Runs small, size up! Simple top that's easy to dress up!

Loved this top, I will definitely be renting again. It was very flattering and form-fitting. The material was not stretchy so it was difficult to get on and off but it was very classy and well-made. I'm 5'5'' 115lbs and I liked how the xs fit.

This top was great for a Friday night out - it definitely runs small but I think it is meant to be very tight in order to stay up on your shoulders. Not a lot of breathing room, but very flattering! Would rent again

I needed a black long sleeve top to go with this skirt. It was very flattering, and I got several compliments! I would highly recommend this top! Only complaint was the small was pretty tight, so would be hard to raise arms. Luckily, I didn't need to do that much. :)

Wore this for my engagement photos with a tulle skirt - came out awesome! There wasn't a whole lot of give when putting the shirt on but it looked awesome!

Since the material isn't really too stretchy it's a little difficult to get on and off, but was totally comfortable once it was on. Easy to pair with so many bottoms. I wore this a bunch of times with high waisted jeans or regular jeans. The XS might run a little big in the waist for someone who is very very petite. I'm skinny but I do have hips, and I normally wear between an XS/S and this fit me perfectly!

I wore this to my 10-year high school reunion. I am usually a small/medium, I wore the medium but it was quite tight. Very comfortable, and nice thick material. I got a lot of compliments!

Matte swimsuit type fabric. It fit well, a little on the small side but i guess thats what you want for a form fitting off the shoulder top! I didnt end up wearing it, i felt like i needed a necklace (or maybe a tan! Lol) and the finish of the fabric seemed strange to pair with jeans but if i figure out which bottoms to pair with this top i would rent again.

I rented this top for a dinner out. It looks terrific on: slimming, elegant. Shows just the right amount of skin. But I usually wear a small / medium in most clothes and the medium was tight, especially in the arms. My biggest complaint is that there is no way to avoid getting (even clear) deodorant marks on it as you're putting it on (pulling it over your head.) I was furiously using baby wipes as I was running out the door to get the marks off. But overall I loved the way it looked. Wore with a strapless bra. I paired the top with black cigarette pants.

Really snug to get on but liked that it held up a strapless bra. Simple and elegant.

Fit was tight but flattering, but all day the strings were showing on top which was distracting.

I ordered a medium originally returned for a large. I have a big chest the large fit well. Very cute top I wore it with jeans here. I also wore it with a black pencil skirt . Super cute will rent again.

This shirt runs very small & was extremely TIGHT! I normally wear SMALL in shirts and I wore a MEDIUM in this shirt. The whole fit was very TIGHT!! The arms were extremely tight fitting and uncomfortable. Its a nice shirt, the material is tight and snug fitting. It was so small fitted that it was hard to put the shirt on and take it off. I wore a strapless bra which worked out well.

This shirt is tight, but it wouldn't look right if it was baggy. Everything fit fine, but the sleeves are snug, so if you have bigger or muscular arms, you may have difficulty getting the shirt on. Because of the tight fit, you will likely get deodorant stains and/or just white marks from rubbing against your skin as you put the shirt on. I would definitely buy this shirt. Easy to dress up or down and the neckline makes the collarbone and shoulders look sexy.

Very snug. I’m about 32D and usually wear between 4/6. I almost wished I ordered medium. However, This was a gorgeous, classic top. Loved it!

I rented this top for my bachelorette party and it was a hit! The xs was extremely flattering on my petite frame. The off the shoulder cut is lovely. The top fits beautifully. It is snug but not too tight to be constraining or uncomfortable. Would rent again and highly recommend!

So its very tight, i usually wear a size small/medium. I think the shirt is suppsed to be tight so the sleeves don't keep sliding (you know how off the shoulder shirts can be). Overall i love it, great to pair with jeans as a casual look...or a nice skirt for a dressier look!

I loved this off the shoulder top and am thinking about buying it! I tried the medium on first and felt comfortable in it, so I didn't bother trying on the small. I'm pretty sure I could have worn the small, but it would have been a little tight in the chest, and I probably would have felt a little restricted in the shoulders. I wore it with a high waisted skirt, and this top hits at the top of the hips, so it was the perfect length to not bunch up under the skirt, without being a revealing crop.

If this shirt ever goes on sale I will buy it immediately. Wore it with a full skirt for a wedding and with jeans for a different event and loved it both times. It runs small so rent the next size up for sure. It was very classy and I got tons of compliments. Loved that the shoulders stayed in place and were not a huge pain all night.

At first I was skeptical about the fabric, but it was actually very slimming and preserved the structure of the shirt well. I ended up buying it as the perfect going out shirt.

I felt like a ballerina. The material is a bit stretchy, but fits tight. I didn't wear a bra and the girls were held up well. Can be dressed up or down!

I am so used to renting dresses from RTR, I forget about their awesome top & blouse collection! Being a PRO member, I had a free birthday rental, so this top was perfect for a party. I didn't find it constricting or tight like some of the other reviewers did. I ordered an XS but ended up wearing my backup size S (I didn't even try the XS on), so definitely order up for your backup size. I read some reviews that the hanging straps kept popping out, however mine were cut out, so I didn't have to worry about that. I definitely recommend this adorable top!

I wore this top out all day with friends which turned into drinks at night. I am typically a small on top (34A) , but was so happy I ordered the medium. Fit perfectly and was sexy but comfortable for a full day out and about. I would buy this in a heartbeat.

I really loved this shirt - I am between a medium and a small and went with a medium based on other reviews and it was plenty tight. I had no problem with the arms staying off the shoulder - will definitely rent again.

The perfect off-the-shoulder top. It's very comfortable, stays in place, and has stretch! It's the perfect piece. Definitely more on the fitted side, I'd recommend ordering your true size or one size up if you're on the bustier side. For undergarments, the fabric allows for you to go bra-less, but a strapless works as well. Great for day or nighttime.

This top is very on trend with the exposed shoulders. I was able to wear it twice - once out to dinner tucked into jeans and another time to a party paired with a flare skirt. It is really tight and sucks everything in. The thick material and long sleeves make it appropriate for winter.

Don't want to return this!! I've been looking for a classic off the shoulder top for a while and stumbled on this. And I am so glad I did! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the fabric and the fit. It's made of a thicker material and got a slender A-line shape. I'm usually a size Small but opted for a XS since I couldn't find it in my size. It's definitely tight and body-hugging but it gives you such a slimming effect so I don't mind at all. I'd definitely go with your true size. It's perfect for date night/everyday and thick enough material to wear as a layering piece even in the brutal east coast winter. You can wear a regular strapless bra and the top has no slip grip to stay off the shoulder.

This was a great staple piece and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a clean and classic top! While I did not wear a bra with this, you can absolutely wear a strapless bra. There's a sticky material along the top of the shirt that holds the off the shoulder styling in place without being bothersome, similar to what you would find at the top of a strapless bra. The material the shirt was made of was thick enough to be warm in these cold winter months, and I absolutely plan to rent this again before it warms up too much!

Selfishly, I don't even want to write this review because I know I'm going to want to rent this again soon... but, this shirt is absolutely perfect. It is meant to be skin tight and is a little difficult to get on, but once you maneuver it onto your body, it fits true to size and is totally comfortable... It kind of fits like a long sleeve leotard, but made with way nicer materials.

Shirt was quite tight, and sleeves were long. Might need to order up a size, but just wasn't a very flattering top overall.

This bad boy is very very small. I'm typically a medium and got the medium, it was definitely snug. It's very bodycon, intentionally, but that's not my style. With that being said, because of the fabric (and that it's black), it didn't look bad. I'm thinking about rerenting it for when I do engagement pictures and need to tuck into a high waisted skirt.
