Was great for a September evening wedding! got tons of complements!

fits pretty true to size was a little extra roomy in the torso and was a little long, wished it came in petite. Over all decent fit. Easy to wear, simple jewelry made the dress stand out.

I wore this for NYE and received tons of compliments.

I typically wear a 10; this runs a bit small.

Great dress for an evening event!

I loved this dress! I'm 5'4, 34bust-30waist-39hip and the 6 fit perfect! I'm usually a 4 but it was a little to snug around my hips/legs so I went a size up!

Dress was super comfy and got a lot of complements on the dress. Loved the pockets

I usually wear a size 0 or 2 went with the 2 little tight in the hips but the bigger size fit great!

Great first RTR experience!

Loved the dress and got tons of compliments on it. The length worked. Always an issue for me at my height (5'0"). The colors and patchwork pattern were really stunning. I thought it was a very unique design for a formal event where most wore black or other solid colors. A great first RTR experience!

Stylist Review!

This is one of my favorite styles for fall! Everything about Nicole Miller’s tribute to this classic 1970’s trend is fun and fresh- from the metallic printed fabric to the hidden side pockets. This style runs true to size. I typically wear either a size 2 and 4, and while the 2 I am wearing did fit, I would have preferred the size 4 to have a little more room in my hips. I would recommend sizing up to anyone who is curvy in the bust or hips. This versatile style can be dressed down for work by day, and transition well into the evening for a night out. Pair with booties and a leather jacket for a day-to-night look, or throw on a pair of heels and wear this to your next cocktail party!

Holiday Party at a friends home.

I definitely didn't have enough of a bust to fill out my dress. I feel that was my biggest issue. Because I didn't fill it out up top, the fabric didn't hang right and bunched up in the waist a little bit. So as you can see in the photo I ended up choosing to belt it which totally worked for me. All in all, still absolutely loved it - super gorgeous in person! Love the pockets!

Love the pattern. Imperfect fit.

I love the artistic design of the dress, but it fit me strangely around the middle. It's stiff and doesn't form fit very well. The 12 was a little loose, especially around the middle, but the 10 was too tight everywhere else.

I wore this dress with black booties for a fierce kind of look during a fall dance!

the dress was longer than I thought it'd be and I am 5'7" so I fold the bottom up under the dress and it was unnoticeable and stayed in place! other than that it was a very nice fit!

Stylist Review: The dress that proves patchwork can be chic!

Any magazine editorial as of late will show you that the 70's trend is back and in a big way! Our Patchwork Dress by Nicole Miller will check that trend right off of your style list. Its medley of metallic hues and floral printed jacquard pieces together perfectly for a modern take on the craze. With hidden pockets big enough to hold lipstick or an iPhone, this sheath is comfortable and gives just a little in stretch. I threw on a leather jacket with this frock to jazz it up a bit, but it would be justified alone. Overall, I would recommend sizing down if you would like this dress to hug your hips. I chose to size down from my usual dress size of a 2 due to my petite frame. However, I would advise any person who has fuller hips or a larger bust to size up in this lovely dress. No matter the occasion, pair this Artelier number with our Maya Ball Cuff by Stanmore and get ready to gleam!

Great contrast in the dress pattern and the material was so rich in appearance.

For a petite 5 foot person, I ordered a size 2 because I wanted it to fit looser for the office. I am normally a size 0 and a size 2 worked great in fitting like a sheath dress. For my height it hit right at my knees.

Very pretty and fashionable.

I bought this Nicole Miller and I couldn't be more pleased. I would say it runs a little bit small. The fabric and construction looks very expensive.

Elegant, understated, great dress

I'm usually a 12 in Nicole Miller dresses - they always run small (I'm a true 10 nearly every time). In this instance though with this dress, the 10 was perfect and the 12 was a little too roomy, so I wore the 10. The colors are more understated than in the photo - it's more muted and subtle, but really lovely and elegant. Also very comfortable. If you're looking to make a splash, pick something else, but for formal and a little more conservative, yet still with flair, this is a terrific dress.

"Wow, very sexy and classy"

This dress has amazing details that look great in various lights. It was wonderful for the party we hosted the night before New Years and I got many compliments, especially from my boyfriend. He really loved the dress and raved about it from the moment it arrived until we sent it back.

Unique look!

I wore this dress several times - with high heels and with boots for a less dressy occasion. The patchwork is very unique and makes the dress look very different and interesting in my opinion. I got lots of compliments! Very comfy fit too.

Great vineyard wedding in Paso Robles CA!

I went out on a limb with this dress, as it was so new, that no one else had done a review on it yet. It was totally worth it! I rented the 10 and the 12-- the 10 looked better, but the 12 felt better on my hips. (I tend to hold weight on my hips) The fabric is way lighter weight than what you would think (but it is fully lined, so no slip needed), and it was the perfect weight for a late afternoon, fall wedding. It has just the right amount of sparkle without being over the top for a day-to-evening event. Since the wedding was outside I wore flat, strappy sandals in a two tone silver and gold, so either metal would work for accessories. I also had a plum pashmina for when it got cooler in the evening. It has pockets, but I thought that they were a little to small for anything other than lip gloss, but they were comfy for warming my hands. I will post a pic if I can find one where I not blurry from dancing!

Loved this dress! Definitely different and I felt like a million bucks!

I am curvy and it was snug but the tight fight was perfect. The pockets in the front were awesome. Even though you can't really use them, it was nice for standing and talking. The patch work on this dress is very unique and I got a lot of compliments. I ordered a 6 and 8...ended up wearing the 8 because I am curvy and the hip area was snug.

This dress is easily worn from day to night. Pair with cardigan for day, swap for pearls for night!

It is best for straight lined figures - I am small chested - not sure how it would look on a curvier gal. Material is heavy, but still comfortable. Perfect length for heels and flats.

New Year's-festive all around.

I rented this for New Year's Eve and was really pleased with how it looked/photographed. I'm petite but curvy and I thought the patchwork paneling was super flattering. Dress zips up the back but also has some stretch/give to it. Pockets were also a plus. Since it was NYE, I went with black tights and booties but it would also go well with more gunmetal/silver accessories.

Dress is a little more fitted than on the model - still gorgeous and edgy! Just a little too dressy for the event I was going to!

It made the wedding prep quite stress and care free!

I ordered the size larger than my usual for my second size. But the dress was a little stretchier than I thought it was going to be, so I ended up wearing my normal size (2), but I'm pretty sure I could have fit into the 0... Overall a great looking and well made dress. Also, it has pockets!

Nice dress and I did get compliments

Bunches in midsection or pooches may be a better word so I felt I had to keep one hand in front pocket pushing it straight if standing or walking to make it look it's best

This dress was fun and shiny for a New Years Eve party.

This dress was a little more fitted than I expected, but that worked out fine, and it was great to be able to wear a normal bra. The different colors unfortunately weren't as easy to see in the dim lighting of my party, but I still got compliments!

Holiday event

Fun dress and fit well in hips. I had to be much larger in the chest to make the stomach fabric flatten out. There was just too much material. Love the pockets.

Great colors, weird pouf in tummy area

This dress was beautiful and true to size. However, it has kangaroo style pockets that require an extra layer of fabric over the tummy area. The patchwork on this area is a red shiny pattern that combined with the extra material, made a pouch in my tummy area. It was a very odd design for a somewhat fitted sheath and I was very surprised. I tried the size up, which was a little too big everywhere else and it still poofed out in the tummy area. It just looked strange and I am not very picky. So sad as the colors would've been perfect for the fall wedding I was attending.
