Oversized, but in the best way. I am 5'6", 125lbs and the 40 worked great. Could easily layer over big sweaters. Casual coat that worked great for 30-40 degree weather in NYC. Any colder and I would want something thicker and longer. Received a lot of compliments on it and I was hesitant to send it back!

So cozy. Truly feels like you're wearing a comforter... plus it's very warm. Go with European sizing, not necessarily what RTR recommends. I live in Minnesota and this was so cozy even in frigid temps - I considered buying!

LOVE this coat. Going to keep an eye on it if it goes on sale here. I wanted to keep so bad but this was my RTR shipment so I couldn't succumb this quickly to a piece. So warm. So cozy. Such a fun piece to wear.

Super trendy puffer that is definitely oversized but fits great through the arms. Got a lot of compliments! I repeat it is oversized so go down at least 2 sizes. I checked my size against Italian brands and decided to go down and I am so glad I didn't pick the size RTR had recommended cause that would be huge. Had to return cause NYC has been pretty warm lately.

Loved this coat so much. The only issue was the buttons, which found themselves gettin stuck on everything, specifically the grocery stores cart.

Puffy puffy puffy!! So cute, great color, but definitely be prepared for a lot of puffiness. The second time I wore it, one of the buttons popped off the coat while I was walking, so it unfortunately had to be returned early :/

Sizing down is probably your best choice

Super warm and color is great but I'm only 5 feet and it consumed me. Even if I had sized down it still would have been the same. It's just the style of the jacket.

But slippery in a way that wasn't fun.

I selected this as a purchase not as a rental. It fit well and was ok but not a keeper. Truly reminded me of a sleeping bag. Could be fun as a rental, but doesn’t have an outstanding quality to make it a closet staple.
