My best friend (in the polka dots, pictured) got married this past November and we used this dress in the wedding party! All the bridesmaids wore them and they were stunning! It was true to size and everyone loved them!! I definitely recommend this dress for any formal event. Lovely!!!

The length was perfect with heels (I'm 5'4). It was a little loose on the bust- I wear a small C and I ended up needing to tape myself in. The dress was incredibly flattering and flowy. It was very easy to wear and fun to dance in. It was youthful and beautiful but also classy enough for a formal occasion. I couldn't have picked a better dress for this event!

I wore this dress to my friend's sorority formal and received so many compliments on it! I normally wear a 4 in dresses and this one was a little bit big up top, but I wore a bra with it and it fit perfectly. I ordered the 4L and the dress was still a little bit short, but I had planned on wearing flats anyways so it wasn't a problem. I received so many compliments that night, and still 3 days later people are telling me they loved my dress and how stunning i looked in it! I absolutely recommend this dress!

I wore this dress out to dinner with my husband during our late Valentine's Day celebration. My husband was parking the car, so I was sitting and waiting at the front of the restaurant for him. This was a nice but not strictly fancy dress restaurant, so people were walking past and literally stopping in their tracks to compliment me. I was told "You look like a moviestar from a bygone era." It felt fantastic! The bustline is very complimentary for a small busted lady, and the color was great for a pale redhead. :)

It was quite comfortable. Very elegant, but not overdone. I did use some dress tape to keep the bust up and I did order the long, because of other reviews. I wore about a 4 inch heel and the long barely touched the ground. Worked out beautifully! Recommend!

I thought the color would be a little more pale pink, it was more nude. I loved the hint of shimmer in the dress though!

fit snugly on top and moved freely around the rest of me - cluch for a long night involving eating and drinking. You need to be careful about how breasty you can get though - I had a few moments where I would have arrayed myself more modestly.

I loved this dress! It was light and easy to dance in. I am 5'4" and the petite was just a little long with flats but nothing terrible. I ordered a 2P and 4P, both fit about the same overall but the two was just a little bit tighter in the bust area so I decided to wear that. Even wearing the smaller of the sizes though the top kept slipping down (I'm a 34 A on a good day) but double sided tape kept it up fairly well. The dress was a little worn but no one noticed! Overall I loved the dress!

I wore this dress to my senior boyfriend's prom. I had rented this dress with the intention that I would find a much prettier dress for my own prom next year, but when I received this dress, I quickly realized that it would be hard to beat. This dress is simple, yet so elegant and glitters in any light. I kept getting compliments about the color and the style -- works with nude pumps and a statement necklace. When my boyfriend saw me, he was speechless. :)

I absolutely loved wearing this dress to my boyfriend's prom! I'm bout 5'9 and wore heels so the long was definitely needed. The only problem that I had with it was in the chest area, I had to keep pulling it up a bit so my bra wouldn't peak out from under the dress. Other than that it was absolutely stunning! I loved that it looked different than a normal prom dress, it was much more elegant. Pink is probably my least favorite color but I LOVED the color of this gown. I would say its darker than what a normal pink looks like, almost looks like a nuetral. I wore gold accesories with nude heels and its flowed perfectly. The metallic on the dress makes pictures look beautiful. Definitely will use rent the runway again!

I am a 12 in pretty much any dress I wear, and I wore this dress in 12L as well. I am 5'9" and wore flat shoes with the long size. I could have worn a small heel though. This dress arrived exactly as I pictured it would. It was VERY wrinkled, so I hung it in the bathroom with the shower on hot, and the wrinkles came out just fine. As others have mentioned, it runs small in the bust. Not tight, but just no room for your chest. I felt a bit exposed and pulled the dress up all night long. I am a 36D. I went with gold jewelry and shoes, but it can easily be worn with silver.

I really loved this dress. I wore it for prom and was pleasantly surprised at how flowy and light it was! The strands of gold and silver completely stood out. The 2P fit very well. The length was perfect. The only problem I had with it was the top fitting correctly, but I expected that. The bust was pretty loose, even with a padded strapless bra and the dress required plenty of pulling up. Regardless, I loved it! Looks absolutely awesome with a tan! Oh, and I wore 4in heels!

This dress is absolutely gorgeous. I wore it to a formal military ball and it was perfect - sparkly enough for a girly girl like me, yet classy enough to be fit for the occasion! The material was much lighter and flowier than I was expecting, but I didn't mind it one bit. Like others have said, it is a little tight on the bust, even for a B-girl cup like me. I wore 4" heels and the length was perfect.

As others have said it does run a little bit small in the bust and I would seriously encourage using double sided tape so you don't have to pull your dress up the whole night.

this dress was so gorgeous and i was always comfortable in it. i'm 5'4" and wore 5 inch heels and the regular back up size was too short so the long worked the best! there were a couple rips in the dress because the fabric is so sheer but it wasn't noticeable to other people. you could also tell the bust was a little messed with but again no one else would notice. i had to use the tape in some areas, but the dress was pretty true to size

As a first time RTR member I was a little skeptical about ordering this dress. I was so unsure of the colors of this dress and I felt like it was too pale. However when I saw the pictures other women have posted wearing this dress, I decided to rent it. I AM SO GLAD I DID! I loved it, the length was perfect with my 4 inch gold heels and it LOOKED incredible ( Oh don't be discouraged with the heels I chose, I could have worn 2 inch heels and it wouldn't have hit the floor). THE only little things I did NOT like were how I kept pulling it up while dancing, be careful with what bra you want to wear it with! Oh and the stitches of gold and silver were lifting up which wasn't something noticeable in the pictures but after I looked closer at the dress I saw them coming out, maybe the dress I got was loved a little too much.

I rented this dress for prom and it was a sucess! The fit was perfect besides my small chest and me constantly having to pull it up. But that just comes with most strapless dresses for me! I also ordered the 2P but the quality of the dress was very poor and faded looking. It had a big tear on the bottom and the sequin details looked like they were fraying. But the 0R was much newer, just by being able to look at it. I wore atleast 5 inch heels so the dress wouldnt be too long, but it was so worth it! I got tons of compliments and it was certainly a night to remember!

I loved loved loved this dress! I ordered it last year for my prom and it was a last resort because the other dress I wanted was all book. But thank goodness for that because I ended up with this dress. The color in the picture really doesnt do justice to the color of the dress, its a beautiful pink and the sequins really do show in the picture. I would say it fits true to size, I am a 32DD and way around 120 and the 2 was perfect. Definitely worth it!

This dress was really pretty in person; a cool toned pink with gold and silver running throughout it. I wore this to my sorority's informal presents. The 2P was perfect length for me since I am 4'11 and I wore 5 1/4 inch heels. Since my bra size is 30B, the bust was a tad big for me. There wasn't a 0P to order as a backup when I was ordering and the 0R wasn't available too. The 2P was still wearable as I used tape and pinned it in 3 different places. I still held on to my dress as I walked since I was afraid of stepping on it and pulling it down. All in all, I was very satisfied with this dress. It lived up to all my expectations but I wish I had ordered size 0P or even 0R.

Because I rented the dress a bit late, the only sizes avaliable were 2L and 4L. That didn't really work because i'm a 0R-2R but i really wanted this dress! When i recieved the dress the only thing that surprised me was the color. The picture shows a very light pink; almost a baby pink. I have a tan complexion and it made the dress seem almost a blush pink, not complaining though. The dress fit perfectly and I didn't seem to have much of a problem with it except for the fact that it was too long but that's only because i rented longer than i needed. If I would have gotten 2R that I wanted, the dress would have been perfect down to the last detail. If you want a dress that makes you feel perfect everytime you look into the mirror, this is absolutely it. It was hard knowing I had to send it back but I will definitely be renting this again!

This dress is beautiful in person! The color of the fabric is much more vibrant than in the picture. The dress is simple and light, yet not at all plain--the gold and silver thread is very eye-catching. I'm quite tan, and it contrasted my skin tone perfectly...I received compliments all night! I would definitely recommend this one.

I really loved this dress and felt great in it, but it was too tight in the chest area. I ended up going braless which helped, but I also had to continually hike it up the whole night so as not to have a mishap. I usually wear a 6-8 and got an 8L which was about 1 inch too long in 3 inch heels, but manageable. If you're over 5 foot 5 and plan on wearing heels, I would definitely get a long. All in all, I received so many compliments and loved how I looked in pictures.

This was my backup dress, and I ended up using it in a photo shoot as opposed to wearing it to my event. This dress is a dusty pink with beautiful sequins; it's lightweight and airy. Perfect for summer! It's a very flattering dress, but busty women beware: I had to pull this dress up every five minutes! It definitely shows off the girls- maybe a little too much. THIS DRESS RUNS REALLY SHORT. I am wearing a 12L in this picture and it was still a little too short, but all in all a beautiful dress!

Overall, I loved how the dress looked. It looks beautiful in pictures, for sure! However, a few minor details made the dress annoying at times. I am 5'6" and I wore flats, but the dress was still too short. I would definitely get the long version if you are above 5'5". Also, the dress was hard to keep up the entire night. It was too small in the bust area in the front, but the dress was too loose in the back. But overall, this dress was great. I received countless compliments the entire night!

I ordered a 12L and thank goodness I went with the long. It was almost too short and I imagine the regular would've been way too short. The dress fit well but the top was way too small and just too revealing for a wedding. The staff was super helpful getting a new one overnighted. Definitely a much better fit in the chest. I was a bit disappointed with how much is rolled down at the top. I needed to keep my shawl on longer than I had hope but overall I was happy with the dress and my first renting experience! Definitely renting again.

I loved this dress and got tons of compliments! It's perfect for any formal affair- I wore it to my sorority's formal. The dress was just shiny enough with out being too flashy. I couldn't be happier with Rent the Runway or how easy it was to use.

I wore this at 9 months pregnant, was not sure what size I would be. The dress had some small threads sticking out but fit beautifully. If you are tall definitely order the long because it was still not long enough, but it could also be that I have a huge bump.

This gown was perfect for a black tie wedding. It was more elegant on than it looks in the model picture. I especially loved the blush color and how it has both gold and silver accents, making it very easy to accessorize. My only complaint is that the top kept curling and so I was constantly tugging at it to keep it up. I have a few pictures with my black bra showing :/

I felt like the belle of the ball. The dress is super easy to accessorize because it has silver and gold sequence running down the dress. I chose to wear a gold and pearl necklace with gold bangles and it turned out really well. For shoes I went with nude heals and that worked well too!! The only issue is if you are even a little busty it can be difficult to wear because the chest area seems to run a little small. I'm a 34 C and was worried about falling out a little bit. But the tape they included with the dress worked really well!
