I rented the 40 cuz the 38 wasn't available, so it was a little loose, but still worked. Very classy with a little sass.

Hugged my cures and still felt super comfy. It's made of a stretchy breathable cotton fabric This retro sexy dress turned a lot of heads I'm 5 feet 8 inches and it stopped at my knee. I was able to wear a regular good supportive bra. It made my bottom, legs and waist look epic

Vintage feel to the style, only drawback was the sheer piece in the middle was coming apart at the bottom, wasn't too noticeable

Size 8 was perfect - the fabric is thin, stretchy, and fits tightly in the hips, but something about it is very flattering - I am not someone who can wear tight jersey cotton dresses but this thin but crisp cotton looked great. The top is a bit poofy, but cute. I liked the lace panel in the middle but note that it shows your cleavage/bra especially if you are curvy, so I wore a tight black tank underneath for my daytime event with family.

True to size, sexy, great quality,the black lace insert is truely feminine, sweet touch, the whimsical pattern/cut was so different, AND I LOVE DIFFERENT, that is why Rent the Runway is so amazing, I can afford top fashion for a day!

This has been my favorite rental. The sleeves made my arms look so slim and the dress fit perfectly.

This is such a flattering and classy dress. It hugs in all the right areas, and gives you a great combo of sexy and classy. I would rent this again.

It was very fitted on top and had stretch in the skirt. You can see your bra through the lace so you either have to go bra-less or wear something pretty underneath.

I rented this dress for a rehearsal dinner, and absolutely loved it. The fabric of the dress was beautiful and flattering, I felt comfortable all night in it. The one thing to be careful of for the fit, is that the top part of this dress runs small and is far less stretchy than the bottom half. I am smaller in my waist/bust than hips, so it was fine for me, but I would not recommend this dress to anyone who has a proportionally larger waist/chest area, as the dress might not fit right!

Didn't like it until I tried it on. It has a very old school vintage glam look and was perfect for my friends wedding. Material is thin and light so I wasn't hot at all. So many compliments on the dress. The black lace down the middle is see through so my bra showed a little but I didn't care wasn't that noticeable. I would totally rent this again.

I am curvy and the fit was amazing. Fabric very forgiving and accommodating making it comfortable for any event. Fabric is also very lightweight, which requires a slip/spanx/etc. Great for warmer weather. Highly recommended....

I'm a petite gal and this hit me at the mid calf - which usually is not a very flattering length but this dress fit like a glove and so ended up being super flattering. cute details

I thought I would wear an 8 but got the backup size of 6. The 6 fit perfect because the top in the 8 was too big. This dress is perfect for those with small chest and bigger hips. I was pleasantly surprised on how it made my butt look perfect. It really does make your figure very "hourglass" I wore it to a convention in Vegas and it was the perfect daytime dress. I felt very sexy and feminine. I can't believe I did not get a picture in it! I did wear spanx because I am paranoid like that.

It fit poorly on me. It was a bit small in the chest and too big in the hips. I could not wear it unfortunately. I loved it otherwise.

It showed every curve in my body! I was well noticed, all night long.

This dress has an interesting, hip hugging pattern. It was a little long on me (I'm very petite) but was flattering on my body and has a funky hem line, which made it conservative enough for church and sexy enough for the party afterward. It has a sweet cap-sleeve that it flattering to the arms and also has a sexy lace insert going down the chest. The downsides were that the lace was getting a bit torn and the dress was a bit too long, but the impeccable cut of it made up for the length--I just wore some high heels. Highly recommend for something out of the ordinary.

This dress is amazing! The fit is great for anyone who wants to enhance their curves. Potential issues might be for anyone with a large bust or broad shoulders. I almost always wear a 0 but I could not even zip it half way. I went with the 2 and I think I could have even used a 4 because the hips section is stretchy and wasn't much bigger than the 0. The extra space in the chest would have been helpful. That being said, it is a beautiful dress. It is quite long (about knee length on me and I'm 5"10) so if you are super short, this may not be what you are looking for. I felt classy in it for my work holiday party but just sexy enough that I felt great in it.

It is very flattering. For me, a 42 was a bit too large - too big in the bust and it rode up quite a bit when I walked. But it was comfortable - a 40 would have been too small, I think - I am 5'8", 145 lbs, 34B. Nice, lightweight fabric, great for a summer event. Make sure you have skin-colored undergarments as anything dark will show through. The top part has a beautiful lace seam down the front that is sheer, sexy but very ladylike. Simply put, fits well, flattering and comfy. My only issue was that it rode up when I walked, and the top was just a bit too big. Otherwise, great.

The fabric is thick and stretchy with more of a canvasy texture. I didn't realize the print was little flowers. I was expecting more of a vintagey look but it really looked more like a tea party dress. The lacing up the middle was torn on the size that fit, leaving a gaping hole in my midsection so I couldn't wear. I think this dress would look great on someone who is taller or has a long torso.

This dress was way too tight on my 32DD bust, though the waist was perfect. I also found the armholes too tight, making it difficult to lift my arm. My back up size was a larger, but still tight on the bust and hit me mid-calf. I'm 5'4" and prefer dresses that hit at the knee or slightly above. I had to return this as it just didn't work for me, though I think if you had a smaller bust it would be great - it was very flattering from the bust down.

What a joy to wear a dress that is so impeccably made as this one. It is very flattering and rather forgiving. 5 Stars.

It was too large, but that's because my size wasn't available, and I ordered the size 10. The dress is super cute and sexy--very vintage looking. The only drawback is that it is longer than I expected and the print has little flowers, so it's more of an everyday dress or baby shower dress than something to wear to work or a wedding. I wore a nude bra and did not have any trouble with the sheer part on the chest.

I have rented many dresses from rent the runway and loved each one but once I got this I was dissapointed. The fabric was sheer and it looked inside out. The hem lines were freying. It looked so much nicer in the web site.
