I rented this for my rehearsal dinner and could not be happier with how comfortable this dress was. The material is thick and so beautiful!

I loved this dress more than I can say. I received countless compliments on it; most from people I didn't even know personally. The material is thick, almost like drapery which made it very forgiving. The details of the dress are so, so unique and even with 200 + women at the event, not one other dress looked even remotely similar to this one. I will definitely rent it again in the future. I wish I took more pictures of me in the dress; especially of the front of it.

I wore this dress to dinner at the Four Seasons in NY, and quite a few women asked where they could purchase it. The brocade is heavy, and the dress really makes an elegant statement. Think "Mad Men" evening wear... This dress was snug, especially across the chest. It was uncomfortable reaching out to hug people shake hands. I will rent this again but I will definitely get a size UK 12. I am 5'5"- 5'6", 34C, and I weigh 120- 125 lbs. I normally wear a US 4, and a UK 10.

I picked this dress for my bridal shower and I want to start out with- this was my first rental and it was so worth it. I can't begin to tell you the compliments I got just walking around the gas station, my Bridal shower itself, or just among my family (even my fiance said, "Do we need to buy this dress? I think we need to buy this dress.") This thing was unique and turned heads. I knew it would photograph well since I'm an amateur photographer, and I liked the A-line-hint to the dress, with an interesting hemline. With UK sizes, I'm always nervous about sizing, but RTR was exactly right. The one negative was that the 6 fit my waist beautifully, but I could not stuff the girls into it; the 8 was my second option and fit great everywhere but felt a touch loose at the neckline. I still feel like that is true to size, but cut for a different woman. Like others have said, makes you feel royal! It was thick, luxurious material, which I realized afterward was perfect since it didn't need steaming or ironing. I was inside with AC and was very comfortable. The actual skirt of the dress has a different type of material than the outer shell, and it's a poly blend that is much more comfortable to sit on than the embroidered dress. It was not scratchy or uncomfortable- or too long! I added the photo of me sitting down to show how it looks great really in any position. This dress was absolutely perfect for me this weekend, and was the talk of the shower. I am such a RTR proselyte! YOU GUYS ROCK!

The material of the dress was a good thick fabric. The dress was a little too big in the bust, but it wasn't a big problem. I would rent with rent the runway again!

I was worried about the British sizing AND they only had the 12 which was the smaller size I was looking at but I took a risk and it paid off. The dress was beautiful and in wonderful condition. Looked brand new. The material was heavy but not too hot (I'm in FL in March) and it held its shape all night. I had to stand at a podium and speak in front of 450 people and at least 50 must have come up to me throughout the night complimenting the dress. There are certain dresses for certain occasions and this was perfect for my charity event. It is not "sexy", just formal and elegant. Also rented the necklace which was perfect.

My first RTR rental was a success! I'm 5'5 and 130lbs. I ordered the 4 and the 6. Ended up wearing the 6 because it was more knee length and I wanted it to cover my thighs. The fabric felt like a thick felt. I found it to be an excellent quality and the details really classy. It's definitely a dress that will guarantee you compliments and you will certainly stand out wearing it. I felt very Michelle Obama in it! Fabulous and perfect for a church function - dedication of my god-daughter. I would also wear it if I needed to present at a formal conservative event. I wore it with gold strappy Coach sandals. I rented the necklace on the model as well but decided not to wear it as the church we attended was very conservative. The only downside was the faint body odor I could smell from past wears. That really freaked me out. I'd recommend you ask them to make sure the dress is extra clean before shipping it. Other than that, the fit was awesome and it really made me feel special! Loved this dress! I rented it for a professional cocktail/dinner party, so I was looking for something modest yet unique. The brocade on the dress isn't as heavy as you might think, and the hemline is very interesting to stand out among the usual cocktail dresses. I normally would wear a 4 or 6, so I was concerned about the size, but this was the only one in stock. The size 12 was a little large, but not noticeably so. I would rent this again, probably in a size 10.

IT FITS PERFECT, AND THE MATERIAL ISN'T AS THICK AS INDICATED. IT'S BROCADE, NEED I SAY MORE!

Amazing dress! The picture do not do it justice. I received compliments all night even from the bride. The top runs slightly small and there is so give, but even with my larger bust of was beautiful.

fit perfectly, its a heavy material and its getting worn because so many people have worn it now. needed to be ironed before wearing, wrinkly comuing from the box

The dress fit perfectly well. The overlay of the skirt is flattering to the figure. Once zipped up its tight at the top, but it was fine for a few hours and looked great.

This gown is lovely and makes you feel so elegant. I loved how polished it made me look yet still had a unique flare that kept people complimenting me on my dress all night!

It was a bit tight in the bust, and the lurex made it slightly scratchy. That being said, I would rent it again for another formal event.

The material of the dress is comfortable for winter (wool blend) and the details are very cute but not excessive. The only drawbacks are that the waist runs large (I normally wear 00 Petite but unfortunately RTR doesn't run a petite line) and the dress was a bit too long for me (the inner/shorter skirt reached my knee). Other than that it was a perfect skirt for a winter formal event :)

I rented this dress for a charity fundraiser and it was exquisite! The fabric and embroidery is gorgeous, and the fit is very flattering. You can't tell from the picture but the top of the dress is also embroidered with a more subtle silver embroidery. I received complements all night long from friends, the key note speaker, as well as total strangers. This dress was a huge hit!

This was a backup, backup dress. I was unable to wear because it was a size too small, but I will ABSOLUTELY work to get this in my size for another event. The fabric is beautiful, the cut is beautiful. Only reason for the missing 5th star is that I didn't get to wear it!

I could not wear the dress because it was a little to small in the back.

realy pretty dress but flattened my breasts and made them so awk shaped...couldnt even wear it without a bra wish i could have worn this dress..

New, this dress would be gorgeous. However, the one I received had frayed embroidery and nubs of worn fabric. The zipper was also difficult to zip up (despite the fact that the dress fit fine - it happened even on the size up that was too big for me). I couldn't wear it to my black tie event. Thank goodness Rent-the-Runway was awesome overnighted me another option that worked out great.

I wasn't able to wear this dress because neither size fit! The dress looked beautiful on the hanger but barely zipped and looked awful once it did since it was so tight in the top.

Flattering. Beautiful thick fabric. Perfect for a baptism. So many compliments and photographed well.

It's a nice dress but kind of stiff in the top, if you have a large bust, go one size up.

Gorgeous dress but runs small and the zipper was tough.
