I rented the Lace Pirouette Dress for the RTR launch of Our Runway, and brought my mom as my plus one. It was a super fun night of female empowerment! The Dress is very fun and girly, I am 5'4 so it was a bit longer on me than it looked on the model, but still fell above the knee and looked great!

This dress was very cute. I got several compliments on it. It was a little tight on the top, but not so it was uncomfortable. The zipper also stuck which made it difficult to get on. The bottom of the dress was great, the tulle over the lace is really pretty and interesting. The sweater material on top makes it a little more casual, I wore it to an outdoor party, but it could be dressed up too. Overall really liked it.

Loved this dress and got a ton of compliments. I typically wear a small and I needed to size up to a medium. The dress was very comfortable. I do have a short torso so bunched a little in the back, but not too badly.

A fun mix of fabrics: a sweater-weight top, a lace skirt, and tulle overlay. I was a little surprised by how much tulle there was, but it was long enough to lie flat and therefore avoid the tutu look. I did have to smooth it down every time I got up from sitting. It was very snug and fitted around the waist (zips up the back), but that didn't stop me from eating a full brunch! The bodice is a bit bare on its own, but makes a nice backdrop for a long necklace.

It is so rare that I find a dress from RTR dissapointing, but this one definitely was. The tulle on the skirt was bunched up from packaging. Even after trying to even it out, it looked age-inappropriate and felt awkward. The sweater top also bunched up on me but that's because I have a short waist. I made the mistake of not trying the dress on immediately, which I won't do again. Therefore, I had to forego customer service for assistance. My bad. I'm glad it worked for other reviewers, but my husband said it best when he said "a 30 year old should not be wearing a little kid's tutu."
