I wore this dress to my brother's wedding when I was 6 months pregnant, and I've never had so many compliments. I probably could have gone a size up from my normal 4 (due to bigger boobs, not the dress), but it allowed plenty of room for my bump and was very comfortable. I'm 5'8 and had on 4+ inch heels and the L was perfect. My only comment is it's a little more subdued in color than in the photo, but still very pretty!

I wore this to my last summer wedding (I've had about 5 or 6 and used RTR for each one)! I was SO in love with it and so was everyone else. It fit perfectly and I was very happy with the length overall. It covered my feet but didn't drag under my feet. I'm 5'9 3/4 (so roughly 5'10) and the long size with 3in wedges had me at a perfect length. Everyone complimented me on the dress and asked where I'd gotten it. The only problem is the silver threading in the dress - you can see it's missing a bit in some of the spots.

All I have to say is this dress is 10000000x more amazing in person! I'm usually a ten but the 8 fit perfectly so keep that in mind

I liked that the dress had a nice silhouette. For me personally, the bust area was a but loose, but I could still wear it comfortably. The main thing I noticed with the dress was that it looked darker in person, mostly darker blues and not a lot of gray, as shown. Overall, great dress.

I wore this for my sorority formal. I usually wear an 8 but wound up going with the 10 because I'm tall and it was a bit longer. It was really comfortable, very easy to move around and dance in!

The length of this dress was perfect with my heels. My only issue was with the bust. I'm a small B and I had to wear inserts for this dress not to fall completely off my body. The 2 was a little big but I always order my size and one down so the 0 was perfect! But it was great to move around in and I felt very comfortable given the shape of the dress. Other than my earrings I kept the accessories to a minimum given the beautiful pattern of the dress!

This was the first time I had used RTR, and I took a while to decide on what I wanted. This was also the first time I had worn a strapless dress, so I was nervous about keeping it up, since I am very small busted. The dress was beautiful when I got it. It was more vibrant than it looked in the picture. I did have some difficulty keeping the dress up, so I used safety pins, but I think that would happen to me no matter what. I got a ton of compliments all night. I will definitely use RTR again.

The dress was very true to size and the long was perfect! It didn't hit the floor exactly how I thought it would be it still looked amazing! It was very comfortable!

I was surprised when I tried on the dress how it fit so well. It hugged me in all the right places and it wasn't too tight or too loose. It was a great length once I put heels on and rent the runway made it fast and easy!

Such a gorgeous print and the colors are even better in person. Loved it!

I wore this dress for a wedding at the Fairmont in San Francisco. It was a black tie affair and this dress was great. I rented this dress a few years ago, it was my first experience with RTR and it was fabulous. I definitely recommend this dress.

I rented this dress for fall wedding while 5 1/2 months pregnant, and it fit well (but probably not a few weeks from now!). Because of my larger "chest equipment" I went a size up to a 4, which was a little long on me, but otherwise fit everywhere else. I got so many compliments on the dress :) One thing I will say about the colors is that there is more green/turquoise in the pattern than it looks from the online photo. This was fine, but it just surprised me a little as I was expecting mainly blue and black. Great dress!

I wore this on a very warm summer night and it was just wonderful. It fit very well, covered my problem area (tummy) and was light weight. I was never nervous about it slipping. I highly recommend it!

I am usually a size 4, i read the reviews and ordered a size 2 and it fit me perfectly. This dress was nice, but there was a lot of excess material, it did look like a bit of a sack (not an elegant shape) on. But i suppose this is good to hide under right?

I absolutely love this dress. I was highly satisfied with the fit. I am a size 4 but I am tall and the length was perfect. The bust area was a wonderful fit and rested nicely. When the light hits the dress it had a shimmer to it that is hard to miss adds to the overall dress. No complaints here! :)

I wore this to a beach wedding and it was perfect! It fit well in the bust and was perfectly flow-y. Very comfortable for a strapless dress as well.

I rented this dress for a charity gala... perfect was great in a sea of black. The only reason I gave one star short of perfection is because I have a larger bust which made it a lil bold without a shawl :)

This dress is gorgeous! So silky and beautiful! Unfortunately, RTR had called me and let me know that my original size was unavailable. They still sent the smaller size but it didn't fit in the bust area. As others have said, it does run small on top. But a beautiful dress and I would definitely rent it again!

The dress was very pretty, but not as vibrant as the photo. Also, the fabric isn't satin like I thought that it was going to be but it was still nice. The long was a bit too long for me... I wasn't planning on wearing heels, but I ended up needing to. Overall I was happy with the dress.

This is a beautiful dress but for those with large bust (C and up) order a size up. The stylist told me this dress was true to size, and suggested I order a 10 to make room for my ‘ladies’ but the 10’s were sold out, so I took my chances and went with the 8. I was able to tuck the gals in- but the amount of cleavage I had was way too much for the family wedding I would be attending with my boyfriend and his parents. I will absolutely order this dress for my next beach vacation, but in the correct size.

The dress is very pretty, although it didn't look like it should sell for $495 retail. Still, the rent price was quite worth it. The dress was made out of a light fabric, so it didn't really fall throughout the night -- a blessing, since it is strapless. I'm a 34C and 140lb and the size 6R fit snugly and looked great in the chest area. The structure of the dress concealed any lovehandles or problem tummy areas in a beautiful, flow-ey way without adding bulk. The one issue I had with the dress was the length. I am 5'5", but the dress was too short to wear with the new 3' heels I got for the occasion. In the end, I wore relatively small 2' heels and even those had my toes showing a bit. I guess I was expecting it to be much longer, since it seems long on the model. Nonetheless, a great dress! It came in a huge box (somewhat unnecessary, since it could be folded carefully to a much more compact size), with a bunch of other trinkets like a free razor, free fashion tape sampler, free makeup remover sampler, free garment bag and the hanger was yours to keep. The return envelope was pre-labeled, all I did was literally throw the envelope with the dress in the mail the next day. The customer service was okay. I tried calling a handful of times and finally got through. The call wait time is super long, no matter when I called. I suppose this is because, as a small company, they can only have one person manning the phones at a time. Advice to rent the runway: get unpaid fashion interns to man the calls! Still, probably will rent from rent the runway again. :)

really cute and flattering. i'm 5'8" and ordered the regular 10 and long 10. the regular is too short if i wanted to wear heels. even if i was to wear sandals, it's a bit short. long for sure is the way to go. i think this would work well on many different body types.

This dress is a true beauty and I loved the color combination that took it easily from afternoon into a formal evening. The only issue I had was that it seemed pretty loose. I'm normally an 8/10, but wore this in a 6 (and I was still tugging it up all night). I think this was because my chest is slightly smaller in proportion with the rest of my body, so def. size down for your second dress if you have a similar chest/waist/hip ratio.

I have a large chest, so I rented the dress one and TWO sizes larger than I normally wear (usually a 6- rented an 8 & 10). When I received the dress, I was so happy- it was absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately the top was too tight on my chest for me to feel comfortable to wear it. It squeezed my chest tightly together resulting in too much cleavage for a family wedding. I would definitely recommend this dress, but I would say it isn't for a full-busted woman.

I had been eyeing this dress for awhile and was hesitant to order it because I usually have a hard time with strapless dresses. Unfortunately, both the size 4 and 6 were too small in the bust for me. What a gorgeous dress, it would have been tons of fun to wear!

Wore the other Nicole Miller dress and thought this would have same fit but it didn't. I was kind of dissapointed. Did not like it at all had a weird looking train in the back.

I didn't like the fabric as much in person. Wore a different dress.

If your event is not formal this is a better choice...I was going to a formal and even if it had fit it was not good for the occasion. The top was too small around my boobs. I am not small but not super big but I was squeezed in the top. I thought the material would have more shine but it didn't.
