I was the maid of honor in my sister's wedding and wore this dress...everyone LOVED it! So many compliments all night long and again once the pictures came out. Highly recommend.

I'm usually between the 3-4, and i rented the size 4R; it fits perfectly but it still pretty tight on your waist. The strap is pretty loose, so i needed to pin it. Also to me the bust was really loose (i have a small bust) so i had to strap it, and to wear a strapless bra and it worked. You can't really see on the website's picture (but you can see on my picture) the dress is opened at the front. This dress is gorgeous, i highly recommend it.

I wore this to a ball with my boyfriend at the Naval Academy, and it couldn't have been more perfect! The material is a gorgeous shiny silky material. One thing I noticed is that it definitely has a more earthy/sandy/brownish bronze color than it seems to have in the pictures (I was expected more goldish), and on the top its silvery--the color was absolutely gorgeous the way it was, but I changed the shoes and jewelry I was planning to wear because it turned out silver went better than gold. Look at the second picture I posted (me in my room) for a more natural view of what the color will look like--I think that one portrays the color the most genuinely. It fit perfectly--the dress has a good amount of space on the top, which is good because a lot of the time the bust area is too small on me. And below the waist area it's flowy but falls really well. The strap was pretty loose, but not enough to be bothersome. I wore the long version of the gown with heels that are about 3 inches (I'm 5'7"), and that worked perfectly. I would highly recommend this dress!

I ordered a 6 and 8 and both fit. I wore the 8 because of some damage to the lining of the 6 that made the front of the gown pucker. The dress has an inner corset, and I did not need a bra. The only fit issue with the 8 was that the strap was too long (it seemed much longer than the 6) so I needed to tuck it in the back which was not a big deal. The length was to the floor with 3" heels with a little train in back. It flowed beautifully and was easy to wear and walk in. One thing not evident from the photos: There is a slit up the middle front that comes to about mid-thigh. Even the dress that was not damaged had some weirdness with how it fell from that slit. When I sat with my legs crossed, I did need to be careful how the dress was situated. Overall, the multi-tone color with shimmer really stood out, the silk flowed beautifully, and I was very pleased with the fit and look.

I ordered a 2L because that was only what was available but I really could have used a 4. It was very tight in the ribs for me and I had to have a lot of help zipping it up, but I blame that on myself, not the dress. Anyone a 34 C and above should definitely go with a 4 or above as the dress was squeezing my chest very tight. All in all, it's a gorgeous dress, I am 5'4 and wore three inch heels and was able to walk comfortably in the 2L if I held it when I walked. I wish a 4 had been available but it was so gorgeous and I got so many compliments that it was worth the squeeze. The dress is so lightweight and the colors are even prettier in person. Definitely recommend this dress.

I had ordered another dress and when I received them they were not long enough for my 5'11 height and so I called rent the runway and they let me choose another dress and shipped it to me overnight for my formal event in Las Vegas. The dress is stunning and was quite the wow factor. I normally wear a 6 or 8 and I could have sized down to a 4 for a more snug fit. However the extra size that was sent was an 8L. Overall, this dress is a show stopper!

This dress was ordered after another size in another dress was unavailable the day before my company holiday party. I had rented two other dresses, so I had three in total, and this one looked so much better than the other two! I'm 6'1" and the length of this dress was perfect when I wore flats. The dress was gorgeous and got compliments all night. Would definitely recommend this for a formal affair!

This dress was absolutely GORGEOUS. I received compliments all night on it and was told by several people that it was the best dress of the evening (besides the bride's). RTR was so great in accommodating me after my original Nicole Miller rental was returned damaged by the person before me and shipped me this dress as an alternate. I ordered the size 2L and 4L (the 2R and 4R were unavailable). The 2L wouldn't zip; the 4L fit like a glove, however, was definitely too long, even with 4.5 inch heels. I used fabric tape to hem the bottom, but still had to hold the dress to avoid stepping on it while walking and dancing because of the train in the back. I felt like a million bucks. Also, the dress looks like it has some gold tones to it in the photos on RTR, but in person is more silver. Silver jewelry matches better than gold (fortunately I had my silver earrings on backup). I wore nude heels with sequins on them. My only negative on this dress is that the size 4L seemed to have a weird bubble of extra fabric near the front slit that seemed like the dress wasn't sewn properly (the size 2L did not have that bubble). But overall, this dress was AMAZING. I didn't want to send it back. Thank you RTR for making my cousin's wedding so picture perfect and accommodating an alternate dress at the last minute!

I loved, loved, loved this gown! Fit JUST right and the movement when you walk in it is magic. I wore the 4R with 4" heels and the gown may have been a tad long, but never really much of a problem. Was just cocktails and dinner, so I didn't have to move around in it much. I liked how snug the corset top is, but the midsection is more forgiving so I could eat dinner without worrying about it.

The fit is VERY tight in the ribs. There is a inner corset that holds up the dress that is smaller than the dress. I wore a size bigger. Fit so comfortably I didn't want to take it off! Pros: a million complements, a dress that completely stands out from the rest, so comfortable. Cons: could be slightly tight, hem at the bottom is a bit worn (but you barely notice) , and you won't want to send it back! I went out and bought 3 back up dress just in case that were all equal cost to my rental -- not one of the dresses even compared to this one. This one just looked straight off the runway! Huge recommendation!

I wore this stunner for my senior prom and it was perfect. It was a breezy day so the dress flowed beautifully with its airy fabric. I added a belt just for the look but it was great without it. I got many compliments throughout the night and recommend this dress to everyone!

Gorgeous Gown! It was a perfect fit & extremely comfortable. The material is very light weight yet the bodice is structured so that wearing a bra was not necessary (in my case anyway). I received an INSANE ammount of compliments on this dress & I highly recommend it for a formal occasion. The quality of the gown and the service at RTR can't be beat.

This dress is a head turner! Delighted by the sparkle factor in photos, flattering flow of the fabric, and how comfortable it was to wear. It was a little large in the bust, but I wore fashion tape and it wasn't an issue. If you want to be the center of attention, I highly recommend this gorgeous gown!!

The dress was very flattering. It was a little snug but still stunning. The material was so light & the compliments were endless. I truly felt beautiful. This dress was my second choice. I am so thankful the other dress didnt work out because I felt like wearing this to mark my 40th year with all my favorite people was PERFECT. The customer service for RTR is beyond awesome. They know how to treat & keep customers! I will be using RTR again!

I originally selected another gown that became "unavailable" on the day of scheduled shipment. I was offered the opportunity to select another gown (choose three, Janna would pick one), regardless of rental cost, for replacement of my selection. I was not disappointed by this gown. It rents for 300. My original rental was 160. I dreamed of renting this gown before but did not want to spend that much money. :-) I was concerned about the color with the tone of my skin but it was perfect with the Ivory on top. It fit perfectly! I was so comfortable. I did not want to take it off as soon as I tried it on. The length was perfect with 3" heels. I received so many compliments that evening. This dress was amazing!! Thank You, Janna M, for your wonderful customer service. This was my first experience with rent the runway and it will not be my last. The Experience exceeded my expectations. Rent the runway rocks!!!

Great fit, the bodice is form fitting until the natural was it where the fabric flows away from the body. The only think I didn't like was the one shoulder strap was a little bit loose. This did not cause the dress to fall down, it is structured very well it was just find of annoying at times. I'm 5'6" and wore 3 inch heals and the regular length was perfect. Over all stunning dress!

I normally wear a 6, so the dress is true to size. The top is a lot tighter than I thought it'd be (there is a zipper on the inside of the other zipper to tighten the waist). At first it was really tight but it loosens up after an hour or so. I got a ton of compliments! The colors aren't as gold as I thought...they are more pewter with SOME gold. It was hard to find jewelry to match, so I bought some dull colored silver earrings that had some texture to them and they matched really well. Gold is too yellow for this dress in my opinion!

This was actually my second choice dress - the first choice dress came with a damaged zipper. This dress is BEAUTIFUL - I got a ton of compliments. I am 5'6, 135# and the 4R was great - maybe just a tad bit tight around the ribs/chest...but not terribly uncomfortable. The length was perfect - and there wasn't a dress even remotely like it in the room! At a black tie event - this dress will help you stand out in the crowd!

It was extremely light, which was perfect because my event was in Florida. Therefore, this is perfect for a summer event. The dress was snug towards the boobs, so I would order a larger size if you have bigger breasts. I actually needed a gurdle and two people to put my dress on. It is also very flattering.

Overall this dress was a little tight on the bust, meaning it kept sliding down because it was too tight when worn higher; resulting in a more chest shown than I preferred. The strap was loose as well, I realized throughout the night that I wished I had pinned it. I did not wear heels with this dress and the dress dragged a little on the floor. Also, do keep in mind that this dress is not nearly as metallic as the picture portrays, it is more a champagne with a sparkle. I loved this dress more this way than in the picture. I ordered the 4R and 6R expecting the 4R to fit me but it was too tight on the rib cage not zipping up! Despite minor issues I enjoyed wearing this dress, and received plentiful amount of compliments due to the uniqueness of the gown. I can promise you no one else will have one like it :)

I wore this dress to my school's winter formal. I have a small waist, medium bust, and a rather large behind, so I ordered the 4R and the 6R. I went with the 6R because it fit my behind and my waist, but it ran really large for the bust. I ended up wearing a lot of inserts and pinning the shoulder strap down. It was a bit long on me, so I just wore 4 inch heels and all went well. I had my doubts about this dress, but when I wore it I felt like the most beautiful girl in the room!

WARNING! Don't wear this dress unless you are OK with the girls REALLY on display. I wore this dress for the first few hours of my event, then was forced to change into my back up dress. I love my girls, but I am NOT comfortable with them spilling over like they were in this dress. I love the color, the length, everything, but oh those babies were OUT. Because of the bodice and the boning you do not have to wear a bra with this dress--I tried & failed, couldn't breathe. But BECAUSE of the awesome support, your breasts are prominently on display because the support pushes everything up! I tried to dance & had a wardrobe malfunction--and that's when I went to change. The reason I had a malfunction when I say the support is wonderful? The support is all at the bottom, so the top is left to hold all the weight, which is fine for a C cup, not for my DDD's. Another weird thing, it has a split that you cannot see in the main picture, but you can see with mine. It sits funny, and looks like the dress is bunched up, but that's how it's supposed to look I guess. Or it's made for a taller woman maybe? I wouldn't rent it again, but it's gorgeous for a smaller chested woman.

Over all, the dress was a tad long, it would work best with 4-5 inch heels, but mine were only 3, so it dragged a little. What you can't see in the picture though is that the dress has a tiny bit of a train, but nothing major. I chose runs small because I normally wear a 10-12 (I'm 5'8" and athletically built) and I couldn't even fit the 10 over my hips. The 12 fit, but the inner zipper wouldn't zip all the way up, however, the outer zipper did so it was fine. The shoulder strap was a little long also, I had to temporarily take it in, maybe because I'm shorter. But over all it was an amazing dress that looks great on! I got so many compliments throughout the night... everyone thought the dress was amazing and so did I! A great RTR experience!

Overall the dress was unforgettable! it sparkled all the right ways in pictures and got tons of compliments! I am smaller in the top so the 6 was a little loose, and the strap therefore was loose. Other than that the dress worked great and I am so glad I used RTR! Can't wait for my next time to dress up.

My twin sister and I rented these for our gods & goddesses themed 40th birthday bash. The dresses were perfect. Gorgeous shimmery color and excellent support. We wore flats and the regular length was fine (we're 5'9). But recommend long with heels. My sister wore a 4 (she's on the left) and I wore a 6 (I'm on the right).

I picked this dress for a Arabian Nights party- it was perfect! The picture doesn't do the fabric justice- it's beautiful! ... I didn't have a choice of sizes because I rented late, so I was choosing between a 2L and a 8P- haha! I probably would've done the 4 or 6R if I had my choice, The 8P was a little big, and just hit my feet wearing flats, but was very comfortable. The stays in the dress were poking out of the corseted part, but I but bandaids on the parts were it poked through and had no problems. Wish I had another opportunity to rent this.

Absolutely loved this dress. It's extremely flattering and the color is beautiful. It runs a little long so even with 3 inch heels it dragged a teensy bit. The strap does nothing to support the dress but the inner workings of the dress (there's a zipper corset) keep the dress up without any worries. I felt really comfortable in this dress and received compliments all night. I would definitely rent this again and actually wish I could buy it.

This dress was beautiful. I did not think that the top was really large as some people have mentioned before. I do have a larger chest but I had to squeeze myself into the top. The dress does run true to size. It is not a dress that stretches so definitely order up a size before you order down one. I absolutely loved this dress and got some many compliments on it. I would recommend this dress a million times over.

This dress was stunning. It's a beautiful color and looked gorgeous. I have a bit of a post-natal belly bump, but it was perfectly hidden by the cut of the dress. Everyone complimented the dress and it was a total standout. The bust did run a bit small though - I could barely zip it up and I'm not that busty (good sized, but not large). Also, there's a weird slit on the front of the dress that doesn't hang quite right.

This was my backup gown and I didn't wear it. However, it is stunning and I plan to rent it again for a future occasion. The color is a little tricky and can make olive skinned people look a bit washed out. I would have definitely worn it with strong makeup and great earrings. The fit is great, though the strap was too long for me and I would have had to tuck it in the back with a combo of a safety pin and fashion tape, probably.

I received so many wonderful complements on this dress. The 6L fit like a glove except for the front part of the skirt where the slit was. I assume because of my longer torso, the front was being pulled up more than it should and the skirt didn't lay just right. It really wasn't anything that anyone would notice but I did. I needed to wear about a 31/2 inch heel with the long version. I tried the dress on with a slightly smaller heal and felt like the dress was dragging. I would recommend this dress to anyone wanting to feel glamourous for an evening and I am planning on renting again for another upcoming event.

The color is an amzing metallic ombre! it does run a little long so petite girls, beware! The dress is beautiful!

I ended up wearing a different dress that I rented but I would rent this dress for another event.
