Great dress! It was my first RTR experience and I loved it! The dress runs a little on the smaller side...I am a 2 or a 4 and was a 4 in this dress for sure.

I was a little nervous when renting this dress because only the UK size 10 (US size 4) was available and I couldn't size up for a back up. I had read in some reviews that the dress ran small, but it fit me perfectly--very true to size!! (Although I would size up when choosing a back up size.) Pictures do not do this dress justice!! The white is more green and the gold accents are absolutely beautiful. This is a MUST rent. I would rent it again and almost wish I owned it. I received so many compliments as it was so flattering.

This was sent as a replacement dress, however, I didn't end up wearing it due to the length (too short for a church baptism). Wish the occasion had for the dress. Will consider renting on purpose in the future. Substantial fabric and incredible structure. Gives appearance of curves while also straightening out a figure.

I wore this too my school's homecoming dance. The size 8 (size 2 in America) fit the best, but due to dress code restrictions I went with the 10 (size 4) so that it was long enough. The dress was lovely & so many people asked where I got it. The dress is an off-white, and the material is not at all stretchy, but still allowed enough movement for dancing! For larger busted people the material would probably cause an issue. (*note: the off-white and gold w. a bit of silver does make it very hard to find heels)

The fit was great - a little big on my, but I would say a true size 10. The brocade is beautiful and has a sweet embellished detail on each side at the skirt hem. Easy to move it, not too short, but still sexy. Loved it and wish I owned it!

I was a little nervous about this dress given the small amount of reviews but I'm glad I took the risk because I loved this dress! The details and cut make this a very chic and sophisticated choice. O received a ton of compliments. I was a little worried that the girls were going to be a problem and cause the dress to be too tight but I'm glad to say I was wrong! I am a D/DD and they fit pretty comfortably in there. It should be noted that the RTR picture makes this dress look white with gold details when in fact the dress is more of a light beige/tan color. I wore a size UK10.

I wore this for my bridal shower and it was so perfect. I ordered the 8 and 10 and wore the 8 because I like my clothes to be more fitted. The material was so nice. And there were hints of silver which I liked because I incorporated silver in the jewelry. The dress is more of an off white which I actually liked better because I wore it in November. Everyone loved the dress, and I felt great in it. If it helps, my measurements in inches are 39 hips, 28 waist and 33 bust and the 8 just fit me, I couldn't even wear a padded bra because if I did it wouldn't zip. I would recommend this dress, especially for a bride to wear at her shower or rehearsal dinner. It came out great in photos. Can't wait to rent my next dress!

This dress is beautiful, fits perfectly and my fiance said I was a goddess in gold and just loved it. Perfect for our fancy event.

I tried this dress on for the first time in the showroom at Henri Bendel. I was told by the stylist that it isn't flattering on many people because the material is partially made of wool and can be a little stiff. The fact that it was made of wool made it more appealing to me given that I would be wearing it for a daytime formal event in December. The stylist was very surprised after I tried it on and reassured me that it was flattering for my figure. I am petite and very short waisted so a sheath cut works very well for my figure. The gold brocade design is striking and very elegant!

this dress is SO gorgeous- super high end, and love the metallic gold detailing. The fabric doesn't stretch and it was a little tight in the bust- I would size up if you are fuller in that area. I'm also about 5'6 and would have preferred the length to be a little shorter, but I wasn't wearing this with a heel- definitely would have helped! Totally gorgeous, you definitely won't regret renting this!

I wore this dress for my wedding rehearsal and dinner. The dress was classic looking, extremely well made, and was easy to wear, but I thought it was lacking a little something in person. I expected the gold to "pop" more based on the pictures online.

I absolutely loved this style. Gorgeous, thick fabric in cream and gold made this my top pick for an upcoming holiday party! It does run small, particularly in the hips so I would definitely recommend sizing up if you are bigger on bottom. I normally wear a UK 8, but wore the 10 - I probably could have even taken the 12 for a more comfortable fit in the hips. Beautiful though!

I wore this dress for residency graduation and loved it. It is very thick and heavy and I was in Florida so I was very thankful the festivities were all inside otherwise it would have been too heavy. Otherwise it fit well and I was very happy with the rental.

Loved this dress! The fabric is heavy and more cream-colored than white, with festive gold embroidery. Perfect for a Christmas party. It's quite short, but with the higher neckline it didn't feel too revealing.

I wore this as matron of honor in my sister's wedding. We all wore different shades of white with gold accents. This dress was comfortable and fit like a glove. I'm a true size 0, and the 6 fit perfectly (confusing European sizes). I would highly recommend this dress.

Was weary about the length, as the dress looked short on the model, but it ended up being perfect, hitting just above the knee.

I wore this to a 1920s themed party (just add accessories!). I normally wear a 2 or 4 (US), and I ordered the 8 and 10 (UK). I didn't even try zipping the 8, and the 10 fit well. There was a tiny bit of gaping/extra material in the back, but not such that anyone but I would notice. Really beautiful dress, I loved wearing it!

This dress was beautiful! I chose to wear it for my bachelorette night on the KC Plaza. The fit was great and I loved the modesty of the dress (call me old fashioned). The sizing was different as it was European sizing, however everything worked out perfectly. There isn't a lot of give in the fabric but it was comfortable and a provided some warmth on a summer/fall night.

I absolutely loved this dress. I wore it for my wedding rehearsal and got so many compliments! I loved that it was unique yet not all white. The gold really stood out. This dress is a nice thick material and looks very high quality. I was sort of in between sizes and wore the smaller size, so the dress was pretty tight! I have a small frame with a large chest and I couldn't wear a bra or else it wouldn't zip! Overall, a GREAT dress.

I fell in love with this dress on the site, but there was only one size left that had a chance of fitting me. Not knowing my exact size due to a recent weight loss, I went ahead and grabbed it after chatting with a stylist. I was still in love with the dress when it arrived, but the UK 14 was HUGE on me. I could probably have gone down one or two sizes to find the right fit, but it was sold out for my event date. So, it's still on my favorites... and I look forward to renting it for a future occasion.

It does have tendency to run a bit on the snug side as I am a true size 2. I rented both the size 2 and 4 and although the 2 fit, it was a bit snug. Size 4 fit comfortably. I highly recommend it, got lots of compliments throughout the evening.

This dress was incredible. The european sizing threw me off when I was ordering it and even though someone with narrow hips may be the best body type for it, It was awesome. I got so many complements and it was very comfortable! Definitely recommend it!

I wore this for a daytime fundraiser and received endless compliments. Very easy-fitting, not too tight or too short, but flattering and I felt great in it. The fabric is thick, it looks high-end for sure.

I was a bridesmaid in a fairly upscale wedding where the color palate was all ivory, blush, champagne, and gold tones so this dress was perfect for the occasion. It's pretty unforgiving, as it has practically no stretch, but it looks great a little looser so definitely size up! The gold detail is a spectacular would probably look great on anyone. The slip underneath did peek out a couple times, but it wasn't a huge deal, just something to consider... nothing some fabric tape can't fix. Overall great dress!

Loved the dress, wore with brown heels. Dress is thick material and lined so there were no issues with panty lines. The cream color part of the dress is almost like a canvas material.

This dress is so elegant and sophisticated in person. The metallic threading looks like something you would see in European tapestry or on clothing in a museum! The white is a bit off white as others have mentioned, but a great "winter white." I have a small frame, especially in the shoulder area but I have a butt and hips on me. I usually wear anywhere from a 0 to a 4 I ordered the 8 and 10 based on the conversions. The 8 was too tight for me through the butt and hips, the 10 was great through the hips and butt, but then was too big on top. The top of the dress then had huge gaps in the front and in the back. Gorgeous dress, just not cut for my body type!

I ordered this dress as a backup and didn't end up wearing it. The gold embroidery is gorgeous in person - the photos really don't do it justice, but it was definitely tight around the ribs so if you order this dress I would size up.

Being blonde and fair skinned the color washed me out, but that's not the dress' fault ;)

I really wanted to love this dress. I ordered up a size, and then another size because I know British designers run smaller than American. The smaller size (US 6) was too short for comfort, but beautiful. The larger size (US 8) was swimming on me. So I returned it without wearing it. It's really stunning though, very sophisticated and tailored looking. The wool is heavier than you think, so don't wear this in Florida (my other mistake in ordering this dress!)

I didn't end up wearing this dress since my event was postponed. However, I tried it on and the size 8 (US size 2) was way too small and the size 10 (US size 4) ran large on the shoulders. The color was also not white as it appears on the pictures, it's more like a tan color. Overall, this was not one of my favorites.

I am normally a 4, and got this as a backup in a size 6 when I found out the dress I wanted wasn't available. I couldn't even zip it - if you have any sort of junk in your trunk, size up. Additionally, the neck line and arm holes were cut tight. The fabric is gorgeous but the fit just didn't work.

The material and embroidery on this dress is exquisite. I wish I owned this dress so I could get it altered for my shape. The 8 was too tight and the 10 would have been right if it could be pulled up a couple of inches at the shoulders. I rented this for a less formal second reception but didn't end up wearing it. It is ideal for long torsos and slim builds.

This dress looks so beautiful in the pics and as other people mentioned is well made; however I was dissapointed because the dress was not in optimal condition; I think it has been worn many times and the neck of the dress was wavy and also there was a stain on the chest, you can tell there was an attempt to remove the stain but it didn't disappeared completely and I was able to see it, I would never attend a wedding w a dress I don't think is in great condition. Other than that dress is beautiful, it's not as white as the pics suggests and runs small in the hip area; it's not the best fit but u might be able to make it work.

It was very very tight on me and I usually am able to wear a size 4 with no big issues. There was no way I could wear the size 8.

I wear a 4 or 6 US and I rented a 10 UK sizing since everyone said it was small- It was way too tight, but thankfully I had rented an additional dress and it was very flattering. The pattern on this dress is beautiful- too bad it was too small.

Heed the reviews on this dress!!!! I'm normally a 0/2 and the 8 would barely go around me. If you have any hips whatsoever do not waste your money! It is a beautiful garment, but the sizing and construction is all wrong. So sad!!!
