This is me turning 50 & this was the dress for my party! It’s beautiful!

Such a fun dress to wear and I got many compliments. The back was tight though so I wore a size up.

I wore this for a masquerade party. Fit me like a glove. Just be advised that there is no stretch, so you should probably order a size up if you are in between sizes. It’s a thick, heavy material so it made this shorter length dress look more expensive and appropriate for a party where most were wearing full length gowns.

I loved wearing this dress and got so many compliments! It was really tight though. I actually probably could have sized up X2 because I’m a size 8, which didn’t even zip and the 10 was quite tight. The brocade fabric was beautiful, but had no give. I felt good, but could have felt better. The halter connects with a metal slide closure but the placement was much too long for me so I had to tie it around my neck first and then latch the metal slide. My breasts were in full display and would have felt uncomfortable if they were any bigger than the B cup I am! I’m glad I could get into one of them and would try a size 12. Very pretty and fancy and classic. Wore to a NYE party and felt like the belle of the ball!

Fit like a dream and easy to style and dance in! Also surprisingly comfortable. Fabric is rich and beautiful.

I am 5'5", 138lbs, 36B. This dress made me feel like a celebrity. Amazing quality embroidered gold floral pattern. Flattered all the right parts with enough fullness in the skirt so I could eat and drink without worry of a food baby belly. The front lining of the skirt did hang past the outer skirt a bit but I just pulled it up and ticket it against the waist without any issue. Top stayed in place and skirt had a nice twirl during hours of dancing. I got compliments all night long from all the other ladies. I did feel very exposed in the cleavage department but I was going all out for this wedding so a little bit of skin was fine with me. I did bring a pashmina to wear across my chest for the church wedding and when I felt a bit too "extra" for the moment. I would 100% wear again and recommend to everyone.

The dress is perfect for a short girl like me. I wasn’t worried about it being too long or dragging. I am normally a two but wore a four for this one since it just fit at the waist. The halter neck line was too long though. My bust couldn’t fill it and I think if I had more to fill, it would have been good. I just used safety pins to keep it in place in the back and it worked amazing all night.

I typically wear a six; halter style makes for ease adjustment if necessary. With boob tape and wardrobe tape I mustered the courage to entertain in this one all night with confidence. One woman commented, “you are the most put together person here tonight” the way she said it was a true compliment. When I told her RTR, she said, "isn’t that a game changer!” Very tight in rib cage, but I was still able to sing all night.

I sized up so I wouldn't look like a sausage through the waist. The 8 fit well enough, but I'm pretty short from shoulder to hip so I had to shorten the halter straps. Even though the fabric was a bit heavy for a summer wedding, the high-low effect worked and kept me from sweating. I wore it for about 10 hours straight and it was comfortable the whole time.

Loved the high-low hem. Comfortable enough to wear for a charity sit down dinner/on your feet concert.

This dress was a great cut for a formal wedding. The boning in the waist held me in so I was able to not worry about my stomach area. As others mentioned, the strap on this is way too long, but I was able to fix this easily by knotting it.

Dress was great. I received many compliments. Two issues- it runs small in the waist, so order up. It was very revealing for me. I'm busty, so would have preferred more coverage there. I had to adjust often.

I am 5,1”, short torso, and with some safety pins to make the halter shorter, the dress was very flattering . The V is VERY revealing but the dress is so classy it did not detract.

Loved this dress and received so many compliments! It definitely runs at least one size small. I am usually a size 4, so I rented the size 4 and 6. I had to really squeeze into the 4 because the 6 was too loose and didn't look as good. Somehow managed to make it work, but it is very small in the rib cage area. If ordering, be safe and order a size up too just in case! :)

I wasn't sure when I first tried it on but I ended up loving the dress and received so many compliments. I wore this to a 'metallics' themed formal event and it was perfect. I could not wear a bra but the top was tight enough to keep everything in. The waist was tight but the cut of the dress very flattering.

The dress is awesome! I wore a size 4 and it was perfect. I'm 5'3 128 lbs. The model doesn't do this dress justice. I received tons of compliments. Also has a space for a built-in bra.

When I first put this on I was concerned it looked like a ballroom dancer's costume, but my husband convinced me to wear it and I'm glad I did because the compliments just kept coming! I love the high low styling. It fit perfectly.

Pros: Great silhouette. Hugs in all the right places. Really flattering. Cons: Can be a bit uncomfortable while sitting; bunches in the back at the zipper.

I think I'm normally around an 8 in dresses, so I ordered up one size as suggested by other reviewers. The dress fit perfectly, and was actually really comfortable to wear! I have a smaller chest and I didn't wear a bra. I wasn't worried about a boob falling out of place because the dress fit so well. The hemline felt like it was at an appropriate place on my legs. I love the brocade-y appearance and textural element of the gold embroidery. All in all, I was really sad to send this dress back.

Top was a bit large. I actually retired the top to make it a little more fitting and less open in the chest

This dress fit great! The only thing I didn't like was that it was a little low cut but I tied the strap once before fastening it and it worked perfectly. I wore my hair down so no one could tell.

I wore a size ten and it was perfect! I usually wore a 6 or 8 but I ordered a 10 and 12 because the reviews said the dress was a bit tight in the chest. It was perfect and I got so many compliments! I wish I could have kept it!

I felt so confident in this dress. The halter was a little loose, but I pinned it a smidge tighter and that made all the difference! This dress was comfortable and so flattering. People complimented me all night long. This was a great rental! Highly recommend! I'm an hourglass shape, and this dress worked well for my body type.

I wore this dress to a friend's formal wedding and given my short stature (4' 11") I was surprised how well it fit me overall and in length. My main concern was that it was going to be way too long on me. I normally wear between a size 2 and 4, however, the reviews I read were helpful in that they warned about a tight waist and to go a size up, which I did. I ended up ordering a 4 and a 6. Although the 4 did fit (meaning the dress zipped up), it did not look all that flattering in the back. The 6 definitely fit better and I was able to breathe easier. Throughout the event, the dress was easy to move around in and I had many compliments (I was even told the dress gave me the 'perfect twirl' while dancing). I didn't have to wear a bra with this dress either and my 'girls' felt very supported.

This was my first RTR experience and I have never received more compliments on a dress. It was amazing! After reading the initial reviews I ordered my size (10) and a size up (12). The dress is tight in the bodice and there is no stretch. Fortunately, the 10 fit me fine. But if you are wide in the rib cage, it may be a difficult zip. The photo doesn't do justice to how great the dress looked. I meant to take a better one later but forgot. But I would rent this dress again in a heartbeat.

I was a little concerned about other bust area since other girls mentioned a fair amount of cleavage if you are bustier girl (which I am, 32DD), but I didn't have a problem with that all! The dress is so expertly made that it was very full coverage and supportive for someone of my bust size. I was extremely comfortable without a bra. I wasn't self-conscious about the amount of cleavage or worried about falling out of the dress at all. The halter was also the perfect length, which is rare for someone of my height with a short torso. The fit was just so perfect and comfortable and slimming. It was perfectly tight around my waist without being uncomfortable or cutting into my sides when I sat. The fabric moved really well with my body. Length was perfect too, which is also rare for someone of my height (5'1"). I would buy this dress if I could! I wore a size 4, which was technically my backup size, and it was a perfect fit. I waver between 2-4 depending on the style/fit of the dress. I would suggest getting your normal size and a size up, especially if you are busty like I am.

This was perfect for my company's holiday party. I knotted the halter straps together once before fastening the clasp so I wouldnt show as much cleavage. With no alterations I would've worn this dress on a Vegas night out. Didn't wear a bra with this, halter top was very snug on me so felt secure while dancing.

As soon as I put the dress on I started singing "I feel pretty" so that pretty much sums up how much I loved the dress. I got tons of compliments throughout the night. If you are busty and wear this dress, you have to be comfortable showing off a bit of cleavage though.

Dress size 12 fit well. I am recently postpartum and the dress did well to minimize my chest and belly area. I needed to use a safety pin to shorten the halter strap to reduce my cleavage a bit but other than that, it was a great fit. I felt and looked good.

Spent more time than I probably should've pouring over dresses for a Vegas wedding my husband was best man in. So glad I ended up with this one! It was very form fitting on top, which was necessary to hold the girls in place. I ended up going with a stick-on bra but you could certainly go without it. I got so many compliments through out the night...as did my husband :) Only criticism is the lining hung a little below the hem and I had to pin it up in place. But otherwise a super fun, comfy, danceable dress!

I love hi-low dresses in general, and this was no exception. The dress is really beautiful and the fabric is amazing. I received a ton of compliments all night long. I would've given it 5 stars except it was extremely tight on me - I have a wide ribcage and broad shoulders, and could barely zip the size 2. Also I have a very small chest, which made the top poof out oddly if I didnt keep my shoulders back. Overall gorgeous dress but would not rent again.

This dress is really cute on the model and on the rack. It definitely runs small - be sure to size up if you rent. It was a bit sexy for my liking, so I ended up going with an alternate dress for my event. I think this would be cute on someone with a smaller chest/smaller frame OR someone who is looking for a sexy low-cut dress. I don't think it looked bad on my body type, I just wasn't expecting it to be so chest. I would possibly rent again if I sized up or was going to a less formal event. The fabric is nice and the top of the dress is well-structured through the waist. No bra necessary, which is good considering the open back. Overall, well-made dress, but just didn't fit for my body preferences.
