This dress is perfection. The fabric is thick but has some give to it and the ruching really hugs the right places while hiding some imperfections.... the color is a very deep blue, almost purple. I loved how classy and sexy this was at the same time. The long sleeves are great for cooler weather - rare to find a formal dress with long sleeves! I bought this before I even took it off the first time wearing it!

This dress definitely runs small so I would recommend sizing up. Other than that it's absolutely perfect. It's form fitting in the perfect way. So flattering! Very comfortable as well

Stunning on. Color is beautiful. I do say that they run true to size. I wear a size 2 and that's a 2. I also had a backup size 4 which felt smaller than the size 2. I think with alterations they have lost too much fabric on the dress. I am 5'10" and it was perfect length

I rented it originally for a formal affair but wasnt able to use because the first size I got (6) was too small. The size 8 arrived after the event so I ended up using it for a dinner date. Really beautiful dress. Im 150lbs and 5.6'. The size 8 was a good fit but a little tight on the chest.

Loved everything about this dress! The fit, color and length eas perfect. It did take a little help getting zipped in but it was very comfortable. I was worried the arms were going to be too tight but they were just right once I got my arms through. Would rent again.

This was my back up dress, it fit a bit snug in the chest area. The color is beautiful, the fit was great, I received many compliments in this dress. Although it was snug due to its stretch I was comfortable the whole day in it.

I’ve always found Nicole Miller dresses to run small and this was no exception. I sized up to a 6 and ordered the 8 for my complimentary second size. I ended up wearing the 8. Tons of compliments felt like a million dollars! The off the shoulder detail added interest yet modest.

I was incredibly nervous about renting a dress for my brother-in-law's wedding at 31 weeks pregnant, but refused to purchase a dress I would wear one time. And this ended up being a wonderful option! The reviews on this dress really helped me nail down what sizes to order. I typically wear a size 4 in RTR dresses, but ordered sizes 6 and 8 based on previous reviews of the dress and knowing I had a 31-week pregnant belly. I ended up wearing the size 8 because it was just a tad roomier. It fit like a glove and I didn't feel the need to wear Spanx underneath which was great because the thickness of the dress was very warm (great for a December wedding!). I received compliments all night long and that felt great, too! I HIGHLY recommend this dress for all pregnant mommas who want to feel beautiful at a formal event.

This dress ran quite small. I usually wear a 2 or 4 and the 6 was even quite tight. This dress is also more of a bright royal blue than pictured on the model. The ruching was forgiving of body imperfections. The material is thick enough that I didn't need to wear a bra or worry about undergarment lines.

This dress was perfection for the wedding I just attended. The long sleeves and thicker material were perfect for keeping me warm. I ordered both the 6 and 8, but chose to wear the 8. The elasticity of this dress was a total dream! No need for a bra or spanx, the thick material provided plenty of support and I wasn't left wanting. The arms were definitely snug, but not unbearable. AND THE COLOR. Wow that color was so vibrant and gorgeous! Definitely more of an electric indigo than blue or purple. I'd wear again in a heartbeat!

Loved the way this dress fit though it was VERY snug. It fell right at my knees which was fine. But it's a back zipper and super fitted so pulling it up to pee then getting it back down was a challenge. The ruching makes it a bit more forgiving but the dress definitely hugs every inch of your body. Wore it to a tequila pairing with a Michelin trained chef (pictured!) and got mane compliments.

Excellent quality fabric. Color is stunning, more vibrant than pictures show. Unique details with the asymmetrical neckline and ruching, although the zipper didn't lay right with the ruching in places. Snugly fit in the legs (stairs and getting into cars was difficult) but I was still able to dance OK. Hemline was just below the knee and slightly too long for me (I'm 5'4") but still felt like a queen. Wore a strapless bra. Sleeves with a dress like this can feel constricting after a while.

I am usually a 0, some 0’s run a little large on me, but I got this in size 0 and wish I would have ordered the 2 because it was skin tight. But I got a ton of compliments and it’s a beautiful blue/purple color. It was a little longer than I would like but overall a great, high-quality dress.

This was my back up dress so I couldn't get two sizes. So I went with a LARGE dress per everyone's comments. In normal clothes I wear an 8 to accommodate bust, but I think a 10 would have been better. You couldn't really couldn't tell the style of the shoulder - the top was really loose.
