So glamorous!! It fit so well and flowed so beautifully. I wore this on stage for a formal Valentines day ball, and I just loved it. The dress really made the night perfect.

I got married on Christmas Day and wore this for my bridal gown. ( not my first marriage) everyone loved the red and people still comment on the dress when we talk about the day. As for fit it's hard for me to comment, I wore the 6 and it fit like a glove, but I recently put on weight so am really unsure what my normal size would be. I am pretty large in the bust and it fit great and did not make me look too big.

The back sash is as dramatic as the vibrant red color. The one shoulder look is flattering. It's a must get!

I've been a member for a while now. This was the most unforgettable rental moment I had so far. Our engagement shoot was in December but I really wanted to wear a red dress in Soho,New York. My bridesmaid and I went to NY showroom and Emily recommended this dress. It was a perfect choice.This dress was so stunning. Especially when we did the "dip" all the beautiful frilly bits fell down and made an amazing photograph. I am very excited to rent more for my wedding now! RTR is the best! :)

Must wear very high heels if you are going to dance in this dress. I got a 4L and 6L never even tried on the 6. Need a great strapeless bra if you are not very well endowed. Also, be careful of bracelets that can snag this delicate fabric. A real stunner, people complimented me all night, it got embarrassing!! lol Gorgeous--Not bad for 60 yrs. old!!

All the previous reviewers who said this dress was for "an older woman" can clearly see from my pictures as well as others that it's not about age or the dress, it's about the girl and how she wears it with confidence. This dress looks great at any age - so elegant and vibrant! This dress was amazing, but I was so happy that I ordered the 6 and 8! If you have over a D, size up, because the 8 barely zipped to the top. It has a corset built into the lining, so there are two sets of zippers to get into this dress - get help putting it on. I loved the sash, but it just hung there so I had my sister-in-law-to-be tie it in a loose bow, which was very pretty. I also wore the CRISLU Crystal Tear Earrings.

The fit is true to size, which is nice. It took the guesswork out of picking a dress to wear. The dress was a little difficult for me to get into by myself though. There's an inner zip for the interior bodice and an outer zip for the dress, both of which are on the side. The dress has beautiful asymmetrical details, including pieces of silk chiffon that graze the floor. Be careful not to step on them and trip. Thank goodness I didn't do that. Overall it's a very Grecian, dramatic, true-red dress that will get you plenty of compliments. I wore it with large (for me) chandelier earrings and a gold animal bracelet for a bit of edge.

I love how this dress flowed when I walked. It was definitely elegant. It is a little long but other than that, I was very satisfied as always. Thank you renttherunway for making my night special.

The color is a perfect red. The fabric is flowy and forgiving, and the cut is very flattering. It is very dramatic and I got compliments all night. Didn't want to take it off!!! I usually wear and 8 or 10. Wore this in a 12 because the 10 was unavailable and it fit just fine. The length was perfect and hit the floor in 3.5 in heels.

The dress did not arrive until after the event because of hurricane Sandy. However, the dress was beautiful and I would definitely rent it again. Customer service at RTR was wonderful and the representative promised to refund my card and RTR credit once the dress reaches back to the warehouse. Great color for the upcoming holiday season. I definitely recommend this dress!

This is an amazing dress a truly beautiful gown... for an older woman. True to size

Aside from needing an engineering degree to get into the dress, once you position it, get both zippers zipped and put the "girls" in place, the dress is stunning. The boning in the chest area is in a very weird place (too high), and the "regular" runs VERY long in the front. In fact, the front hem was very dirty and frayed from having been stepped on multiple times apparently. The dress did not fit as "neatly" as it looks in the photo. But it is beautiful and the material is heavenly. Maybe I'll try it again in a different size...

This dress was my first choice to wear at my dance studio's Holiday Ball, and although I checked with the RTR stylist over the phone about what sizes to order, both sizes were too small in the bust area and I couldn't zip up the dress. I usually wear a 2, so I ordered a 2R and 4R. The dress fit everywhere else around my body, but if you're a size 2 but a 34B or bigger, you won't be able to zip the dress up at the top. Still, my back-up dress that I ordered (and have already given an excellent, 5-star review), the red Carmen Marc Valvo dress, turned out to be the perfect dress as it was probably better suited for dancing than this one would have been. I'm still considering ordering this dress for another formal dance event next year, but would definitely go with a larger size - at least a 6R.

I rented this as a backup for a formal affair and i was less than impressed. My original dress was a size too small, but i was able to get it on and it looked WAY better and higher quality than this dress. This dress just hangs and the material doesn't seem like it it supposed to hang the way it does...maybe it needed to be steamed into place? Overall it was not very flattering, so I wore the other dress that was way more uncomfortable but also way more flattering.

Beautiful gown however all the frills and layers made me look frumpy. May fit better for someone taller with a more slender build.

I order this along with another dress and I ended up wearing the other. This hangs and drags on the ground - not good for dancing. It has a thick bodice corset/bra attached that you would think you may like, but it has a double zipper and weird wires and that make your chest look awkward. I didn't like it and didn't wear it. Thank goodness I ordered a back up!

The top had a ton of fabric and would only suit a woman with a very narrow chest. I'm a 36C on top and I didn't have a prayer of zipping the inner bustier portion of the dress.
