I loved everything about this dress! It was comfortable, flattering and I got tons of compliments all night. The straps were a little big compared to the rest of the fit, but it wasn't enough to bother me. It's figure-flattering and not too short. Would definitely rent this one again!

This is definitely one of my favorite dresses I've rented! It was so comfortable and flattering, perfect for an outdoor wedding. The fabric is thick, you can wear a normal bra with it (or also no bra), it has pockets (yesss!), and it looked great with wedges and a cardigan. The skirt also flares out beautifully on the dance floor! This one was definitely hard to send back!

My first RTR dress and I couldn't have been happier! This dress was super flattering and so comfortable! I was worried it would be too long since I am on the shorter side but it ended up falling at just the right length. Plus, the fuller skirt made it very flirty and fun to dance in. The fabric has a bit of stretch and I was able to wear a regular bra with it as well. I accessorized with the Slate and Willow Loop Me In necklace and loved the look. Highly recommend this dress for any semi-formal/cocktail occasion! :)

This was my backup to my backup for a quasi costume party. The fit was so perfect I wanted to own this dress. Well constructed and comfortable and very flattering especially on a petite frame.

This dress was flattering on my top half and bottom. The A-line cut seems to work really well for petite frames and this was no different. The fabric is thick but holds everything in place, not too hot or heavy as I did wear it to a summer wedding. I highly recommend.

Fit to size- I'm between a 6 and 8... Wore the 8 was very comfortable. Fabric is thick enough but not too thick to be hot.

This dress is so comfortable. The fabric is really stretchy so I had to size down to get a good fit. Overall this dress worked out really well and RTR's customer service was amazing!

Agree with other reviewers that this dress is a bit thick, but it's still incredibly stretchy and flattering and I had no problems whatsoever wearing it to a summer wedding in DC. If you have narrow shoulders like I do, you might find the straps are set a little wide. (I had to use fashion tape to prevent slippage.) It also dips a bit low in the back, you'll either have to wear a lower-back bra or go braless. Because she was in town when I got the rental, my younger sister (with slightly broader shoulders and less of a bust) is pictured alongside me in the photo. She said she loved-loved-loved the dress, would totally buy it if she had the chance, and found it super flattering on her body shape. She's on the right in the 2; I'm on the left in the 0.

I work this to a Black & White themed Summer charity gala and loved it! Very comfortable and form fitting up top, perfect for my fellow pear shaped girls! I just wore a padded strapless bra and it was perfect! The material is a little bit thicker helping it to lay right and was not too large on the bottom as some dresses in this shape tend to be. I would definitely recommend renting it for a Summer evening party, wedding or any black and white themed event!

This dress fit like a glove. Super flattering for hourglass as the bodice goes in and the flair on the skirt is very broad which makes for a high contrast. I really liked the material - thick with the pattern embroidered. Great dress for a formal occasion but also awesome for work.

This dress was lovely though I don't wish I owned it. Great weight/quality to the material, nice pattern (though I think it photographs better than it looks up close), and always a good cut for my body type. But I'm on the larger side for a size 0 and this was a little loose in the straps (hence the bra strap showing as shown in the photo of the back, which was a slight issue throughout the night). Overall, really cute cut and perfect for a summer evening semi-formal wedding.

Casual dress, perfect for a dinner date. I felt good in the dress, it was comfortable and very stretchy in the bust, so it can accomodate larger chested ladies. It kind of swings out a little under the bust, which I didn't think was so flattering, and definitely made me look like I was expecting in some pictures.

The dress was simple and comfortable. The material was not too thick making this a good dress for summer. The cleavage cut was very flattering- even for girls with a smaller chest!

This was my back up dress and I loved it! I was able to wear a regular bra with it, which was awesome. The dress is super flattering - the print and cut really make your waist look small! I did not give it 5 stars because the backs of the shoulder straps gapped a bit, but I had my hair down so it didn't really matter. Overall a great dress!

I wore this dress to a rehearsal dinner. I think the style of this dress was very flattering. The cut was low, but not so low that boobs were everywhere.

The fit was great and the dress was very flattering. Got tons of compliments on it!! The bust of the dress could have been a smidge roomier - but as the next larger size wasn't available when I ordered, I was glad this one could still accommodate my larger chest size. It was also a nice style that could easily be dressed up for a more 'formal' event or dressed down a bit for a more casual party. I highly recommend it!

I wore this dress to work with a black cami under it (it's a little low cut for work) and also a thin black cardigan over it to cover my shoulders. After work I took the cardigan and the cami off and it was perfect for a formal dinner. I love versatile pieces like this, makes you really feel like you're getting your moneys worth! The material is rather thick and it's a super flowy flattering shape. Really enhances curves and makes your waist look slim (who doesn't want that?!) I would definitely rent this again!!

I wore this dress for a daytime wedding, but it's a great versatile dress for any occasion. Could have worn the 6 but the 8 suited my post pregnancy body better. Super fun to dance in and easy to dress up or down.

It wasn't tight enough around the waist, wanted more supper, but it's super cute. If you are on the shorter side, this dress is long and def could be shortened.

The pattern and material look nicer in person. The dress was very flattering in the waist, and hides the hips, but it didn't do me any favors in the upper arm/armpit area where it was kind of tight. I would never have picked this dress were it not an emergency (my order was shipped incorrectly and I had to pick out a last minute outfit from a retail location), but it did good in a pinch.

I intended to wear this to a cocktail party, but mailed it back right away. The dress fits true to size on top (where it is fitted), but was not particularly flattering on top, and was unflattering on bottom. The cut and quantity of material made my lower half look substantially larger than it was, and gave the appearance of a belly. Perhaps if I had sized down it would have been less of an issue, but if you are an hour glass figure be aware that it may not flatter.

I visited RTR's showroom at Henri Bendel in NYC. I was desperate to find a dress for a wedding that next day. After trying on countless dresses, I found two that I liked. Both were badly damaged and thus, I did not want to rent them. I defaulted to this dress which was just okay in my opinion. When I tried it on, I noticed the thread on the dress was snagged all over the place. They offered to fix this for me if I would come back in a few hours to pick up the dress. I did that, and it looked better. I also noticed the dress was suprisingly large on top but the stylist said it would be fine. I had no other choice and a train to catch so I said okay. On the day of, this dress was so large on top that I felt uncomfortable wearing it and showing that much cleavage. I am not even that busty. I didn't end up wearing it out. Super disappointing to have paid $85 for a simple, boring dress that did not even fit well.

This is the dress I tried on, and packed in my luggage to wear! Unfortunately- the airline lost my luggage and I didn't get to wear it or get a photo! It was found - too late for my event. Was super cute though!

Got a ton of compliments in this dress and wore it three times in a week to different things. Very easy to wear and comfortable and does not wrinkle easily. I am not sure if it is the fabric or the silhouette that draws all the compliments- both a great.

This dress was just the right thing to wear to a New Years Eve Party with dinner and dancing. It had just the right amount of flare. The only issue (and not too bad) was the top. I have a small bust and the top was a little large at the shoulders. No problem wore a padded push up and my posture was perfect all night!! Which was great because I am short..

It fit great, and I'm, unfortunately, bottom heavy at the moment. I have a lot of hips and thighs for my small-everywhere-else frame. It is flattering in the waist, and I was able to go without a bra due to the heavier fabric. The fabric has a little stretch to it which I thought was awesome. I think this dress would look fab on any body shape!

The fabric is a little stretchy and it is forgiving. The straps did keep sliding down, but overall it fit well. I wore it with cowboy boots and with the shape, it was super cute. I didn't get a picture but had lots of compliments.

I really liked this dress. It was very comfortable and was perfect for a New Year's Eve house party. The fabric is thick so it was a great time of the year to wear it. I wore a flowy black cardigan over the top that I removed for the party. Overall very cute! The dry cleaning smell was very strange to me. I'm not used to having a scent but this dress had a distinct scent. It also showed up at my house in a ball with the zipper from the bag busted open.

The dress floats out a bit in an A line. I find the shape flattering on my body type but it did make me feel a little young at work (and I'm 23!). Ultimately I liked the cut a lot. I got plenty of compliments as usual. The v neck was not so low that I had to wear anything under it - although I am small chested. I am five foot ten and a lot of leg so this was a bit shorter than I would have liked for work, but I do work in a pretty casual business casual environment and I paired it with a black blazer. Overall I would rent it again. The material is nice and thick so it felt well made. I did keep checking for pockets though as it seemed like it was the perfect dress for them. Hint: there are no pockets. I would definitely rent this dress from rent the runway again as a nice addition to my working wardrobe.

Fabric was a bit slouchy and the dress was cut big all over. Might be better in a smaller size.
