitely runs large, so size down. I also felt the dress I received was worn looking. Would not recommend for any event more than a work function.

Rented this as a second option for a wedding, ended up returning it right away. It was a pretty dress, seemingly comfortable, but was pretty loose on top. Just didn't look right on me

This dress runs a little tight in the hips/thigh area, so I wore the larger of the 2 sizes ordered. The fabric was soft and silky, and the color was a wonderful grey with pops of soft blue and purple in the floral. The sleeves made it perfect for a chilly Thanksgiving evening; I received a lot of compliments. I recommend going a size up since the fabric had little to no stretch.

The fit of this dress was so awkward. It was very loose at the top and yet tight at the bottom, it was hard to walk even with the slit. It was very light but wrinkled so easily. It was a beautiful design. But overall not a stunner.
