I typically wear anything from a 4-6, small to medium, and I was worried about this dress being too small. The 4L ended up being perfect. It was very comfortable: had a bit of stretch, could be worn with a regular bra, the length and thickness of the fabric kept me warm as the night cooled down, the the open back and no sleeves kept me cooler when it was warmer. I did have to wear about 4" heels due to the length of the dress- I'm already 5'8".

I am almost 5 foot 8 and without heels this dress would drag. I would recommend this dress with heels that you are comfortable dancing with all night.

This dress was very comfortable, a great color, and I got so many compliments. No bra necessary (my favorite). The material was thick for a June wedding but still so comfortable. In case you were wondering, I WAS still able to do the worm on the dance floor despite the fitted style of this dress. 10/10 would recommend

This dress is tight on the top. If you are busty, skip it. I'm almost 6' and the L was even a bit too long for me. Perfect with heels. It is just perfect for a fall wedding.

This dress is beyond beautiful. The colors are vibrant, the length was perfect for my 5'5" frame and the cut is flattering. I looked sleek and put together for the formal wedding, yet was still able to dance the night away comfortably at the reception that followed. Having recently lost about 100 pounds, I was nervous to go with the bold side cut outs, but the dress was classy and flattering in ways I never thought possible. It covered my imperfections while making me feel sexy and classy. It was the perfect mix! Now for the down side of the dress - be sure to order a size up. I am usually a 4, and sometimes a 2, but after reading other comments, I ordered a 6 and thank God I did! The dress is perfect up top, but not stretchy, so I needed the larger size through the hips. Also, be careful of the bra you wear. I forgot to pack a razor back bra and was disappointed the my straps were peaking out a little in some of the pictures. (My fault - not the dress, but definitely worth mentioning so others don't make the same mistake). Overall, I would 100% recommend this dress for a classy event if you want to feel sexy and vibrant!

I ordered this dress for a wedding that unfortunately could not attend due to a cancelled flight. Loved the dress so much that we took it out to a fancy dinner instead. It fits true to size, however, I'm short (5'3" on a good day) and did have to wear pretty high heels to have it not drag on the ground.

It runs a bit small, but super unique and got lots of compliments. This was a summer time Black Tie wedding. Worked perfectly and I was able to wear a bra!

I ordered a 0 and a 2 as my backup, as I'm usually one of those two sizes. Both of them would have worked, but I ended up going with the 2 as it was a bit more comfortable to sit down in. The sizes didn't really seem all that different though. The color is beautiful and I got so many compliments all night. I am pretty pear shaped with a really small bust, and the high neckline and shape was perfectly cut for me. A lot of people on here have commented on the length being too long, but I actually thought it was perfect or borderline too short when I had 2" heels on.

I rented this BEAUTIFUL dress for my brother's wedding. It arrived (as scheduled) the night before we were headed to VT. It fit fine, but I knew it would be more flattering in the next size up (so the cutouts sat nicely instead of creating some squish in my midsection). Got on the phone with a rep who was super helpful and friendly, and overnighted the next size (4) to my hotel so it would be waiting upon my arrival! Fit perfectly! Also, I'm 5'3" and with 3" heels it just barely grazed the ground. 10/10 will use RTR again!

I typically don't choose form fitting styles, but this dress made me feel comfortable and beautiful! The fabric is thick and hugs just enough to make you feel secure and hide any imperfections. Didn't have to adjust or tug at the outfit while dancing either. This one is a sure thing!

I wore this dress to the reception dinner/party for an Indian wedding and figured it was the best fit I could get to match the formal, long, brightly colored saris many other women were wearing. It was a hit! Loved the print, and it looks just like the picture. I wore it with beige heels and long gold earrings. One recommendation - order a larger size (I had to have one overnighted to me, because I usually wear a 2 but needed a 4 here) since it is tight around the waist and that's where the cutouts are. Otherwise your skin will pooch out there since it's tighter at that spot, and no one wants that. It's a comfortable dress when you get the right size though!

I received SO many compliments on this dress that I wore to a wedding! The side cut outs and back cut out make the dress unforgettable. I always worry about "back fat" coming out but the dress hit the perfect spot on my back and accentuated all the right places! It was pretty thick so a little warm but couldn't have been happier with how the dress fit!

This was my favorite RTR dress to date. I felt actual sadness to return it. The dress was one size up for me but fit perfectly... such a pretty color, cut, floral pattern. Could wear a normal bra without any of the straps or back showing. Perfect for the occassion. Highly recommend!!

The fit is true to size; wasn't too long with proper heels, fit so perfectly without any bra on, wasn't too tight around the back so there wasn't any back rolls going on, and the fabric was light enough to feel comfortable but also heavy enough to feel like a real dress. The colors are wonderful and exactly like the picture. I got a million and one compliments on the dress all night long! I wore this to my senior ball and I didn't even have to worry about extra jewelry or a super fancy up-do because the dress spoke for itself. Seriously...just get this dress. Too perfect to pass up.

If you want to rock a bold color and awesome detail- pick this dress!!! Runs true to size. The 6L fit my frame perfectly- wasn't too tight on my curves. I would recommend sizing up just in case you'd like some more wiggle room, but the dress is pretty friendly fitting in those "trouble areas" most curvy women have. The color of this dress is fantastic..you truly stand out. My date told me I looked beautiful and honestly I felt it in this dress!! Was so sad to send it back but will definitely rent again

This dress ended up being my second pick because the renter before me did not return the second size of my first pick in time. I will have to say that although I was disappointed, the folks at RTR did an amazing job with their customer service when choosing my second dress in time for delivery. Just make sure you are watching your emails a bit before your delivery goes out and you will not run into any issues. I will have to say I am glad the first dress did not work out because this dress was AMAZING. It fit perfectly and was easy to move in all night. Being able to wear a regular bra too is always a plus. I always go back and forth when deciding if I should get a regular or long. I went with the long and wore 4 inch heels and the dress was still a bit long. But it did not prevent me from walking in it all night as the slit in the back helped with movement. I would definitely recommend this dress.

This dress was my first experience with RTR and it highly exceeded my expectations! I felt amazing in it and received compliments all night long. It was super comfortable, but did run a little long even with fairly high wedges so I would probably go with the shorter one if I were to rent again. Both the 4 and 6 fit, but I went with the 6 as it was little more forgiving. The color is absolutely gorgeous and the cutouts added a sexy element. I would totally rent again-Loved it!!

I rented this for an Indian Sangeet on the second day of festivities. Since I didn't have a Sari I figured this came close enough looking like a two piece in the back. I wore a normal bra and the 4R fit me well. I have a bubble butt but tiny waist so I was more concerned about the waist being too loose, but it was perfect. Didn't even try the 6 on because this fit well. Long for someone like myself at 5' 3" I had to hold it up every time I walked, even with 4 inch heels, but it was still a great dress. Hugged me in all the right places and got a lot of compliments.

Loved this dress. I should have gone up a size to 4R because the slits in the back sometimes gathered my back fat and made me uncomfortable.

This was my first RTR experience and I loved it. This dress was amazing, I received so many compliments and I think it photographed well. Super comfortable, I could dance, eat and drink freely. I'm normally a 4 in dresses but I went with the 6 because the cutouts weren't as tight on the 6 (had a bit of a bulge on the sides in the 4). I am only 5'4" so it was extremely long. I had on heels and used some temp hemming tape to get it the right length. My only wish is this was in a petite so I didn't have to worry about the length.

This dress is so comfortable! The 8 fit perfectly, didn't have to wear a bra. Definitely enough support. The top zipper is a bit tricky but my husband managed to figure it out. Wore with small heel, 1.5". Would highly recommend!

I've never worn a dress with cutouts before, but these were tasteful and flattering. I went for the 8R as the dress was a bit snug and I wanted to be comfortable in it. I'm larger chested and this fit just right. Wish I could buy it!

This dress fit like a glove, was great to move around and dance in all night and was the prettiest lilac color! I got the 8R as a backup size and never even needed to try it on because of how well the 6R fit. I wore 3" heels with this dress and the length was perfect. With all the raving and great reviews I've been spreading, a friend of mine already rented this same dress for a wedding she's attending.

For me the number one selling point for this dress is comfort! This is probably the most comfortable dress I've ever worn to a wedding. It is formal enough for a black-tie event (especially if you snazz it up with a statement necklace), but the cut and color also make it appropriate for a semi-formal wedding or event. The lace overlay is a true light purple which will definitely pop, and the cutout in the back only shows a few inches of skin. I wore this with low wedges, as the dress was already the perfect length. I was worried about being able to dance/walk around due to the length and column shape, but luckily the slit up the back makes it really easy to move. (You can't do hurdles or splits or anything, just FYI). I would say this is a solid, safe choice for any late-summer event.
