I felt great in this dress. I wore it to a black tie event as I wanted something with sleeves but still sexy. This one totally nailed it. It's the most beautiful color blue and the fabric is divine. The fit was great.

This dress was kept me perfectly warm for an outdoor fall wedding. I was also surprised at how well the dress fit me as I am a curvy girl. I received lots of compliments.

Perfect for an event, it is a little long - heels were needed for me

I was looking for a stunning long-sleeved gown to wear for a formal event on an evening when the high was just 25 degrees! This dress was perfect. The cutout and mid-thigh slit show just the right amount of skin to be sexy yet comfortable. At 5'-2", the dress just swept the floor for me and I was able to get away with wearing kitten heels rather than 3"+ heels. I ended up going with the size 10. I could've made the size 8 work, but the size 10 was easier to get on around my hips and the dress does not stretch. Overall a 10 out of 10!

Such a lovely gown! Simple but elegant, and when the light caught the color it was stunning!! Ended up wearing the 4 because I was feeling a bit bloated that day, but the 2 fit just as well!

Wore to fall wedding reception inside an old remodeled factory. It was freezing in the building and this kept me warmer than most dresses would. Fit true to size. Loved the velvet and the color. Would rent again.

I'm in between size 4 and 6 and ended up going with size 4 because the overall fit was better. It was a bit tight on the waist but it's not obvious, more that it didn't feel super comfortable on the waist for me. Other than that, the rest of the dress fit perfectly and draped in a very flattering way. I was able to dance just fine in this dress, which is a major plus!

So many compliments. I sized down and it fit perfectly. Definitely recommend.

Wore this to a fall/winter wedding! LOVED it and got so many compliments. Heavy material but was comfortable and true to size fit.

I absolutely love this dress. Very flattering and the velvet is super cozy, especially for the cooler weather. The sleeve's are incredibly fun and the buttons at the wrist make the dress seem very classy and high quality. Wore for a black tie wedding and also a 1920s murder mystery party. Am considering buying it.

This dress was perfect for the event I attended. My favorite thing was the length. I could wear heels or flats with no problem.

Got so many compliments on the dress. This dress works for a black tie or a semi formal event. I was able to wear this to a catholic ceremony and feel amazing ! Was a little warm when dancing a lot on the dance floor but took a step out side and went back just fine.

I was so comfortable in this dress. The cutout was just enough to give it that edgy look, and the slit made it fun, too. I’m in between a size 2 and 4 and was able to wear the size 2 perfectly. If I have another formal, winter event, I’ll be choosing this one again.

I got this dress as a backup, and ended up wearing the primary dress I had chosen, but I may rent this one again for our next event!

Older and not model thin doesn’t mean you can’t look fantastic. I love being able to photos of other women my size/age in reviews. It helps so much! So I’m returning the favor. Hope it helps someone else.

Loved the dress! Felt great, went with the smaller size for length, could have worn a 2 or 4.

I could have worn either the size 12 or 14. I am almost 5’7 with a short heal I am 5’9. My weight is 160 lbs. The split on the size 14 was not as far up my leg so I preferred the 14. Also, the side opening fell on a more flattering part on my side. This was a last minute back up and I was so happy that it arrived on time. Perfect!

The 12 fit but the 14 was more comfortable although a little big in the chest/neck area.

loved this dress! so many compliments! i wore this to a gala. it is elegant and the cutouts are flattering for any body type! this dress was comfortable. i am between a 12/14 and fit into both, but went for the 14 as it was a little looser around my mid section.

I sized down and I think that’s the way to go given the paleness of the front fabric- great that it’s forgiving to the puffy belly when you’ll be eating ;) the zipper was snug, but plenty of comfort for the front. Undergarments : you can wear a regular bra with it! Keep the ladies in place. I wasn’t wearing a tummy slimmer in this try-on session, but I do plan to wear a low-ish cut slimmer for the event

I typically wear a size 8/10. The 8 was a little too tight and then 10 was perfect! Plenty of room.

I was pleasantly surprised how well this fit! I was worried about the length but with a medium heel it was perfect. Got compliments all night! Felt great in it and it accentuated all the right areas. The front lay of the fabric also covers up the stomach.

I needed a dress for a formal Christmas party and I couldn't have picked a better one. Not only did I get multiple compliments, I felt so beautiful walking around in this dress. The dress fit so well and was very comfortable perfect for a colder weather event.

A little snug at the waist, and I wound up choosing a different option, but this was a strong contender! Really beautiful.

If it was $100 I'd buy it. It fit beautifully, was super comfortable, and my husband loved it to. Made it from a 4 star restaurant to the casino floor with ease. Perfect for fall with the velvet. I hope to own it someday. It couldn't have fit much better.

Beautiful, classy, and comfortable dress. A hint of sass with the side cut out, and the cut out is at the rib so you can still wear spanx. My only footnote is that the velvet got a little hot with all the dancing we did! Otherwise, great dress.

It was the right dress for a chilly rainy October day. I couldn’t have asked for a better fit. I received so many compliments!

I got this dress in two sizes. Normally I’m about to 10, but I wore the 12 in this dress because I like the extra room. I think the tin would’ve probably looked a little better because it would have been more formfitting. But I was taking a chance on this velvet in May for a Chicago wedding; one never knows!! So I thought a little looser fit would be more comfortable and cool. It was beautiful and sophisticated, and I got tons of compliments.

I recently turned 40 and the cutout made me nervous, but I LOVED how this gown made me feel! Soooooo many compliments! Tip: You can not wear a bra so may not work for larger chested women.

The length is a little short but the dress is amazing! Fabric has lots of stretch.

Great dress! I’m probably a true 16, and got this in a 14 and it still fit great (albeit snuggly). I needed it for a work event and the slit in the front was a biiiit too much for this event, so I did not end up wearing it, but would be totally gorgeous and fun for another event! Was surprised by how flattering the side cutout was for a curvier gal!

This was the perfect dress for the event I was attending! The cut out was fun but not too revealing, same with the slit it showed some leg but wasn’t crazy high. I am typically a size 14 and the 14 was true to size. The stretchy velvet made this very comfortable to wear all night. I will note - I am 5’ 1” and wore very short heels with this. Taller ladies may have an issue with the length!
