This Oscar de la Renta necklace is truly a show stopper. You will get compliments all night long and feel like a million bucks. The blue tones are striking. It's also a very comfortable necklace to wear. I paired it with an LBD.

I had the privilege of renting this necklace after my original was returned damaged, and boy was I glad someone trashed my first OdlR necklace! From opening the box to forlornly returning it, I was in love with this piece. I wore it to a wedding reception with the Badgley Mischka Waterfall of Love dress. The necklace was a solid weight on my chest, but never bothered my neck. The color of the stones was even more brilliant in person, particularly in the sun. RTR's photos seem comparatively washed out to what I recieved. I wore the necklace almost and long as it could go, FYI, to balance the low neckline on the dress. I danced quite a lot, ended up crawling around helping with broken speakers, and the necklace never got tangled or hit me in the face. I was constantly receiving compliments, and both the bride and (delightfully goofy) groom had to try on the necklace! LOL This is definitely a FANCY necklace, so rent accordingly. In my opinion, the dress and necklace was the perfect pairing for the level of formality I wanted, as the necklace is definitely gala-worthy on it's own! The Mischka was the perfect rich cobalt blue, but the shorter color and classic ruffles styling softened and dressed the necklace down. I would be very surprised if anyone could dress this down further. I did a neutral, slightly shimmery eye with a bright blue winged liner (Stila), and a soft pink lip, to let the necklace shine. If you're looking for a statement piece of brilliant blues that will get you tons of attention, get this one. It photographs beautifully, lays solidly, and has a ton of character. <3 Oscar de la Renta!

Loved wearing this statement necklace , I ordered it as a member of the unlimited program and have yet to exchange it for another necklace, it is on the large side but very beautiful!

This is a very fun piece. I would not normally buy something like this but unlimited lets me experiment. I love how huge and bright it is... definitely a statement piece. I wore it with a pair of jeans and a brown v-neck sweater and a pair of flats... casual clothes with a great centerpiece. It was a lot of fun to have on. It is very heavy but lays on your shoulders so I didn't get a headache. This is the kind of piece you don't wear unless you just decide to rock it...
