Love this dress, looks great, but was comfy for a fun night out. Love the color and I am a size 4 but got a size 6 and it fit great. RTR is wonderful and will be using it again for weddings I have this year

The dress fit like a glove. I consider myself to be "hippy" and didn't experience any issues with this dress. (I am about 34-28-37 & 135lbs 5'6" in this photo thanks to all the holiday cookies ;) ). This dress was my backup for a holiday party and I ended up wearing my first choice to the event. I wore this the next day to church and received lots of compliments. I love the color and the sleeves are very flattering. (Especially if you are self conscious about your arms). I would recommend this dress for pretty much any event! It is an alternative to the LBD & it's lovely! Thank you RTR for your great service too!!!

This dress was gorgeous, well made and super comfy! I wore to my friends rehearsal dinner and got so many compliments.

I typically wear a size 8, and ordered this in 8 and 10. Size 8 fit like a glove - absolutely perfect. I knew I'd spend most of the evening sitting (and eating), so I opted for wearing the size 10 for more comfort & wiggle room. This dress is beautiful - I've never worn anything like it. I felt pretty, and was comfy all night long.

I usually wear size 4 (40) & although I said "runs small," perhaps it's better to say that it is form fitted. It looked terrific.

I loved wearing this dress! I rented it for a late September wedding in Traverse City, Michigan. The blue is a lot more royal in tone than the model's picture shows, but the black lace tones it down to a more navy hue & makes it an appropriate dress for fall, winter or even early spring. The sleeves were not too tight on me at all, & I have broad shoulders. I found the lace to be a lot softer than I expected so the dress was really comfortable to wear. There's a slit in the back by your knees that provides a lot of mobility while busting a move on the dance floor. I am normally a size 6, so I ordered a 42, & one size up (44) for my back-up size. The 42 fit like a glove. Can't wait to rent this dress again! (By the way, I paired this dress with the Whiting & Davis Gold Mesh Glam Clutch, which I also highly recommend.)

Runs a bit big (but better than small)! Because the colour combination is Blue + Black you ALWAYS have the right shoes and jewelry!

This dress is beautiful. Lovely purple lining under blue lace Gorgeous. Fits true to size. Only problem is zipper puckered in several places. I had a size 44 (6) as a backup, and the zipper still puckered, although not as much. But the 44 was a tad too snug for my comfort through the hips, so wore the size 46 (8). I would have given this dress a 5 star rating if the zipper wasn't an issue.

Rented via unlimited and wore to work. Thought it was a conservative dress. In person the dress has more of a purple color. Very pretty and comfortable fit. Think it's the perfect dress for someone who wants something one step up from the basic black dress

This dress underwhelmed me and it wasn't as well made as I had hoped. I don't consider myself to be a "hippy" person (which is why I thought the dress would work), but as you can see from the photo it pulled in all the wrong places. :( I am really glad I ordered an extra size up (44)...I would not have been able to wear the 42 (aka 6, my usual size). One thing I've learned from this is try on the dress THE MINUTE it arrives. I waited until I was getting dressed for the event, and by then it was too late to find something else. Net: while this looks like a dress that should compliment many age groups, my take is that it is a younger woman's dress.

Rented this for work- def a good day to drinks in the evening dress. It's not too tight in the size I rented and the sleeves are a nice extra detail. Length is great for work - I'm tall and it's just above the knee. Will definitely rent again

It is so nice to wear a NICE dress. I was oohing and ahing before I had it all the way on. Very nice, very comfortable... beautiful. I wore a size 8 -- not sure on the 2 digit number sizes.

The dress fit well when I first tried it on a day before the event, however, as the night went on (from sitting and dancing) it got more loose. I usually wear a size 4 (42) but probably could have fit in a size 2 (40) if it would have been available. Very beautiful dress, I received a lot of compliments. The color is deceiving, at first it looked purple but then while at the wedding, those said it looked more blue. The underneath is more purple but the overlay is a very dark navy, giving it a blue look. Very beautiful dress overall.

This dress was great for an alumni cocktail party event for my alma mater. It was flattering but not too sexy, and very comfortable. The sleeves weren't tight, it good fit across the bust, roomy in the mid-section, and the right above the knee length and slit in the back gave it just enough sex appeal. I feel it runs a bit large, I am usually between a 6 and an 8, but the 44 was a little big on me.

I typically wear between a 4/6. The 42 fit better than the 44, but there was a hole in the right sleeve in the 42 so I had no choice but to wear the 44. It fit in the hips & thighs just fine, but was looser than desired in the bust. The edge of the sleeves were a bit itchy at first, but I got used to it as the night went on. Still looked great & I got many compliments.

The dress has a purple hue to it. The material was thick and forgiving. I gave it three stars because I felt that this dress lacked the luster that it had in the picture and there wasn't anything special about it. I rented this dress to wear to work.

I rented this for a work event and it was perfect. Not too frilly but just fancy enough for a nighttime dinner event. Length was perfect for a work event.

This fit true to size and was the perfect length for a grad school graduation formal. I loved the elegant cut of the dress, and it was very comfortable to wear. I could easily move around all evening, and I got many compliments. Loved this dress, and as always, my RTR experience!

This dress is BEAUTFUL! It fit perfectly and was incredibly flattering. I wore this for a family wedding and it was the perfect choice...conservative, yet sexy. I liked this dress so much I didnt want to return it! This is definitely something I will rent again.

I was worried about this dress running small, as dresses often do when they are listed in Italian sizes. I normally wear a size 2, and the 38 fit perfectly...even with my slightly pear-shaped frame. I felt a little "politician's wife" in this dress, but it looks just like the pictures and is very comfortable.

True to size, well made, great color, very comfy for dancing. Modest. Not flashy but lovely.

The slit in the back gives extra mobility, but for my 5'10" frame it made it a bit shorter than desired.

It fit perfectly, but in person it was very matronly. The neckline was very high and the dress was very stiff overall. The color and quality of the materials were excellent, though.

I selected this dress for a holiday party. It is a beautiful blue/black color combination and has a festive look to it. The dress was roomy for me in the hips and ultimately not super flattering. It was very comfortable though and is a great backdrop to sparkly jewelry.

I usually wear a 6 or a 4, but the 6 in this dress was very narrow through the hips and since it has no give, I wasn't able to wear it. It's a beautiful dress though and the perfect length for something more formal.

This dress was a very simple/reserved dress that fit the atmosphere for the award ceremony I was attending. However, I felt a little matronly in this dress. It ran long and didn't give my body much shape.

I rented this dress for my brother-in-law's wedding but both sizes I rented were SO short that you could see my underwear! RTR was GREAT though and overnighted me another stunning dress. Watch out if you have long legs!

I rented this for an afternoon wedding shower in early March. It fit very well and was easy to move in when helping the bride with large packages. It was a little longer than I prefer, but well suited for the occasion.

This dress was so comfortable and perfect for a wintery wedding! I got to wear a regular bra, which was great, and I danced my butt off in it! It's perfect as is, but can easily be jazzed up with sparkly jewelry if you want. I just wore black heals with it.

I rented this dress to wear to a wedding, but it ended up looking a bit too casual for the event so I just wore it to work. The lace overlay is more like embroidery on netting than an actual lace, which I think contributes to it's casual appearance. The cut is very flattering though, and the dress was extremely comfortable to wear all day at the office. It also was a tad shorter than it appears on the model - I'm 5'6 and the dress hit well above my knees,

This dress is cute, but was too short and tight on the hips to wear to work. It would be good for a date night.
