Wanted to order size 8 based on reviews but was unavailable, I was lucky to fit into smaller size but was VERY tight across bust. The 'white' part was actually gray & wasnt as nice in person. Found it difficult to get into dress & lucky not to have to use ladies room that night. The cutout opening was wider on me than in sample picture & I ended up doing a last minute spray tan to not look too pale with so much exposed. Someone said its edgy, not a 'mom' dress & that sums it up. Wore with black cage shoes & chunky bracelet, overall I would rent again.

This was not my original choice. I had selected a similar dress but the day before the event, I was contacted by a Rent the Runway stylist stating one of my selected sizes was returned damaged and they would be unable to send it to me. However, they offered to send me a similar style in the same size, in addition to my original selection. Unfortunately, my original choice did not fit well. I have a high waist and a wide rib cage. When I first saw the "mystery dress" I had no idea what it was supposed to look like or how it was supposed to lie. My spouse was convinced it was a pant suit of sorts, and I kept putting my head through the wrong holes or slits. After finding a picture online, I figured out how to put on the dress and was blown away by how it looked and fit. This is something I would have never selected on my own and I'm so glad the stylist took a chance with this.

This dress was perfect for a futuristic themed party I attended. It was a little big in the bust but some fashion tape helped hold it place. Comfortable and fun, I wold definitely recommend!

I am giving this dress a 5 stars rating for the style and it looked AMAZING however, the hemline on the dress was unraveling when I got it and it was too small for me. Broke my heart. I couldn't wear it. However, it was small on me but I may be between a 4 and a 6.

i love love love this dress. this dress is my favorite dress of all the dresses i have rented. When i rented this dress i did not even know how it look because i previously order a dress but i did not fit so i had to call them to let them know i needed a swap, and after waiting 35 minutes on the phone, i was told the UPS truck was outside and was going to leave in 5 minutes so i needed to pick a dress soon. i end up telling the person who i spoke to, to send me any dress that was available, so she picked this one, and i could not have been more happy she did. i received so many complements all night. I LOVE RTR

I wore this dress for a work centric movie premier: nothing formal or fancy. It was nice though to stand out in the crowd a bit. This dress looked great on. I got a lot of compliments all night. The dress ran true to size if not a little bit large but there really is no room for forgiveness in this more body conscious style. I did not need to wear a bra and just used some Hollywood tape to keep the edge of the cut in place. I would think that if you were a bit bigger on top this would be a more difficult dress to pull off. My only complaint is that the "white" skirt is actually a bit dingy looking: tending to be more grey in color. Not really noticeable.

Good fit but because of white underneath part some people at the club thought it was my underskirt....in a dark light and pictures it difficult to see the gorgeous design ...

It took me three tries to figure out how to put this dress on. I had to pull up the pic then figure it out. There is an extra hole in the black material that hangs down which makes it tough to get on. Once on, it looks good though. I am a size 2 and it fits me perfect. The white fabric is not as vibrant as I had hoped for, but oh well.

This was sent as a backup dress. It was a little too big in the bust area. I could have made it work with some fashion tape but it was just a bit too edgy to wear to a conservative work event. Cute dress though. I would definitely rent it again for a less conservative event,

The different layers look really strange on the hanger, but look great when you put it on! The long layer has a hole in it, so it will lay flat... but at first I thought a limb was supposed to go through!
