I rented this for a special occasion / black tie optional event and it just didn't fit right. If I had smaller hips the 6 May have fit, my usual size, but I sized up to an 8 for the hips and the just ended up being too roomy. Maybe with a good push up bra it may have worked but the dress has an inner corset/Bralette and I think it would just have felt heavy with all of that

I managed to zip The size 4 up. There is a zip up inner corset/strapless bra under the dress, and then the dress zips up. The bust on the size 6 was too loose for me, so I forced myself into the size 4, but regretted it later in the evening after I had eaten and the dress was digging into my ribs. I'm giving it five stars because it still looked amazing even though I couldn't breathe ;) but if you're looking for a super comfortable dress, this probably isn't the one UNLESS you have a large bust to fill out the correct size. When I received it, the dress looked a bit brides maid-y. It needed to be steamed but I did not have the time for that. I did like the length and got many compliments on it.

I don't know whether to put too large or too small. This dress has a built in corset with its own zipper (so you have to zipper the corset first, then the dress zips over that). I am very petite but the built in corset was pretty tight. Despite the tight corset, it is huge in the chest. I would have had to wear a push up bra under the built in bra just to make it work. The dress is gorgeous though, so I would have made it work but I didn't end up wearing this dress because New York winters refuse to leave and this would not have been warm enough.

I knew this designed ran small but tried to give the size 10 a shot anyway. No luck, as I couldn't get the dress to zip up. It is so incredibly well made. The fabric and beading details are stunning in person.

I had to repair the seam below the end of the back zipper and for the price, I shouldn't have to do repairs. But the dress was beautiful and I felt like a million dollars.

Dress looks incredible, fits beautifully, but I'm pretty short (5'3") and on me the dress was too long (mid calf) and very binding (no stretch). I didn't wear because I wanted something I could dance in at a formal party.
