I ordered this dress as my backup for an august wedding. The colors were great and it was fairly comfortable to wear all day. The fit on me wasn't perfect because I am so short (5'2"), so the 8r was hitting the floor even with some 4" heels. So I ended up holding the dress up a lot but that didn't bother me. Also the dress was extremely snug on me. A lot of girls reviewed this as having a large fit on top but I would say the opposite. I am a 34dd and it was extremely tight up top and I couldn't even wear a bra with it if I wanted to. The plus of that was that I barely had to fidget with it and pull it up which is usually the case when I wear strapless. Overall, loved the dress and would definitely recommend it!

Fit really well, the top was slightly big so I did have to pull it up occasionally but otherwise I absolutely LOVED the dress. It was super comfortable as well which is very important for a dress you're going to be wearing all day. I would definitely recommend it. Got tons of compliments on it!

wore this for a beach wedding in aruba and it was comfortable and wasnt too hot despite it being 90 degrees. the L length was perfect for me with flat sandals. would definitely recommend it.

This dress fit my large bust VERY well and did a great job at hiding my mid section (my troublesome area) It has quite a lot of stretch in the bust area, so I was pulling it up all night (I perhaps should have ordered a size down to hold the girls in a little tighter) but nonetheless this has been my favorite dress I have ever worn! I even considered buying it at retail price and have been looking online everywhere for it at a discounted price. HIGHLY recommend!

i rented this dress for a brazilian themed event. it was perfect. fit true to size. was long enough in long size. i'm 5'11.

I wore this to a friend's luau-themed bachelorette party. I'm somewhere between a 6-8 these days and rented a 6R without a backup size. The dress came the day-of the event and (thank god!) fit like a glove. There's an exposed zipper in the back for those who might not like that look. The trouble with the dress was that even the regular length was a few inches too long for me and the bottom wasn't completely straight to use the hem tape. I wore 2" heels and that almost got the dress off the ground but once I got to the party I was barefoot and trailing the dress around on the floor. Be prepared to wear this with heels!

I wore this to a summer wedding. It was 90+ degree weather and I was 10-days out from knee surgery so I wanted to cover up my horribly swollen knee. This dress was light and airy and the perfect fit. I am not one for maxi dresses, but this was amazing.

I rented this for our Engagement party and it was so comfortable. Very impressed with the material and quality. I tried wearing a strapless bra and the dress kept slipping down, I recommend tape if you wear a bra with this rental. Even though I am very self conscience I ended up wearing no bra and still felt comfortable because of the built in support the dress had. (34DD and usually wear an 10)

so hint for Nicole miller dresses: her cocktail dresses run really small, but her longer flowy dresses run big ?! im not mad- I rented the bigger from my first experience with Nicole miller but man am I glad I had the 4. my only issue with this dress was the bigger one had a rip in the right side near the chest- ive never had that happen with rent therunway so it kinda threw me for a loop - the 4 was fine , great shape- when I wrote the girls about it they were per the usual best customer service with a credit for my next rental :).. this dress is perfect for a formal OR informal event, gorgeous, comfortable, great colors

Rented this dress for tropical vacation. I wore the 4R - length was perfect (I'm 5'6") with a small heel. It was just a tad tight right around the widest part of my hips. The ruching helped hide my tummy and I really liked that. Since I am pear shape, smaller up top, I had to keep pulling the dress up all night so my strapless bra wouldn't show. Prob recommend for bigger bra sizes and it has boning in it, so if you can hold it up, you can go braless. Really soft, silky fabric - loved the feel of it! Beautiful floral print - felt very appropriate for tropical/summer vacation. Would want to rent again, but I don't think the dress is cut for me (prob need a 6 in the hips and a 2 in the top...).

I normally wear a 6 so I ordered a 6 & 4. The 4 fit perfectly. It was a little long on my 5'4" frame but with 4-5" heels it was fine. The dress was so comfortable & easy to move in. I received a ton of compliments on this dress and I'm so glad I rented it.

LOVE this dress!! Got it for a weekend away for a wedding and wore it to the rehearsal dinner. I got TONS of compliments. It was super comfortable and zipped up without a problem. The only issue was that I wore it with flat shoes and occasionally stepped on the bottom of the dress when I walked which would pull the dress down a bit. I have a full C bust up top so wearing a size 4 is usually perfect if not a bit small. Size 2 probably would have been a better bet. Still loved it though!!

I wore this to a formal beach event and it was a perfect dress. I received so many compliments on it and it was also incredibly comfy. I wore it with a small heel and it worked well with the length of the dress.

The dress was amazing and I was told i was the most beautiful woman in the room at a pretty fancy island wedding:) However be careful w/ the bust it runs a bit large i'm not busty though 34B so us smaller bust women need some padding b/c it did drop a bit when dancing. other than that the dress was awesome and looked fantastic.

I loved this dress. I had a Hawaiian theme birthday party for my husband and it was perfect. The colors on the dress are so pretty, bright but soft and feminine at the same time. It is definitely a dress you can dress up or dress down. I read the reviews and it sounded like the dress ran big on the top. I'm usually a 4 the top and 8 on the bottom. I ordered a 6 and it fit great! I was talking on the phone with my sister, lamenting I couldn't find the right outfit for the party. She sent me the link to RTR. I have to say, I had never thought about renting a dress before. The whole experience was fabulous. I have told lots of my close friends about RTR. I will use them again for sure.

This dress was VERY pretty on...but EXTREMELY HOT... I wore it to a summer wedding, and it was very warm, the dress was too hot!

I'm 5'5" and I ordered a 4R. The length was great (especially with heels) however the top was way too big. I'm not even sure the size 2 would have fit. I would definitely order a size down if you plan on getting this dress. Also, it was a bit more difficult to walk in. You wouldn't be able to take a normal stride step but it's not too uncomfortable.

This is the dress I wanted to love. Everything about it was perfect, it just couldn't accommodate a very large bust.

The print of the dress was beautiful and I would have definitely worn it if the fit had been a bit less loose. As it was I didn't feel comfortable where a strapless dress without a slightly snugger fit on top, so I opted to where the other dress I got.

I'm not sure if I'm 5'6" or 5'7", but RTR recommended I get the "Long" version, and it was the perfect length with 4 inch heels. It fit perfectly everywhere else too. The print is very pretty and tropical, and the picture is not misleading at all. What you see is what you get here. The only negative I have about this dress is that I have to agree with another reviewer who said the material is very hot. I wore it at a June wedding, and the material did not breathe very well and my legs were sweating the whole time. Delivery/return process extremely smooth. I will definitely be renting again!!

Since I am shorter, the dress was very long on me however, with my heels it was perfect!

I loved the pattern! But a 12 was much too big. I normally wear a 14, so this was really odd but because it wouldn't stay up, I ended up wearing the 2nd dress I rented. So go a size down!

Beautiful dress... but, the top was so large that I couldn't wear it because it would have been falling off me the entire night. The size & fit hints said it would be best for a medium busted woman, which I am (36C), so I think that is inaccurate. Also, I'm 5'10'' and even with 4 inch heels the dress was still dragging on the ground. I'd say order a size down and don't get the long sizes.

It was a black tie affair in the South. I was a little concerned that they dress might be too bright for a warmish, fall wedding, but it was more subtle than I expected. Actually was spot on what I wanted and fit perfectly. I have a small chest, so I always end up tugging to make sure these tops stay where they should. With the "stay put" stickies, I was comfortable and confident in this dress.

Rented this dress for a wedding. First rental from RTR. I rented a 8R and was a bit large around the bust. I kept having to pull up the top portion of the dress throughout the evening. I should have gone a size lower but a 6R was not available at the time for a back up. I love Nicole Miller and have worn her designs in the past. I did not think I would have an issue. The print was very bright and the fabric was super soft. This dress did have a stain on the inner fabric when it arrived, I was a bit disappointed because it was my first rental.
