The dress did however sort of cut in around my shoulders but I do have broader shoulders so knowing that I'd say the dress does run true to size. It is more fitted around my chest and it didn't give a whole lot, but the way it looked on me I forgot about those minor contingencies. Will definitely rent again!

Fits true to size

The dresses I ordered didn't fit, so I went to the Georgetown store to find a dress. The dress I wore was actually a 10 and i wear a 12. The dress looks way better on than on the rack. Would love to rent again!!!

The print and fabric itself were great. The hem line was also very flattering. Also forces you to sit/stand with good posture or else the neckline folds and doesn't lay flat. I have a bigger bust and smaller waist and it fit perfect.

Stylish, very flattering, amazing cut and print, fabric was incredible - you could tell it is an expensive dress. I loved the dress. The zipper was difficult, but once we got it up I didn't have any problem.

I wore this dress to my best friend's rehearsal dinner at the Langham Hotel in Pasadena. It's STUNNING! I usually wear a 0 but sized up for more room in the chest. The worst part about this rental was sending it back.

The dress was beautiful, but a bit too large. I normally wear a size 2 but it was not available. 4(10) still fit, but I think it would have looked a little nicer in the smaller size. Gaps significantly at the neck if you lean forward, but could have been because of the size. Would rent again if the 2(8) was available.

I loved this dress. It looked beautiful in person and fit well. Lots of compliments! Take a chance on the asymmetric hem - I wasn't sure I'd like it, but I really did.

The material is high quality and the detailing was extraordinary. The dress ran true to size, but there was extra fabric in the top making it look a little baggy.

I could live in this dress - it was so comfortable! I first saw it online and I loved the uniqueness of the cut. The sizing threw me off but when I went to the store in Georgetown and they actually had it, I tried it on and it just sealed the deal. The pattern is beautiful, the fabric is comfortable and it's just a unique and classy dress.

This is my favorite dress I've ever rented! I loved the pattern and the cut. It fit very well. Definitely fits a smaller bust better. I would definitely recommend this dress!

Fabric was thick and unexpectedly matte (i thought it would be me sheen from the photos). Forgiving in the stomach, which I want, and very comfortable to wear. I'm between 8 and 10 and I wore the size 10 equivalent. My only concern was the material bunched up on top, even on the rack, I imagine due to previous wear. But it didn't bother me.

The dress was beautiful and very slimming. I received several compliments. The asymmetrical cut was especially flattering. While it fit well at first, it was very tight around the midsection by end of night and a full meal. Size 10 Eu. would've been too large in the bust, so I give the dress four out of five stars. Looks great on, but is uncomfortable. Even for someone like me who has a pretty flat stomach.

This dress was fun, it fit good, but it just wasn't my style. RTR sent this dress as a backup when they didn't have my size in the dress I ordered. They sent me like 3 backups. This was one of them. Very good customer service on informing me about what was going on though.

This is the reason Rent the Runway is so great. I got this for a Chinese art evening reception, and it was perfect. The material and cut feel amazing. I sized down to really show off the architecture of the dress, although it runs very true to size. I will get this one again.

The dress is stunning and I received tons of compliments. The fabric is thick and has no stretch so make sure you order the correct size. The red stripe through the dress is metallic with a touch of orange and the background of the dress is ivory with cobalt blue and navy. You will not be disappointed!!

Size ran a little small, but I received an extra size so it worked out perfectly.

This dress is exceptionally lovely! It’s made with the most beautiful fabric which is much heavier than I thought it would be. While it is sleeveless, I would not wear this dress to any outside event in the summer. It would be too hot! I normally wear a 4 or 2 in dresses but in this I needed a 10 which fit absolutely perfectly. The drape on this dress is gorgeous, but one must have good posture or else the upper area will indeed gap. This dress hit me a couple of inches above the knee and just below the knee, both of which were becoming spots. I am long waisted which helped! I originally thought this dress was white, blue, red and black but it’s actually cream not white. The red thread that weaves throughout the interior casts a pink-ish hue on the cream. I think this is a great dress to wear to daytime events and less formal evening events. I wouldn’t wear it to a formal evening affair. Unfortunately, the stitching on the back of the hem was out so I couldn’t wear it all.

Gorgeous and unique. Chest was a little large for me and it is oddly tighter on upper chest than lower chest, as if the intent is to smash larger breasts down but still have a little space for them to smash down into. Good for pear shape.

I wore this to a cocktail attire wedding and the fabric and fit was truly stunning. The brocade fabric was almost glowing and actually better in person. Even got compliments from the bride. I would 100% rent this dress again for an event.

i ordered a size 10, (i'm usually a US4) and it fit a touch large, but not terribly so. the quality is amazing and the dress is thick so don't pick this for a summer event. i wore it with red pumps, no jewelry and it was perfect. wasn't too long for me.

I am petite, so this dress was not above my knees, like on the model, but it was still fine. It runs really small. I normally wear a US size 2-4, however I had to order the UK 10 (USA 6) and it fit fine. The UK 8 (size 4) also fit fine in the waist and hips but it flattened/squashed my chest a little bit. My chest is only a 34b, so that gives you an idea how small/tight this dress is. It is definitely easier to wear if you are shaped like Keira Knightley! The pattern is pretty busy, so keep the accessories to a minimum. I wore it with red heels to bring out the red in the dress.

Wore this to a friend's wedding in which my husband was a groom's man and my son the ring bearer. While there were some pretty dresses there this one definitely stood out. Even the bride complimented. The material was heavier than expected but not like a burlap sack. Softly asymmetrical on the bottom, w somewhat moroccan blue floral w hot pink (or maybe its red) lines in the background. Wore it w patent leather grey & silver heeled shoes. People were awed by my ability to fashionably chase around a toddler. Wore a size 6 which was slightly boxy (reason I gave it 4 stars); the 4 would have been fine showing a little more shape (this was a back-up dress). Highly recommended.

A good dress for slim figures, size 6 will accommodate natural waist 26" and below. This dress is a perfect choice for an autumn tea party. Not recommended for women with love handles.

This dress is beautiful and I love it! The fit was definitely very snug through the bust, but perfect everywhere else. It was exactly right for my son's wedding rehearsal dinner and I will find another occasion to wear it again before I return it. Love, love, love!

Have had my eye on this dress for a long time- got it as a substitute for a summer bridal shower when the original dress I rented became unavailable. I typically wear a US size 4, but they only sent me size 6, which fit comfortably and not too snug. Probably could have fit into the 4, but suspect this dress runs a little small (particularly for larger chests). The fabric and cut were gorgeous and extremely flattering on an hourglass shape, but I opted not to wear since the brocade was a little heavy for a July event. Would recommend for a spring/fall event, and definitely intend to rent this another time.

I love everything about this dress! I needed a dress for my Boss' Daughter's wedding so it needed to be chic and would stay on during dancing but I also needed it to be a little more modest as this was a event related to my work and this dress was perfect. Fits like a dream, comfortable and I got a TON of compliments! Gorgeous pattern with just a hint of orange amid the blue that just added something else special to this dress. Would love to rent again! I got the size 10 because I believe this is British sizing so it was very different from my normal size 2.

I could not have found a person in the room that did not tell me they loved my dress. It fit true to size, and the thicker fabric was very forgiving. Oddly, the cut of the neckline made my arms look more cut (Michelle Obama style) than usual (hangy and weird). The red is kind of metallic, so I scrapped the red peeptoes I had planned to wear and went with strappy gold heels. This may be my favorite dress I have worn ever. You will love it!

I did not originally order this dress, but was overnighted it as a replacement. I was a little afraid that the silhouette would not work for me, because I have a small waist compared to my bust and hips/backside. The fit was great however, and I loved the intricacy of the pattern on the fabric. It was a perfect dress for the wedding I went to, I was sad to send it back.
