The dress fit so perfectly and I didn't have to wear spanx or suck in my stomach at all. The length was perfect with 4" heels and it was so light-weight and breezy. The color was beautiful, too! I'm sorry I couldn't find the full length pic, but this photo shows how the top of the dress looked. Gorgeous dress!!

Perfect for my prom :) The dress fit true to size and was longer in the back than the front, great for showing off a pair of heels!

This was ,y first RTR experience. It was love at first dress. Everything was super fast and convienent. I rented for a black tie wedding and loved how this dress was formal but still comfortable.

It runs completely true to size and was very comfortable. I was worried I would be tugging it up all night since it was strapless, but that wasn't a problem. Loved this dress and would definitely order it again. I highly recommend it!

The length worked well with heels on. I had to pull it up a few times, but I always have trouble with strapless dresses, so I don't think it had anything to do with the fit. I have a pretty hourglass figure, and I think this dress would work well on anyone. The lining was pretty static when I first put it on, but didn't prove too problematic. Overall, a wonderful dress!

At nine months pregnant I attended a black-tie gala and was worried about finding a dress to wear. Aside from my growing belly, my bust and rib cage had also grown so it was a bit of a challenge. After pouring through several RTR dresses I decided to order this one due to the empire waist and beautiful color. When the dress arrived it fit prefectly up top and gave me plenty of room in the belly. I wore flats to the event and because of my belly bump the dress skimmed the ground in the front but was a little long in the back. Obviously wouldn't have had that problem with heels. I received TONS of compliments all night and felt beautiful in the dress. I would definitely recommend this dress to anyone, pregnant or not!

This dress was GORGEOUS. I wore it to my junior prom and the color was absolutely perfect for a spring/summer affair. The size was dead on and the fit was super slimming. I got so many compliments-would highly suggest this dress to anyone!

I wore this to prom and got so many compliments. I wore 4 inch heels and length was perfect, but a little long when I was barefoot. Has a small train. The color is amazing, its purplish blue. It was a little big on top but I didn't wear a bra with it. Definitely recommend it!

The construction of this dress is wonderful and I would describe it as "blueberry" colored. If it weren't for the delightful construction, I might have ended up looking like one if I had worn another dress in this color! More structure and material at the top keeps everything in -- My upper body is my problem section but the boning smoothed everything out and was not at all tight or uncomfortable. I have a smaller bust so I was able to shove a VS miraculous bra in with room to spare. The bustier and skirt meet to enhance a small waist (or in my case, create one). The billowy layers of chiffon hid the poochy part of my tummy and made me feel like I was gracefully floating on in when I made my entrance. I also didn't have to yank the top up while i was getting down (which sometimes happens with strapless dresses.) As everyone else mentioned, you will get many compliments and you will easily have one of the most memorable dresses at the event!

This is really a gorgeous dress! I wore it to homecoming and got so many compliments! The color of the dress is alittle different than how it appears online. Its alittle more blue, but it still has purple tint to it. Overall i was extremely happy with my rent the runway purchase!

This dress fit me perfectly (even length wise, with 3" heels). I was so happy with the dress, which I wore to an October wedding, and I would love to wear it again. The color is actually more of a deep blueish purple, and the way the fabric wraps at the top is exquisite. I sometimes have issues because my ribcage is a little wider, but I ordered the 0R and had no issues.

I rented this for a black tie charity thing and it was great! I needed to wear the larger size bc of my chest (I'm a D) but if you have a smaller chest it's probably true to size. It also wasn't as long as I thought it would be, I was able to wore 2.5" heels and it was perfect length (I am 5'2"). It is extremely figure flattering. It wrinkles a little, but you can't really tell bc the fabric has a lot of movement. The color is amazing!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE LOVE this dress. I am 3 months pregnant with my second child (so I look like I did at 4.5 months with my first) and had to find a gown for a black tie affair. I did NOT want to spend a ton of money on a dress I'd never wear again. This dress was so perfect... I am a size 4 in my real life, but with pregnancy (bigger chest, a belly, and some extra junk in the trunk) the 8 was completely comfortable and looked amazing. It is perfect for anyone who doesn't love their midsection or hips because it has a lot of extra fabric and draping, but also goes straight down, so it doesn't make your hips look bigger than they are. The top is fitted, and just at the bottom of the rib cage, becomes loose. The color is so rich, and much more beautiful than it looks online. I tried on the 8R and the 8L as I am 5'6 and so, according to the fit specialist, on the borderline. I wore 3 inch heels, and the long was too long, while the regular was perfect. Also, about RTR in general... This was my first renting experience, and I am a customer for life. The first dress I chose actually got taken out of circulation 2 weeks before my event (due to fabric fading), and the customer service was ridiculously good. Emily stayed on the phone with me finding dresses for me to look at based on my unique sizing. They said they would rent me a dress of any price for the same price as my original choice, and they ended up sending me four dresses, including (1) the backup size of my original dress - which was too big, (2 and 3) Two sizes of this dress, and (4) a same day - actually 1 hour - deliver (in NYC) of a third size in this dress. I LOVE RTR, and this dress was AMAZING! Thanks! PS - The stats below are my normal stats, not what I was when I wore this dress. When I wore it, due to pregnancy, I was a 34D, 144 pounds, apple shaped.

I ordered the dress in an 8 and ended up having to safety pin the bust of the dress so that it would be snug enough for dancing without worrying about constantly pulling the top up. I ordinarily wear a 6-8 in dresses (36-26-28) and because the dress is strapless, I should've ordered down a size. The color and style of the dress, however, was absolutely perfect and I received many compliments! I wore this dress to a formal ball at West Point Military Academy. The weight of the dress material is heavy enough that it "hangs" well on the body - very flattering. The top is structured very nicely and has boning ike a corset.

Absolutely LOVED the dress! I wore it to my prom! Everyone loved the pretty color and it was simple but with pretty details with the train. I would suggest getting the longer dress choice if you are 5'6" and plan to wear heels that are 4" or higher, also it came wrinkled so having a steamer is a good thing to have!

The whole dress was great, the top fit beautifully and the waist flowed nicely. I would be careful because there is a slight train at the end that can get stepped on easily but other than that it was a fantastic dress!

This dress was amazing! I got this as a backup dress and was so happy that I did! So lovely! I didn't think that the model photo was anything special, but the user photos won me over quickly. I wore a 2R (I'm 5'6, 130 lbs, and 32C)... the chest was very tight because it has no give, but do-able for me. I normally wear a 4, which wasn't available, so I knew I was pushing my luck anyways. Luckily, the dress is flowy so only the chest size really matters. The length, as other reviewers mentioned, was short. If you're my height, you MUST wear flats, and anyone over 5'6 should definitely order the Long, not regular. The length is the only reason I have rated it as "runs small." Beautiful dress, I highly recommend it!

This is a gorgeous dress! I rented this for prom and I loved it. it was really light. But it was a bit too long for me.

I rented this dress for a prom, and could not have been happier! The color is closer to purple than blue in my opinion, but it does photograph more blue, if that makes sense. I rented the 4R and 2R, and ended up wearing the 2 because I don't have a big bust size at all. Because I'm a 34A, I did have to pull up the dress throughout the night while dancing, but some dress tape would have fixed that. The length was perfect for me (I'm about 5 foot 5.5) and I wore about 1.5-2 inch heels. Overall, I got SO many compliments on my dress, and I'd rent it again in a second!

LOVED this dress! The fabric and color are so beautiful. It was so feminine and flowy and pretty. It does have a mini train so just something to be aware of depending on the type of event you are attending. RTR could not have been any easier to use!

The dress fits to your bust size, i.e. I'm an A cup and wear a size 2 in Nicole Miller even though I'm a sie 4 or 6 pant size. To be honest the two dresses I wanted weren't available so I chose this as a backup and it ended up being beautiful - the color is really lovely and its very flattering, worked wonderfully for a black tie event. I was nervous about using RTR for the first time but the dress showed up in perfect condition and a day later I had it back in the return envelope on its way back to RTR, so easy! Highly recommended!

I wore this dress to my senior prom and it was absolutely gorgeous. It's definitely a dress for someone who likes simple and subtle dresses that still have a lot of glamour. I received compliments on it all night, and I might try a similar silhouette to this one when I look for a wedding dress! The only problem with this dress is that if you plan to move a lot or need to hold your dress in order to walk, the material wrinkles easily.

FANTASTIC dress! Wore this to the opera and it totally wowed. The color is even more beautiful in person. So flattering AND it has a tiny little train! I felt so glamorous! Thinking about renting this or the teal color again for a black tie wedding this summer.

This dress was such a great dress! I'm about 5'2'' and the dress was really long so high heels are a must. This picture doesn't depict the true color of the dress, however. It's more of a deep purple/blue with a nice shine to the material. It's not form fitting, except the bust area, so you don't have to worry about it not looking flattering in "certain" areas! It has a nice flow from the bust down. Overall great dress, many compliments!

This is a beautiful dress but found the dress to be one inch too short with 3 inch heels. Overall, very happy with the color and size and would rent it again.

I usually wear a 2, but ordered a 4 just in case, and it was definitely needed. The top of the dress is very form fitting. I'm not a huge fan of this material, it was a little cheap looking. I ended up not wearing this, and went with my original choice.
