Made this curvy curl feel very sexy. Yes, there is definitely shapewear involved here, but the dress was very comfortable and would be flattering on most shapes and sizes. Stretchy so I didn't even have to unzip the side zipper to slip in and out. It is very low cut, so I did find myself tugging at the top a bit, but this is probably because I need a large in the hips and a medium in the chest. Overall it's a fantastic little black dress.

Rented this thinking I was going to try to get away with wearing I️t to work. It's a little tight but it's super flattering and actually quite sophisticated with a cropped jacket. I wore Heist tights underneath...would have been self-conscious without something keeping me in underneath because the dress is tight!

Runs large, I ordered a small and a medium and the medium was big with lots of extra material bunching in the back and waist. Really forgiving stretchy material with a pin-stripe pattern, makes it look a little more like a "business" style dress for a work conference than a wedding, but still very flattering on.

This is my all-time favorite rental I've had thus far. It is a thick cushy material and hugs your curves in all the right places. I'm 5'2 and the length on the medium was just perfect for me. I loved how it hit half way down the calf in the back and then the cross over in the front came up above the knee. This dress was SO flattering and sexy. I am a full 36DD so normally I end up sizing up because of that. But with the shape of this dress and the stretch to the fabric I ended up wearing the medium instead of my usual large. The large was a little baggy all over whereas the medium was perfect.

I wore this dress to an engagement party. The material is great, forgiving and comfortable. I would recommend wearing a push up bra, as the dress can be low cut if you have a smaller chest like I do. You can pair this with statement earrings and black pumps!

This dress is super heavy but very forgiving. It runs big and your girls will be out so prepare

There is no way I am an XS but I fit nicely into this dress, and it hugged/accentuated all the right places. I am pretty much a size 6 and should have been in a small or even medium size but this was the only size they had at the Vegas location when I went in to replace an outfit that totally didn't work. I bypassed it twice because it was in the XS section but when I finally picked it out it seemed to be a size I could fit in. When I tried it on, it was an instant "yes." I added my own belt because it seemed to need something in the middle but other than that the dress was perfect for a business-related night out in Vegas.

The Overlapping Dress runs true to size and I would suggest going a size up for back up. The dress has a deep v cut and is great for any cup size and the length of the dress ends at the knee. The dress is fitted throughout the midsection and fitted for curvier women throughout the hips ( I would suggest going a size up ). You can dress up or dress down this number for a causal day out or a fun night out.

This was a backup dress for my work dinner for my husband's company. I didn't expect it to be so boobalicious! Definitely a winner for curvy girls! The dress runs large. The material is very thick and warm. The medium fit fine in the hips and waist but the top was a little too loose and if I moved even a tiny bit the dress became floppy and you can see down the dress to my bra. I didn't wear it mostly because I wanted to be a little more conservative but if I did wear it I probably would have pinned the top to stay put. Great dress for a cocktail party, New Years Eve, etc.

This dress has a very thick material so beware !! Overall good fit and I got many compliments however I would not recommend for someone not busty it would be too large and it also has a very open chest so consider that.

Such a comfortable and fun dress I decided to make it work vs sending it back. I added a sheer black blouse and a lace half-camisole to offset the plunging neckline issue. -- Mega-stretchy so it will both show what ya got and adapt to various body types. Thick material good for smoothing over things. -- I'd size down for backup, though broader shoulders or larger bust might fill out top ok -- DEEP plunge to bottom of bra band on me ( I'm short-waisted so also had a little extra fabric in back) -- Longer in the back on 5'4 me than is ideal for flattery (hit mid-calf), but curving high-low hem makes this a special dress so I left it alone

The fit is true to size but caution that the front is difficult to wear without exposing your cleavage, almost too much. I tried to use several double-sided tape options but the fabric was too thick to hold so I used another renters suggestion to wear a cami. And I'm so thankful I did. The fabric is perfect. It holds you in, is very forgiving and comfortable. Someone commented it was difficult to put on and to make sure you do your makeup and hair "after" you get the dress on, so instead I didn't try putting it on over my head but rather stepped into the dress and that worked just fine. I loved the dress and would recommend it. It's very flattering.

I wore this to my husband's work holiday party. I ordered the medium and went a size up. I wore the large because it laid much better when on. It was very loose fitting in the bust area and showed a lot of cleavage. I wore a cleavage cover so as not to be so revealing. I felt very good in the dress and was happy with the overall look!

This dress was not what I was expecting. The fabric feels like polyester, and the way it stretched across the booty was not ideal. Did not wear.

The dress is nice but although I am a C-D cup, the chest area was still too large and wearing it made me feel uncomfortable. I would order a size down.

I thought the dress looked more like a conservative but unique dress with pinstripes. Unfortunately it is made out of a scuba fabric which I was not expecting and doesn't have pinstripes. They are these ribbed lines instead. I also wanted to wear it to work but it turns out to be REALLY low-cut.

Great dress! Would be more revealing if I had a bigger bust and it does tend to gape in the chest when I sit down. But I stand mostly at work so it worked! The fabric is thick and stretchy so it's really comfortable.

oh man, i love this dress. the only thing i love more than this dress is my boyfriend. the fit is perfection, the fabric is thick enough to hide anything you need to-- totally fine not to wear a bra with this dress, but you could also wear an ultra-supportive one if you wanted to, because it's conservative, but also sexy. no need to wear spanx; the dress itself smooths out any rolls or anything you might be self conscious about. i need to find this dress and buy it and never take it off.

Dress is a thick stretchy material. Rides up easy but really comfortable. I'm small on top so it was a little gapey- wear a good pushup bra. Really fun dress- sexy but classy.

My only concern was the top half is some what stretchy and therefore someone who is top heavy it becomes an issue as the night goes on so a safety pin is a definite need

The cut on this dress is really unique. It is cut a bit low in front - but barely showed my bra (black bra solved the problem). The length keeps it very classy. Wouldn't say it's work appropriate - but it's definitely date and cocktail appropriate. I wore it to a charity event. The top and bottom of the dress seemed in proportion - some of the other reviewers found the top very large (I'm a 32 DD maybe smaller bust would need a camisole). The thick material is very forgiving. You can really dress this up or down - thought seriously about buying this one. It's a really great LDB.

This is a very flexible piece for transitioning from work to a night out. The structured fit of this dress hides any problem spots and makes the body look long and lean. The dress has a subtle pinstripe pattern laid over the rich charcoal gray. This would make an excellent work reception dress.

It fits very well. It is great if you have an athletic body type.
