I felt so good in this! I have a belly but the black and velvet helped hide it and THE SLIT takes the show. Shows curves and the high neck gives good dramatic effect paired with all the leg you'll be showing. So many compliments.

This dress is amazing! I wish I could have kept it. It was very comfortable, made me feel super sexy and fit like a glove. After having a bambino (5 months post body), I didn't know how sizing would work for me. So I chose a design with a backup option. It did not disappoint.

I’m normally a size small and sometimes XS, and while the XS worked great, I honestly feel like I could have gone XXS with this dress. However, it really wasn’t an issue because it did fit so comfortably, and I loved it so much I considered buying it. The slit is indeed high, but it was the perfect length for my average length legs and long torso. I agree with other reviews that the arms are slightly long, but that didn’t bother me at all. The velvet material is so soft and warm but the slit allowed for it to be breathable. I wore it to a black tie champagne & caviar party and it was a hit. This dress is a dream for the tall girlies. Highly recommend!

I was so happy with how this dress fit! It was warm and sexy. The sleeves were long so I folded them under but was very happy overall. Wore to a gala and was perfect w the purse I also rented.

I would love to keep this dress - it would make a good black dress staple. Extremely comfortable. It has a bit of stretch and is surprisingly forgiving. Be careful with nylons and shapewear as the slit in the front is quite high. I paired it with some tights with control top and you could just barely see the control top when sitting down. I would rent again. Great with statement jewelry.

I ordered this dress not too sure what to expect. The dress fit me perfectly. I wore the XL and it fit me perfectly. The attire was formal and the dress was perfect for the occasion. I loved the slit because it showed a little skin but was not too revealing. I didn't like sitting in the dress, but standing it was fine. The split is technically almost on the side of the dress versus the front.

I was very nervous to wear this dress because the slit is VERY high. I sent photos to multiple people, who encouraged me to wear it to an exhibition opening! I did wear it, with tights, and it went very well. I was surprised how confident I felt in it.

The fabric and construction are very nice, but the slit it way too high or the waist is too short - either way it doesn’t work.

As you could see from the picture, not super flattering on my pear shape. But the dress is STUNNING and thick. As someone who is shorter, the arms on the large were so baggy. Maybe the M would have worked but, would have been even tighter on my mid section.

Thought I’d love this one but just didn’t do anything for me or my body. Probably could have sized down and felt differently

Cannot recommend this dress enough!! Wore to a late November wedding in NJ and it was the perfect dress. Super flattering, especially in the midsection. The slit is quite high, but I only noticed while sitting with my leg crossed over; wasn't an issue on the dance floor.

I got the size large and the size medium. I ended up wearing the size medium because the large was a little loose in the stomach to top area and I wanted a more tight fitting dress. The hips were a little tight in the medium but with the high leg slit there was no issues with moving around and there was stretch.

Fit really well but probably not for bustier girls.
