You must rent this dress. It was comfortable enough for all day wear and I got tons of compliments on it. I wore it to an event at a church where I had to speak and i felt confident in it. Fits true to size. I'm not hippy, but the float skirt allows for all shapes to flaunt this gorgeous dress :)

Great fit, stretchy bottom, semi stretchy top. I usually wear a 4-6 because of hips/height but was able to wear the 2 because im not super busty (32d) which was nice to have the right fit up top.

This dress was unforgettable and people talked about it days later! I was so. Bummed to only have it for a weekend. Fit great with a regular pump heel, which made it more flattering on my shorter 5'3" frame. Light weight. Make sure you have a low cut black "v" front bra so you can wear a normal bra! Amazing. I want it back!

This dress is a stunner. I got so many compliments on it. It fit perfectly and was so comfortable. The only problem I had with it was the zipper. My boyfriend had to run a string though the base of the zipper while I held the dress closed. Overall it took about 15 minutes the first time I rented it. The second time, we were pros and it only took about 5 minutes. But even with this slight detail, I am still in LOVE with this dress.

The fit was a little loose in the waist, but this is a common fit problem for me, and the dress still looked great overall. The lace back means you either should got braless, or, like me, pop in a low-back strap. I loved that this wasn't a conventional long, narrow gown, which made it easy to move in, and its light fabric made it look effortless, I'd say. Even with the low, lace front, I never had to worry about anything popping out, but I'm not sure if that would be the case had I chosen to go braless. Overall, I thought the lace design details were stunning and extenuated all the right features, while keeping it much classier than most.

The dress is beautiful. I usually wear a size 6. Chose to wear the 4 because the top was a little loose. I felt comfortable and beautiful in this dress. It was perfect for a conservative formal event- covered everything (I wore a camisole underneath), but was unique. Love!

Someone else said they could have worn the smaller size, but the zipper wasn't great. I had the exact same problem. I could have worn the 2, but there zipper was finicky. Other than that I love, love, love this dress! It's so comfortable, flowy, and flattering. I love the length on this dress and would totally rent it again.

How fun is this dress! It was so unique and put such a great twist on a black cocktail dress. Fit true to size, lace was so pretty, and showed skin with staying classy enough for a family and friends cocktail party.

Was picked out for me by RTR stylist at SF NM location. Was perfect for the NOLA wedding. Fit so well. Got a ton of compliments all night long. One strange thing was extra material on chest made it look like I was cold (if you know what I mean). It was not me ... it was extra fabric on dress.

The pictures do not do the dress justice. The lace (front, back, sides of skirt) are very pretty and add interest along with the cold shoulder style. RTR was great, this was a last minute selection as the the original dress I chose was above the knee and I had a large bruise. The length was perfect to hide the bruise and not be too long. I am 5'3" for reference, was ballet/tea length on me. Very comfortable for dancing all night. Great fabric, did not wrinkle at all.

I love this dress so much!! This was the second time i rented it so i just decided to buy it! It's so lovely and fun to twirl in! Great for a formal event.

Rented this dress because I loved the look, and ended up being invited to a wizard of oz theme event so I wore it as the wicked witch of the west. The fabric was fragile and thin, but the dress was beautiful and fit well. Really wanted to buy this one!

This dress is not my typical style (I normally wear something fitted all over for formal events), but I kept going back to this one for whatever reason for a fall wedding I had coming up. It did not disappoint. I fluctuate between a 2 and 4 depending on the brand so got both sizes and went with the 2. The differences between the two were very subtle, I just preferred the smaller size since it was more fitted up top and I liked where the skirt fell lengthwise. It ran pretty true to size, but I thought the skirt fell longer than it appeared in the photo (and I'm 5 foot 6 so I normally don't have issues with length), but I didn't think it took away from the look at all. It was super comfortable which is high on my list, it was really fun to dance in, and was very unique in comparison to other guests at the winter wedding I wore it to. It's a great rental - you won't regret it!

got this as a backup for halloween when the dress i originally rented wasn't available. it's not anything i would have chosen for myself--especially outside of my halloween costume--but i really enjoyed the dress. i felt pretty and ladylike, with an edge. i even wore it to work in monday, since i had the dress until tuesday. the top was big enough to accommodate my large chest and i didn't have to wear a bra. it was a surprisingly flattering garment, as well. very pretty dress.

I did not initially select this dress, but when my rental was not available in either size RTR offered to send me several different styles. I usually wear either a 6 or an 8. This dress was only available in a size 4 and since I liked it so much I thought I would give it a shot. I was sooo glad that I did! I have a very small bust, so the size 4 fit perfectly, in fact that 6 may have been too large. I got SO many compliments on this dress. The pictures do not even do it justice. The lace details on each side of the skirt are stunning. I’m 5’7 and wore it with heels. I would say it was tea length. Any shorter than 5’7 I would suggest high heels or it may go down to your ankles. If you’re thinking about this style I would definitely recommend it! You won’t be disappointed.

This this honestly my favorite dress I've ever rented! I love this dress with my entire heart. It's beautiful and elegant, sexy yet sophisticated. I felt so glamorous the entire evening and I received so many complements. There truly are no cons to this dress. Although, if you have a smaller bust I would suggest ordering your normal size and also one size down because the bust of the dress is a teeny-tiny bit big.

I was nervous the dress wouldn't fit since the sizes only went to a 12. Very happy that it was true to size and comfortable. Loved the lace and the shoulder cut outs. Having the upper arms covered with lace was perfect! Didn't need a shawl to cover them. Received so many compliments on the dress. So worth it!

I work this dress for a work event and I felt like a princess! The detail is to die for and the fit is just perfect. It has a bit of stretch and is just so unique while still being so elegant and classic. rent this dress!

This was my first RTR order. My only wish is that the waistline was not fitted - if it had a little bit of give or elasticity, it would have been great for dancing! Overall I was pleased with the way it looked and got many compliments on the uniqueness of the style/look!

Form fitting on the top and feminine flowy skirt. The lace is so pretty and the dress is incredibly flattering. It's a little snug around the waistband, but no spanx required. Backless bra was a must!

I thought this dress was really flattering! I couldn't wear a bra because of the lacy back, but even with a full busy I never felt uncomfortable! True to size!

This dress even more beautiful than the pictures give it credit for! It was the perfect length and the lace on the side of the dress and the sleeves and neckline add a little bit of drama without being over the top. Material has a slight stretch so not constricting. I am more of an hourglass shape so i could size down from my normal 8 to a size 6 for this because the hip fit was not an issue but the top was perfect. I kept saying all night i wish i could buy this dress! I will most certainly consider renting it again.

What an amazing beautiful dress this is. it fit me perfectly and is a really unique, and sexy but not too revealing design. Amazing on an hourglass figure. Really wish it had arrived in time for my event so I could have worn it. For those of you that have unlimited be aware that it can take a very long time for your dress to arrive and your event may have passed.

I can't usually wear shoulder cut outs because it accentuates my thicker arms but this should detail hit at just the right spot. Form fitting and beautiful. Hugs in all the right places and was so completely feminine.

I received so many compliments on this dress. I wore it to work during the day with a leather jacket - then transitioned straight to cocktails and a play that night. It's quite fitted around the bodice/core- i have a long torso and often have trouble with cinched-waistlines not falling in the right spot, but this was perfect. Beautiful lace detail in the top and the bottom of the skirt too.

Worn to black tie optional wedding in January. Covered enough, but still sexy with the lace panels and cold-shoulder lacy bits. I thought it was a bit witchy in the photos and ordered it as a last minute decision, but was very happy with this in the end. I was comfortable, my dress was an elegant alternative to all the "body condoms" in the room ;-)

This dress has been one of my favorites I've ever rented. The style is unique and the material is fabulous! It looks expensive and feels expensive. It's very flattering- I have fat just in the lower area of my stomach that always makes me look pregnant and this dress covered it so well while giving me a great figure.

This is one of my favorite rentals from RTR! This dress is the most flattering ever, and not just because it's black. The delicate lace draping across the upper arms is so lovely, and such a pretty detail. The waist and pleated skirt work well with my curves, and the length is perfect. I considered buying this, but will definitely be renting it again for another party or event.

My original dress was too long, so I picked this one up in the NYC Flatiron store. I'm 5'3" so it was tea length on me. The 4 was a tiny bit big on top, but I think a 2 would have been too tight on my 32 DDD bust. If you have a smaller chest, I would size down. I wore a nude bra, and it was not noticeable under the lace back. I loved the fabric, and the pleats in the skirt make it so swooshy and fun. I loved it!
