This is the perfect “little black dress”. I’m going to wear it for date night for sure. The zipper all the way down the back is everything. I felt so sexy in this dress. My only complaint is that the white lines you see in the online photos don’t really stand out that well in person.

Loved the zipper that runs down the back! Makes the traditional black dress unique and fun. The fabric was pleasantly stretchy and nice quality overall.

This one was super cute on. The fabric does hug you pretty tight so I might have been a little more comfortable wearing it to work had I sized up, though I only received positive feedback throughout the day. The full zip on the back was fun but it does get a little wiggly towards the bottom which sort of messes up the super clean line look. Overall super cute though and very well made!

I love this classic dress by Of Mercer! Running true to size a lot of stretch, I recommend wearing your true size for your primary size and sizing up for a back up. This style is fitted throughout the midsection and hips. It works for all cup sizes and works best with any bra. At 5'3', the length hit at the knee on me. I love the silhouette of this dress! Pair with nude or black heels to complete your outfit!

This dress was great. I wore it to a conference. It was pretty tight and I had to wear spanx with it. I think it might've been a little too sexy for every day work, but it worked for the occasion. If you're considering two sizes, I would choose the larger. Nice stretchy material and body hugging

Beautiful design with forgiving fabric. I sized up based on other reviews but found the dress fit more true to size. Comfortable dress I could work/travel in all day and not tight in the under arm at all. Would recommend if not for the zipper issue.

This dress is skin tight! The slit in back comes up high and I'm only 5'4". Would be good for a night out, not work. Highlights your belly if you have one ;) Zipper also doesn't lay nicely. Didn't wear :/

A simple black dress. I thought the back zipper would be cute and sexy, but it didn't lay flat. It was lumpy looking all day. Also, the seams of the dress are not smooth. The dress is unlined, so I could feel them all day. It's a simple black dress, but not one that I would rent again or consider buying. There are cuter, more comfortable LBDs at RTR.

The sitching on this LBD is what makes it! The fabric is thick and snug, so it holds all the right places. Versatile, flattering, and simple. I paired with a trench coat/duster type jacket and heels. Perfect for work!

It is a nice dress. It is snug so it will show any bumps or flaws quickly. It is a thick fabric that doesn't wrinkle quickly or collect lint.

It doesn't really "run small", but it is quite fitted (and stretchy) and a bit unforgiving for lumps and bumps. VERY comfortable though! I put a blaser over it, and it was perfect for a Board Meeting. Got compliments.

True to fit. No cons at all. Don't need any accessories around the neck. Love it.

This dress is amazing. I loved everything about it, the fit was perfect & I wore with a sweater overtop & black boots. Received a compliment :) Form fitting but not skintight. It does show some imperfections but it's still professional if you pair with an overcoat or sweater of some sort. I'm 5'3", 125 and petite/athletic and the 4 fit beautifully.
