Being a slip, this dress is see through. I wore it to a museum and put a body suit and spandex under it and I got a ton of compliments on the styling. I wouldn't wear it without some kind of layering unless you are taking it out in the evening.

Would buy this dress next time. Perfect for dinners, going out, casual daytime party. I loved the slit and the shape was extremely flattering.

I am typically a M and it fit me but was a bit snug in the hips and stomach area. I made it work though and it was comfortable. Be warned that the side slit goes up pretty high.

The print on this dress is really pretty and unique, and the fabric is high quality. Unfortunately the fit was just weird - straps wouldn't stay up and it bunched up around my waist instead of laying smooth like a typical sheath dress. This dress would probably work best for someone with minimal curves!

The dress is fully sheer. Super cute, but not made for a curvy body type.

Unfortunately, this dress was so tight around my butt that I couldn't wear it. I have virtually no hips but a large butt so I sized up and it still didn't work for me. Very light, sheer fabric, too - was hoping for something a little more substantial.

Material is thin and does not shape to body. Was hoping for a more fitted and structured look. It ended up being a maxi versus midi dress for me as a 5'1 person. Maybe would get a medium next time if the dress were shorter. Will not rent again

Surprisingly flattering on my athletic figure from the front - my waist is 28, hips 34, so far from an hourglass, but this actually clung nicely on my torso. Main issue is: straps were so loose regardless of how much I tightened, they fell off. And bc of my bigger butt/thighs, it wasn't a loose sheath. Was surprisingly not see-through! Didn't wear a bra, no issue.

So the material is not necessarily see through once you put it on (although it looks very sheer when holding it up), but it is SO thin. It feels much more like a nightgown. Just didn't feel very high quality. The fit is also very straight, so it'll either be hugging at curves or a straight/narrow fit for those who are less curvy. For me it was tight/loose in all the wrong places. I could see it working well (TTS) for someone who is tall and narrow. Otherwise, would recommend sizing up to leave some room for curviness! Not a great one for shorties/petites.
