This dress was fabulous. I did use a mermaid slip for a bit more dramatic look. The material looked rich, and shiny. It was easy to move around in, easy to dance in. It's a winner.

True to size

It fits well and is comfortable. I got many compliments.

I wore this dress for a black-tie event for New Years Eve. They did not have a 2R available so I went with the 2L which ended up being too long! I wore 3" heels and i wanted the dress to just touch the floor (not show my shoes when i was just standing there). However, the dress would drag on the ground when i was walking. It made it difficult to dance. Regardless, the dress was stunning. I received so many complements by random people all night. My husband and friends said it was the most beautiful dress in the room (full of over a thousand people). The color is stunning and the fabric really makes it pop. I'm a solid hourglass figure and usually fit into most dresses pretty well.

I typically wear between a size 2 & 4, and since this dress is not offered in a 4 I decided to get the 2 & the 6...the six was out of stock! Unfortunately the two was my only option for this dress but luckily it worked out. I am not a very curvy person, but the way the dress fit gave me an excellent shape. Wonderful fabric and had a great weight to it. The dress was long but barely grazed the floor while I was wearing HIGH heels. I received compliments on this dress all night! This was my first time renting and I will definitely do it again. I had a wonderful experience. Cheers!

Wore this dress to the Mayor's Masked Ball charity event and it was a knock out! Plenty of compliments and the ball took place during the Christmas holiday so the red worked well. Details- I'm 5'8" and curvy and usually wear a size 8. I rented a 10L to give me the extra room in the hips that I needed. It tastefully compliments curves and is certainly not a "my hips don't lie", "hey, look at me I got curves" dress, but is totally classy. The bust was perfect and the dress has a built in bra. I wore a 3 1/2 inch high heal shoe with my 5'8" height and the length was perfect. The dress is suppose to hit the ground and shows the tips of your shoes as you walk. All I can say is stunning, stunning, stunning! The fabric is high quality and looks exactly the same in person as it does on the model. This dress is so lovely and looks especially great on taller women. When I packed this dress to ship back, a tear came to my eye. :(

Absolutley beautiful gown... runs long. I am 5'4 and wore with 4 inch heels and dress was grazing the floor. Many compliments and was selected for best of the gala dresses! I felt stunning in it. If you are tiny throught the waist, consider going a size down. It was a little big on my hips and waist. Photographed exceptionally well.

Fit was true to size. I have a smaller bust do it fit well but I think with a larger bust then it wouldn't fit as well. The skirt of the gown was flowy and made it very easy to walk and dance.

cons: side zipper makes it difficult to zip and fit...

This dress is gorgeous. I had so many people ask about this dress. First thing I was asked repeatedly was how expensive it was! Little did they know. I would have given it 5 stars except for the fact there was a stain in the bottom part of the dress. Luckily enough, it was between two folds in the dress and with the dim lighting was not noticeable. This fit wonderfully and was extremely comfortable. I would rent this again!

The material was exquisite. The red was rich and beautiful. This dress hugged in all the right places and still allowed me to sit and dance.

It was an excellent fit

The fabric is rich and heavy -- perfect for a snowy Dec. party night. The draping is flattering to the midsection. The dress length is great for taller women -- I wore 6 inch heels with no problem.

I'm 5'10 and curvy but the dress had an awkward fit on me. It also did not look as nice in person. It looked more costume-y even though it's a silk gown. I would definitely had to get it steamed too. My husband said it made me look like the red-head on Mad Men, which I liked but I was hosting a table of clients at a black tie gala so I went with my backup dress.

I am 5'7 and got the 2R, but should have gotten the 2L. My ankles were making unwanted appearances. I like when long dresses go to the floor and even trail slightly behind. The color is super pretty. The folds on the front are not tacked however, so their were moments where my dress oddly sagged in the front. If it were tacked this wouldn't be a problem. Overall liked the dress but I wouldn't rent it again.

I should have gone for the 6 for a TTS fit but I'm not sure it would have fit in the bottom/rear area - I don't have a lot back there to fill out dresses so I'd say this would be AWESOME for someone with a pear shape.

There is no size zero so i got a 2. The top fit perfect, the bottom/hips was much too big, and there is a lot of "volume" in pleating in the rear, so it was not passable. Bright and vivacious in person though, but if you're a zero, this isnt the kind of dress that's going to work on you as a 2.

Unfortunately, it didn't wear it. It was super tight on the bust area and lose on the hips. It is probably more appropriate for a pear shape woman.

I ordered this dress in a 6 and 8 normally wear a size 4. I am a 34 DD. The top on the 8 I could not even zip and the bottom was huge. If you have a somewhat large chest, this isn't the dress for you. I had to return.

This dress is an absolute knockout! The 8 fit true to size but RTR only had long for the date of my event. The 8R would have been perfect for 5'6" me. The long was too long even with 3.5" heels. I tried to fix with hem tape, which was moderately successful. The weight of the fabric is luxe and the color is a stunning deep red. I received tons of compliments.
