This dress has it all! I felt absolutely gorgeous and got tons of compliments. The 6L fit perfect for my body type. Long legs and no torso. I didn’t have to wear a bra and felt secure all night, even through dancing. Due to the ruching, when I took my heels off, I could scrunch the dress up a bit so it didn’t drag and it still looked great. The material is sturdy but breathable (even for an outdoor wedding in Miami). And the price is insanely great, I almost considered keeping. 10/10 rent this dress, you’ll feel like you belong on the red carpet. So regal and chic!

When I took it out of the bag, I wasn't sure it was going to work. But like the previous reviews stated, it's very stretchy, nice thick material. It was most comfortable all afternoon and evening!

This dress was amazing! It's a great winter formal dress, as the fabric is quite thick. However, it shapes and holds things in really well, and it has quite a bit of stretch. I did not wear a bra with this, which was somewhat terrifying for me at my bust size, but the fabric held things up quite admirably. A word of small warning: the thick fabric plus the ruching makes the zipper quite challenging. If you've got an extra hand, enlist it! If not... take it slow, and keep breathing. :D

I loved this dress for my formal party!! The color and cut of the dress was gorgeous, I got compliments all night. I am 5”6 and wore 3” heels and the regular length was perfect. I’m a 32DD, 29” waist and 43” hips and the size 8 fit perfectly.

The color!! And fit is impeccable. Normally wear a 6 and ordered a 6. I ended up not wearing to the event because it was a tad short. But definitely could have pulled it out. The detailing and rousing is perfect. Loved everything about it!

This dress got so many compliments! It was perfect for NYE in Wisconsin. I think it would be perfect for weddings or Gala. I wore the size 2 R and am 123 pounds 5’5 it was snug but comfortable

One reason I chose this dress is it looked good on every body type in the reviews. It looks very slender out of the bag, but it’s stretchy material, so I think it’s true to size. I usually wear a small or medium too and anywhere from a 4-8 pants, and the size 6 fit perfectly. I’m 5’4 but you can scrunch up this material to make the dress a little shorter, and that worked great. It is a heavier dress, so perfect for colder weather, maybe not so much for a warmer event. Really loved this dress!

I had so so many compliments on this dress. True to size, stretchy but snug, I would recommend good Spanx if you have them. Otherwise, I would totally rent this again for a formal event.

Snug but flexible and perfect length for me at 5’3” with 3 inch heels. The back of the top folded portion seemed to sag a little but otherwise phenomenal. Wore spanx and a strapless bra. Had to size up from recommended 4R to 6R.

No cons! The zipper bunched up slightly in the back, but I think it's mainly because very curvy, but wasn't really an issue. The material is thick and holds you in very well!

I wore this as the host for a virtual gala , on camera. Form fitting, beautiful color for photos and camera. The material was thick enough fir a full body smooth look. Could not have loved it more.

I absolutely loved this dress. I had to size up (ordered 8, back up 10) because the arms and hips were a little tight (that's where I carry my weight 😁). If you do be prepared for the very top neckline to fit a little big. Had no issues with the length because the dress was tight enough to pull it up and it stayed. There is little rouching all around the dress so it blended in. 

This dress made me feel so empowered and glam. It fits perfectly and accentuates all your curves. As a small chested woman I wasn't sure how it would fit, but I didn't have to do anything to adjust - everything stayed in place. The length was just perfect as I picked the petite. The color - wow so vibrant and gorgeous. If you want to feel oodles of confidence and sexiness, rent it!! I love all the Nicole Miller dresses - they are amazingly comfortable and sooooo well made.

The dress is TIGHT, but the material is stretchy so once you get it zipped, it is comfortable to wear. I would not recommend it for anyone who is full figured.

Great fit! There was a little stretch that the material which made it very comfortable to sit, stand, dance. Color was a gorgeous blue & I received many compliments. Loved how this fit on the "backside" very shapely& flattering!

I wore this dress to a black tie winter wedding! The material was thick and very flattering, and kept me nice and warm! It was a bit of a challenge to go to the bathroom on my own, so I went without undergarments.

The blue sometimes photographs purple, but it's still a stunner! The shoulders ran a little big but not too crazy. The column style worked well for this occasion.

I wore something else, but this was the runner up. Fits great, super elegant but sexy.

This is a great dress. The length was perfect, the fit was form-fitting but not too tight. I usually wear a 2 but the 2 was super snug so I went with the backup size and wore the 4. I received lots of compliments on the color and style of the dress. We attended a black tie fundraiser and this one WOW’d!

The length on this dress was amazing for a gal who is 5’9 and then work 3” heels! It was perfect!!! I’m at my lightest right now—no muscle mass at all—maybe weighing in at 125-130, max. Big boobs & no butt. This was really tight to get on, didn’t have to wear a bra—bonus—but stretched to a nice comfortable size throughout the night. It made me feel like I had allllll the curves. Booty, too. I felt so sexy. But not gonna lie, I went from panicking at the beginning of the night trying to get it on, to pulling it over my shoulder 100 times by the end. I eat like a teenager boy though, so by the time I cleaned my plate, I looked like I was rounding out my first trimester. 🤣 definitely should have snacked early & opted for a salad. Scared the bejeezus out of my date. 😜

Rtr sent this as a last minute sub when the two dresses I ordered didn’t work out. It was perfect for the occasion. Not too fussy and it was long enough for my 5’9 frame. It felt a little loose but it was the only size available and because its form fitting and stretchy, that was fine.

5’-8” 200lbs (ish) fit was fabulous, potentially could have worn the 12 (but 14 was the only one available for my dates) - length was was great for heals, the arms were long enough which is a miracle, ruching was perfect to adjust the dress length, hide any area of concern through the mid section. The zipper is tough, but also durable so keep working it and it will move. The dress really is like the sister hood of the traveling pants - fits all shapes and sizes.

Great for petites, but you do need some very tall shoes and/or some hem tape.

6/22 It was a perfect fit. My weight is not muscle. I wore 3" heels & the length was perfect. Had to get help with the hook but that's fine.

Y’all. If you’re looking for a military formal function dress or black tie wedding guest gown, and want to look classy and elegant without sacrificing sexy, this dress is for you. I’m tall so I ordered the long length, and it was perfect with 3 inch heels, could probably have even accommodated 4-4.5 inch too. I have hip dips so sometimes I feel uncomfortable wearing tight clothing around my hips, but the cut of this dress is so flattering that I barely thought about it all night. I did use tape instead of a bra (KT athletic tape is honestly my go-to) and since I’m smaller chested it worked out great. I am somewhere between a 6 and an 8 and could probably have sized down for a more snug fit around my shoulders and waist if my size wasn’t available.

Hugs in all the right places, very form fitting, heavier material - well made and comfortable piece. Runs a tad small, I went with the size 8 over my normal size of 6.
