I have a large bust, so the off-the-shoulder dress was hard to zip, but I was glad that it was snug when it was zipped. It fit very well and accuated my curves. Loved the unique pattern, and I received many compliments throughout the event. I also loved that it had sleeves, so I didn't freeze at the January event.

This dress is a showstopper! I ordered the size 6 and size 8 for my backup. I ended up going with the size 8 because the 6 was snug especially around the arms. Everything about this dress said classy and elegant. The dress was very comfortable to wear and I received compliments all night!

Beautiful and comfortable dress that hugged in all the right places but didn't cling. I felt elegant and festive. I could have worn the 4 or 6 but found the 6 to be more comfortable in the arms and hips. The material is thick enough that it is forgiving and doesn't really require spanx underneath although I wore them just to feel more secure. Highly recommend and compliments aplenty! True you can't raise your arms but our party was a dinner and auction so no worries there.

I’ll say it fit right for a size 4, I would’ve worn a 6. It zipped and fit fine, but the sleeves were very tight, and I couldn’t lift my arms past my shoulders. Not the best for hosting! But a stunning dress

Even the smallest size was so big I couldn’t keep it physically on my body. The boning was warped in the back and curved in so I don’t know if I could have even worn it if it fit.

I received compliments after compliment all evening. You will need to be okay with not being able to lift up your arms...no slow dancing :) but you will feel great otherwise

I tried both size 0 and 2. My hips/butt are my biggest features, but surprisingly the size 0 still fit all over. It was actually tightest in the chest area. The size 2 was too loose in the chest area. I did not wear a bra. The sequins seemed to provide enough coverage. I am 5'5" and wore my comfy 2" heels. The dress might look better on someone a little taller than me due to the hemline.

This dress fit like a glove!! It was an absolute hit at my 20s themed NYE party! I was worried as Nicole Miller dresses sometimes run small, but the dress was snug on my shoulders and roomy in the arms, waist and hips. The 6 fit everywhere except for my chest (34D), but a woman with a smaller bra size could probably size down.

Tight fit...not very forgiving but beuatiful dress. I had to work on my belly bloat for a few days before wearing it. Hard to lift arms up.

Definitely a stand out dress! I felt like the dress was true to size and didn't have any issues with the arms being too tight. I could move my arms around. The dress was slim fitting but not too tight.

Wore this to an outdoor winter wedding. The sleeves were comfortable and I was still able to lift my arms to hold my baby and eat. The material is thick and forgiving. I wore the 8 to fit comfortably, I probably could have worn the 6 but didn't want it to be soo snug on me. The boning was sticking out on the chest so poked me a few times but not terrible. I got a handful of compliments from women of all ages ! I would definitely rent again!

When my husband said he wanted me to keep the dress, I knew it was a success! Fit my curvy body style perfectly. I did flip the sleeves under to make it more of a mid length sleeve.

This dress was pretty. I wore it 5 months pregnant. Arms so tight pretty impossible to eat or move in- but worth it!

Fit true to size, although back/hips loose maybe due to wear? Minimal accessories needed- great pair of heels and earrings, and a clutch did it. I received many compliments on fit, sparkle, and length.

True to fit. I wear a 10 normally, I rented 10 and 12 and 12 felt like I could move and eat comfortably. I'm a 36DD, I almost felt like I didn't need a strapless bra because it was so right at the chest. Heavy material, definitely a winter dress. Sleeves were a bit loose on lower arms, not a big deal.

I LOVE this elegant dress by Nicole Miller! Running true to size , I recommend wearing your true size for your primary size and going up for your back up. This style is fitted all around and gives you a nice classy look for any formal occasion. It works best for all cup sizes and can be worn with a strapless bra . At 5’2”, the length stops me at tea length and with a black color pair of heels will complete your outfit! Adding a nice handbag and light jewelry accessory will give it its fashionable touch.

I adore this dress! So many compliments, elegant and classy with a little edge... just dont plan on reaching over your head as the sleeves are tight.

It was a little long on me, but I'm 4'11" and didn't mind the extra length since I was attending a winter wedding in northwest Pennsylvania. Fit perfectly otherwise -- got a ton of compliments on the fit. Favorite design element is the neckline, hands-down. Was a bit nervous it'd be too Liberace for my event, but it was perfect.

This dress was gorgeous and unlike anything else in the room. It fits like a glove, so expect it to hug every curve. However, it was easy to move and dance in - although a bit difficult to lift your arms overhead. Im a pear so the top could have been smaller, but it was hard to tell with this off the shoulder style.

I had to wear the size four due to the arms being very tight on the two. I got compliments left and right all night. The fit was amazing and the sequence did not bother me. Would definitely order again!

I’m 5’4 and the dress hit below the knees/upper calves. I said the sizing runs a little small because there is no give in the material. If you want a tight fit then I recommend going with your true size but it’s you want a little room to move, I say size up. The sequins didn’t bother or rub my arms, the only issue I had was that I didn’t have full range of motion in the arms and shoulders because of the style of the dress. Overall I was happy with the dress and would rent again.

This dress was absolutely fabulous for a Christmas time wedding. Super flattering and showstopping. The arms were a bit tight but I am more on the athletic side so that was expected.

I rented size 6 with 4 as backup, rent the runway for me has always fit me perfectly but 6 seemed to be baggy across my belly (and I do have a belly) it fit otherwise - so I wore the 4 which fit my belly perfectly but was a tiny tight in the arms. It was fine. Warning - this is definitely long - at least mid calf and I am 5'5". Those models must be really tall.

This might be my favorite RTR dress yet. I wore it to the opera and it was bold and sparkly, yet somehow comfortable, even after sitting in sparkles for a long period of time. I'm usually a size 6 or 8, but the 6 was roomy. It might not be the best dress if you want to go dancing since the off-the-shoulder look limits the arm range of movement, but it's attention grabbing. I got compliments all night and wish I could keep it!

Rented this for a 1920s themed party. I'm 5'9" and it fell slightly below the knee. As a pear-shaped individual, it was a little iffy trying to get it over my hips, but once I did it flowed down nicely. Material is HEAVY, which is great for a chilly weather event like mine, but might be too much in warmer months. Very elegant and classic. Looks stupendously flattering on curves. Received compliments all night long.

It looks best with black shoes in my opinion 😉

A few notes: 1. I am not tall, and so the lower half cut off at an awkward point for my legs. 2. Unlike other reviews, I had no problem lifting my arms to dance (and I have larger arms than usual for my size), and the fabric had enough of a give to feel like I wasn't going to damage it by having a good night. 3. The sequins made it heavy and feel dolce-quality. 4. The only thing I would say is that if you're self conscious of your stomach, you want to spandex it up! Overall, I would recommend it to anyone!

Fit a little large in sleeves but overall ok. I didn't love the length (too long) but all in all a great rental. Loads of compliments and photographed well. My first RTR experience was definitely a success!

I'm unsure of my measurements as I'm in transition and 6 months postpartum, but at the time of rental: 5'7", about 180ish, and a 36DD. I gambled in the 12 and it fit well without a bra. I did need help getting it zipped up and down. Many compliments on the style and it was comfortable enough for a form fitting dress. Once you get the arms adjusted where they sit comfortably, it was a great dress.

This dress garnered so many wonderful compliments. I'm on the border of size 8 or 10 usually and went with the 10 on this one. The sleeves were a little baggy but the rest fit like a glove!

I wore this dress for a NYE wedding and loved that it was sparkly without feeling that I was standing out too much. The material was heavier and the forgiving cut of the dress would make it flattering on almost any body type. The only reason I am giving this dress 4, and not 5, stars is that the neckline and sleeve placement make it difficult to lift arms above your head (for dancing) and it was difficult to fully zip on my own.

Great dress for the costume I did, but it was a bit long on me, and not the most comfortable. I wouldn't rent it for a regular cocktail event. The neckline and shoulders are not comfortable, and the waist was a bit big.
