i loved this jacket! i wore it to work, to a wedding, and casually out one day. note to those with broad shoulders: consider sizing up. i was a little constricted in it but loved it so i wore it anyway. also, the sleeves are short (i think i have long arms tho?), but the body is long which i felt balanced out the short sleeves - so it worked just fine.

Great tailored cut. Business w/ a safari vibe, yet still very feminine. Gold buttons. Sleeves are on the shorter side. I rolled them up one day. Jacket held up for 4 wears, then got a bit too wrinkled.

nice fabric, well-tailored mid-season jacket. Slightly retro vibe. Noce golden buttons. Run very tight in the arms. I recommend two sizes up unless you are top-thin.

Really pretty but ran very small

This jacket is so elegant, and from the fabric, you could just tell how expensive it is. I wanted to love it but unfortunately didn't get a chance to wear it because the shoulder area was really tight. I made sure to size up too, so I would recommend sizing up a couple of sizes if you're going to rent.

I sized up based on the other reviews but it was still super tight in the shoulders. I was able to wear it once with a thin top but wouldn't rent again. The details are cute and unique but the color had a slight yellow undertone that I didn't expect.

This is a very high end item, and it shows. I felt very glamorous and put together wearing it. It was almost too precious to wear. I was afraid I'd ruin it, since it was so nice. It's great to have access to this type of gorgeous clothing through RTR that I otherwise could never afford!

This jacket is sturdy and elegant. However, the shoulders are a bit small. I've rented other pieces from Patou without any sizing issues (38 for blouses, dresses). The body/torso fit well, but with the jacket buttoned, it felt as though the circulation in my arms was being cut off. I couldn't cross my arms comfortably. I will try the 40, though it may be too big through the body. If I were buying this, I'd definitely get the 40 and have it tailored. I wish the skirt was available, too!
