Great dress, true to size, comfortable and lots of compliments. Loved it!

This dress was super comfortable! I was worried about the top being too loose since you can't wear a bra with it, but it stayed in place well!

The dress was perfect for the occasion! Although the top ran a little large the rest of the dress fit great! It was very comfortable and the back was gorgeous! I would recommend this dress to a woman with a little bigger bust. Helps fill out the top more!

I ordered the 4 and 6 and the 4 fit well, if anything I had more space than needed up top...the black straps that wrap around onto the back were lose. I'm 5' 2" and the dress was definitely knee length, not mid-thigh like on the model. Overall a very flattering dress.

This dress is really pretty and it was perfect for my holiday party. Its conservative enough that I did not feel uncomfortable and the open back adds a nice edge. The dress fit prefect, I used a backless stick-on bra which worked out great. The dress is super comfy too, with room to breathe!

I LOVED this dress! This was my second Rent the Runway experience and both were a success. I received so many compliments all night long. I had read the reviews which most said to size down because the top ran big, so I did. I normally wear a 2, so ordered a 0. I was a bit nervous about the top but ordered it anyway because I loved the dress. The top fit perfectly. I wore silicone bra cups which worked perfectly with this dress. I'm also short (5'), so the length is always a concern with me. The length was just perfect. Very comfortable dress to dance in and eat in. My only word of caution is that the dress is wide open in the back so if you have a pale back that might bother you. I got a spray tan because I didn't like how my back looked and I felt so much better.

This dress is gorgeous! The top part does run a little large which I didn't think would be a problem because I'm blessed in the chest department but even I had a little trouble filling it. The skirt is beautiful and the material is lovely and light. Would 10/10 recommend!

Loved this rental. Easy to wear, flattering cut and easy to eat in! Runs a little large- I had ordered a 2 as a back up size but it wasn't included when the package arrived. Overall- would absolutely rent this dress again.

Loved the fit and feel of this dress. It is very rare that I am able to go braless (I'm a 34DDD) but the structure of the top on this both supported and flattered my bust! Wore this to a wrap party with a belt and got lots of compliments. Would definitely recommend and rent again!

This dress was gorgeous. Flirty with the low cut but I am a 36D and felt that the material kept the girls in so I didn't feel overly revealing. The dress flows out at the waist so you could eat and drink all you wanted and weren't restricted by the material. Would definitely recommend

I agree with the reviews this dress does run a little big. I ordered a size 8 and probably could have gotten away with a 6. But overall I loved it! Super cute and very comfortable! I ate and drank all night and never felt uncomfortable. It was classy with the right amount of sexy. I never want to wear the same dress and I had such a good experience with my first RTR that I can't wait to use it again!

This was such a great dress! I got tons of compliments. It was a little big in the bust (and I'm busty). It fit perfect everywhere else. It was backless and sexy, but not too sexy.

I am 5'4 and 115 lbs and usually wear a Size 2 but the Size 0 fit me like a dream! I wish I knew I could wear a NuBra inside nevertheless it holds up pretty well.

I rented two dresses for my weeklong birthday celebration. This was my favorite. I felt amazing in this dress! I just got out of a bad relationship and this was just what I needed to start feeling good about myself. The cutout back is very sexy. The top hits at a great spot, accentuating my curves while narrowing my waist. I received tons of compliments. All eyes were definitely on me!

The dress fit great! The top is a bit big for those with a smaller chest but it still worked out great. I still was able to wear a bra, just one with a back. The dress was extremely comfortable and I received compliments all night- including from the photographer at the wedding I attended!

I'm not a teeny tiny girl. I'm a size 10 and 36D/DD. The cup size was perfect for me. I didn't wear a bra because I had enough support. The 10 fit great in the skirt, but the chest did not have enough room. The skirt is cute and flowey. I felt like a birthday queen!

This dress was a perfect fit, but only because I read previous reviews saying it runs large. I'm usually a 6, but the 4 was just right. It was a little loose in the bust, but it's cut in such a way that it's not a big deal. I loved this dress and would certainly order it again.

LOVED this dress - I am 5'00" with an athletic build and the length was perfect, fit was great. Love the neckline and low back. I wore it to my husband's work's formal Christmas cocktail party.

I usually wear a 12 or 14, I wore a 10 in this dress. I read the reviews and everyone said that it ran big and it really does! The dress was very comfortable and I got a ton of complements! I didn't want to give it back!! The only down fall is that it was a bit longer than I thought it would be, but it still looked great!

Never in my life have I worn a size 4. Order a size down! You will want a NuBra to get some cleavage bc the top is tight and will flatten you. I LOVED this dress and would jump at a chance to order again. Back is not as low as it looks in model pics.

The other reviews were helpful because I usually wear a size 6 but this dress runs big and so the 4 fit perfect. I loved it so much I wish I could buy it. The criss-crossed back adds a little sexiness to the dress but the full and longer skirt keeps it from being too sexy. The sparkle and layering in the skirt added fun details for dancing. It was so comfortable and flattering. I got a to of compliments.

I am 5'10" and 150lbs. I normally wear a size 6 and a D cup. I got a 6 and a 4. The 6 was too big! The 4 fit good but I actually think I could have worn the 2 (what??). It is an amazing dress! Not as short as the picture showed with the model. I went in blind, no one had worn it yet or reviewed. I would 100% recommend this dress. Got many compliments from ladies who I found out were also wearing renttherunway! I will do this again!!!

Rented this for a wedding and got a lot of compliments on it. I've been weight lifting and have lost weight and wasn't sure of my size. I got an 8 and 10 and the 8 was almost too big. The boning of the dress stuck out and no amount of fashion tape made a difference. I ended up wearing a sweater over it for most the night because of that and the weather being cooler than usual. Otherwise it was pretty comfortable!

Runs true to size, imo. I ordered a 6, but should have ordered my normal size, 4. Dress is very comfortable. I am tall, and it was an appropriate length. No cups in the dress. Wore a sticky backless bra.

I am 5'4, 127 lbs, 34C. Dress was cute and I got a lot of compliments but didn't love it. I wear a 6 and I wore this in a 6. I felt like the sides and back straps were not tight enough so I taped them-total pain but worked out. If you have boobs you will want to grab a NuBra or tape the girls where you want them as this dress does nothing to help them out lol. Great length and super sexy but if you are trying to show off your flat stomach or curves, this is not the dress for you. However if you want to be a little classy and a little sassy then this will work perfectly!

I normally wear a 4, but rented the 2 as well after reading that the dress runs large. For me, it only fit big in the fitted torso area. There was a little extra fabric around my ribs, while the rest of the dress fit fine. This might only be my experience, but I thought I'd extend the word of warning. It wasn't unbearable by any means, but I prefer dresses that fit perfectly. Overall though, I loved this little black dress.

I rented this dress for a friend's wedding after spending hours at the mall, looking for a dress to buy and hating everything I tried on. I read all the prior reviews about sizing down for this particular dress and ordered both a 6 and a 4. The 6 would have been okay if it was all I had, but I ended up wearing the 4 since it was a better fit (hooray for backup sizes!). I agree with the other reviews that there was a LOT of room in the bust of this dress, as I am a DD cup and still found there was a little extra room in the bust area. I wore a sticky bra (a must, since the dress is backless) and that helped keep my boobs lifted enough to fill out the dress. The boning on each side of the dress was a bit stretched out (likely from repeated wear, not a flaw with the dress itself) but I used fashion tape to tack it down, which worked well. Overall, this dress was beautiful and very flattering on my body; I loved wearing it for the day. This was my first experience with RTR but it surely won't be my last!

Let me start with this- I have never gone without a bra. I first tried on this dress and didn't think it would work. The girls just aren't as perky as they once were and I really need to wear a bra. I found out (thank you, YouTube) that you can use athletic tape to give breasts some lift and guess what? It actually worked! I was very nervous and self conscious at first, but you can see from my smile in the picture, it actually worked!

This dress was great. I wore it for my 26th birthday dinner and it was very comfortable to wear. The top with the straps could have been a little tighter but overall fit well. I am a 36 D and wore without a bra and felt comfortable the whole time. I would recommend for a night out.

I had really high hopes for this dress, especially as a 34D cup, because of all of the women who reviewed saying the dress ran big in the chest. I did find the chest was very comfortable on the 4, and a little loose on the 6. Even though the 4 was very tight on my waist, I wore that one instead because the 6 fit like a tent in the chest (not something I've ever experienced in a dress, due to my chest!!). My biggest gripe though was that the metal boning on the sides that is supposed to give the dress some structure (since there's no back to keep the silhouette flattering, were completely worn out. The boning sagged right under my breasts, around my waist area and made it look like I was bulging out the sides, when viewed from the front. My boyfriend assured me it looked fine, but I was still uncomfortable, which was unfortunate. The only other thing that bothered me was that the straps didn't fall how it looked in the pictures, which might've antagonized the "dropping" of the boning, since the straps attached there as well. I ended up pinning the straps where they were supposed to cross over each other, and that helped both issues, a little bit. The boning still sagged somewhat though, even with that fix. All that said, after wearing the dress two nights, one night to help host a trivia game, and once t the wedding reception I originally rented it for, all of the lovely comments would be enough to make me rent this dress again.

I ended up with the smaller of the two sizes. I was nervous about my back, but it ended up working perfectly. I danced all night long!

I'm not the tiniest person, but I ended up wearing a 2. The top runs pretty big, but overall it was amazing and everyone said how pretty it was! I would rent it again.
