I loved these shorts to wear on vacation down the shore... casual and cute. So so teeny tho, I wore a medium and could've easily done a large.

I knew from the reviews I had to order up, but as a usual size 2 I was still nervous when I hit order on the XL since M and L were unavailable. No need to be nervous!! These really do run super small. They are elastic shorts so I realistically would have been fine in any size M-XL, it just would have been a snugger fit showing more leg than seen here. Bottom line- I think you can make these work if you are a typical size 6 or smaller and you order way up. I wouldn't recommend beyond that because unfortunately they don't go bigger than XL. I suppose you could also order the smaller sizes for a young child :)

I wore these for a 4th of July party on a farm. They are comfy and cute, but honestly I can't think of anything other than a 4th of July party on a farm that I would wear them to. They run VERY small. I usually wear a medium, and I rented the XL and they were still arguably a bit small.

these run really really small, so I would size up. they were cute to wear on the beach!

These shorts arrived in good condition. They were clearly dry cleaned, leaving them kind of rough feeling. I feel like a tumble in the dryer would make them softer in the skin. Doesn't matter because they are miniature. I'm a size large that can sometimes squeeze into a medium. I ordered these in an XL because of other reviews and they're still too small to wear. If you're petite with a straight body then these would probably be a good fit for you but still order one size up for fit, and two sizes up for modesty if you're older than college age. I'm no nun, but they fit like boyshort underwear.

Don't get me wrong They are cute! They fit but definitely a little snug. And for me personally it felt like I was trying to hard. Maybe a bigger size would have worked better for me or if I was 25 they would have been great but at 35 they were a little to short.

These were unbelievably small. I didn't even bother to try them. The waist was the size of one leg. I would recommend sizing up 2x. I should have got a large. Typically I am a 4-6 and can fit in a small/medium

Runs very small - handkerchief ties on the sides are kind of bulky

I wear a 25/26 in shorts, and the medium in these was so small that my butt was hanging out and I had love handles the waist was so tight. Order at least 3 sizes up. Material is also very very stiff, so not even comfortable to wear on the beach as a swim cover.

Extremely small the xl would have fit my daughter who is a size 0
