Tres chic! Absolute knock-out piece.
Loved this outfit. Elegant, with clean lines and conveys strong femininity. I'm quite tall and so I wore black leggings underneath with a black fitted bodice to cover the bust (it's a deep V neck). That gave it more of a mod pop feel, but this would be stunning on its own. It's such a high impact piece I could only wear it a couple times, but I was still so sad to send it back!

Great Dress that works as a vest as well
This is a very tailored/structured white dress that can be worn more like a jacket over a dress, pencil skirt, jeans or black work pants. The tail/back end is fairly long - I am 5'9 and it came down to my middle calf. Would definitely rent again!

Not a dress
I was expecting this to function as a dress rather than a vest, but it just wasn't functional. I've even worn blazers and vests as dresses before, but this one was too deep and open to work without layering. There aren't any additional buttons other than the ones that show in the picture, so there aren't any other clasps or closure points. I wanted to love it and wear it so badly, but it just didn't work for me. I think it might work for someone who is petite and slim. I am 5'10" and it would open as I walked, but maybe a shorter person wouldn't have the same problem. The material is heavy and it's beautifully made, just know that it's more of an overcoat than an actual dress.
