I'm normally a 6 but sized up to the 8 because previous reviews said this dress was very fitted in the chest. (I have a wide ribcage.) The dress fit perfectly! I was specifically looking for a short dress that would be appropriate for a black tie event. I chose this dress because for its unique design and color.

It's a beautiful color and fabric.

The form fitting cut is very flattering. Fabric and ruching make the dress extra special. I would definitely rent it again.

Love this dress once I put it on, it was surprisingly flattering with the ruched detail! It's very pretty with a high fashion twist!

I was very intimidated by this dress, but tried it on anyway. The dress was snug, but it was beautifully made! It hit me just above the knee. I wore a standard bra and some spanx to ensure I didn't have any unwanted bumps! I would rent this dress again, it made me feel sexy and powerful!

It was a beautiful dress and mostly ran true to size, except the bust was TIGHT. I got the 36 (2) and typically wear a 4 (often can fit a 2 if the hips aren't fitted), so I wasn't surprised that it was a bit small, except that it was the tightness in the bust that made it unwearable! This is something that I'm entirely not used to. The hips usually get too tight at least a size (and often more) before the bust even thinks about fitting. There's a horizontal seam that runs right across the middle of the bust which was much tighter than the rest of the bust area, so it was like tying a rope around your bust (smooshy across the middle with bulges on the top/bottom). It really didn't seem like it would fit right even in a larger size, so I somewhat wonder if I just got a dress with issues. The picture really doesn't show the smooshedness going on.

I chose a different for the occasion.

Rented this dress as a backup. It was a bit big on me, and I never got to wear it because the main dress was so beautiful, but definitely would rent it again in a smaller size. The RTR stylist I spoke with did tell me it would be a bit big, so good call on that. Don't have a photo. One thing is that this fabric looks a bit less shimmery than on picture.

This dress is a beautiful pink fabric and for the most part the ruching details are great. It's sexy but appropriate for a wedding or a work cocktail party. I did have a few issues with it though. The shoulder straps were too long for me (which I fixed with tape), and it gapped a bit in the chest area - I think you need at least a B cup for it to look right. (Or maybe a smaller size.) Also, the ruching in the belly area is a bit poochy. Finally, if you are going to wear Spanx make sure they aren't the shorty-short type. Mine rode up my legs a bit and I realized at the end of the evening you could see the line where the dress hugged in the back. Overall, I thought the dress looked very good, but not fantastic.

Loved the look of this dress but it does run small. According to the rep, the sizes online were wrong but I'm not sure which was right...either they sent me the wrong back up size or the ones on here are correct. Either way, I would say it runs small but it also has a plunging neckline. I'm short waisted so this made it not an option...either the neckline was below my chest OR the shoulder straps were popping up an inch. Bummer bc it is beautiful!

This dress can be worn to any formal event. Beautiful fabric and design, but the fit is a little strange. I read other reviews which said that the dress ran way too small. I would agree that the dress runs small, but ONLY in one area--the chest! The rest of the dress was very BAGGY, especially in the stomach/bodice (which is usually a problem area for me). I couldn't believe it was actually baggy... Although I sized down to a 38 for the fit of the bodice, the chest area was way too small (as I have a 34D), but I somehow got away with it. The stitching which is supposed to go under your boobs came across the center of my chest, but you could not notice. Overall, I really liked this dress--even though the original size didn't work out, and my boobs were smooshed in a bit ;) Definitely get a backup size!

This was the first dress I ordered from Rent the Runway. I typically wear a size 2 or 4 but after receive two other dresses from this site I realized that designer dresses run big and will be renting 0 from now on. The size two fit fine on the top, although cut much lower than it looks on the model, but very baggy around the hips. Rent the Runway was great about sending a back up dress that ended up working out.

Unfortunately - couldn't zip it up. I think you have to have a cup size AA to fit this dress.

The dress is very snug, might want to go a size up. Also, the one I got has holes in it from someone pinning probably a corsage onto it. It's pretty, but it's a stretchy cotton, so it's not ideally and evening dress.
