A bit heavy, but I wore them all night with no problem. Totally sparkled and complemented my outfit perfectly.

They were clip on which I didn't expect - but given the size of them, it was better because they didn't hurt my ears. They were stunning.

These are clip on. They are on the heavy side but I never felt uncomfortable or like they might fall off. I wore them for 5 hours and my ears did not hurt. I got lots of compliments and people wanted to know more about them.

I have pierced ears so I am used to wearing clip on earrings. These were comfortable on me and stayed in place. They were not heavy or bothersome. I forgot I had them on most of the night. Very shiny and sparkly.

Oscar de la Renta is pure class, and these etoile earrings are no exception. An elegant sparkle without being overbearing on the dress from RTR I ordered, these earrings were the perfect complement to my ensemble. Will rent it again! Love, love!

I was so glad that I chose these to compliment my Milly dress! Unfortunately, Oscar de la Renta passed the week of my rental - but I was so glad I got to wear his stunning jewelry to the wedding and share his great work. These are clip-on's and were very heavy. I had to adjust them a few times throughout the afternoon due to how tight they clamp onto your ear.

These look just like the picture. Keep in mind they are heavy but if you're used to larger earrings you're probably fine.

These beauties were tough to return--I really would keep them if I could! Gorgeous, not too heavy, and best of all, they didn't pinch. I took them off on the drive home but even then the pinch-pain factor was less than a 2 out of 10.

These earrings are stunning. They sparkle brilliantly and look absolutely beautiful (particularly when one's hair is pulled back.) I was so-so about them when I ordered them, but seeing them in person made me understand what the fuss was all about. The clip-on design, however, made me very nervous. While I didn't wear them because they did not match the dress I ultimately wore, I would have been terrified all night that I had lost one/both of them if I had worn them. I think one has to be comfortable with clip-ons before taking these out for a spin.

These earrings are gorgeous! They were large but since the color was neutral they were still completely elegant. I was a bit concerned about that they would be uncomfortable being were clip-ons, or worse, I would lose them, but no problems with either of those issues.

I rented these for my rehearsal dinner the night before my wedding. My dress was very art deco with golds and champagne sequins. These earrings were clip-ons which I have never worn. I will say they were fairly heavy, but nothing I couldn't deal with through a seated dinner. The clips definitely started to hurt my ears after a couple hours so if this had been a longer event or if it involved dancing, they probably would have ended up tucked in my purse. But really- they are more gorgeous in person than in the pictures here!!

I wore this with the Badgley Mischka Glitz Gown, which worked perfectly because they are both rose gold. (The stones are much more pink in person than shown in the picture.) I absolutely loved wearing them!

Just the right amount of sparkle

I ordered these earrings to go with the Herve Leger Temptation Rising Dress for my 25th birthday. They are large so they are heavy but I was able to wear them for 4 hours without needing to take them off.

My initial thoughts on receiving these earrings: Heavy and large. However I was able to wear them for over 12 hours with no problem. Note: these are clip-ons!

Unfortunately, one of the clips was loose, and kept slipping off. This could have probably been easily fixed, but I didn't bother. They were heavy enough that I didn't worry about losing them though, I could feel as soon as they slipped. Great addition to my outfit overall!!

although i was initially disappointed that the earrings were clip on i decided to wear them anyways and I am so glad I did. Looked grey with the dress a rented and I got a ton of compliments on both, nobody had any idea they were clip on. I hugged people all night long even few while I was on stage and they never moved. Loved them!

They were too big for my ear lobes, felt like I could lose them any second. Gorgeous, though for somebody used to clip-on earrings.

These earrings are gorgeous! I didn't notice they were clip on earring until I received them which made them hard to wear for any length of time since they were so heavy. That being said, they will make any outfit and if you can handle clip ons I highly recommend them .

By the end of over date, which was just dinner, I couldn't wait to take them off.

They were teh perfect compliment to my gown but were a little too heavy :( Had to take them off every few minutes to rest my ears. Maybe need better cuchion on the clips.

These earrings are beautiful; however, they are clip ons and they kept sliding off of my ears. They didn't even make it through the wedding ceremony. I decided to switch earrings before the reception because I didn't want to risk losing these.

While these earrings were beautiful, as pictured, they were much larger than I expected. I ended up not wearing them, as they were too gaudy for my taste.

They were much larger than I expected and a little gaudy looking in my opinion. Ultimately I opted against wearing them simply because I was only going to a wedding and I felt they were too regal looking. It was like I stepped into my moms 80s earrings stash. However, maybe for a much more formal affair or for someone with more of an ostentatious taste than I have they'd be the perfect set of earrings. Clip on, so they wouldn't weigh your ears down as the night goes on!
