Rented this Oscar de la Renta statement necklace and oh what a statement it makes! This beautiful piece can be worn formally or for a pop of something bold with a classic career outfit. I chose to pair it with a red blazer, blank tank and trousers. Don't be afraid to wear it casually either - just pair it with some basic elements and it'll look great! About the piece itself... it feels as heavy as it looks and I did knock off a star only because the gold has more of a vintage look than the bright, sharp gold in the RTR pic. Overall though, a very feminine, beautiful piece.

I like this necklace but due to the vivid reds, it is seasonal for the holiday season. I used it against black and it really pops out but it is also a little too much bling for daytime wear. I would buy this necklace but it's not in my budget. very nice addition to jewelry box.
