Love the fit of this styles. It's easy to get on and off (no zippers or buttons) and there is plenty of room in the hips and bust. I'd recommend sizing down for backup if you're smaller busted. The elastic waistband at the midsection stretches, which helps with the fit. It was a great length on me (I'm 5'7") and the small slit is a great detail. You can't wear a bra with this style because of the back, but a NuBra works perfectly. I'd pair it with statement earrings.

I chose the 6L over the 8L due to the sizing under the arms. That was what was large, the length really wasn't any different. Very loose and airy and SUPER comfortable. The slit hit about an inch below the knee so nothing too revealing but just enough to show my sandals off a bit. I wore flats instead of heels so be mindful of that when comparing the length. Another thing that I would mention is that the white of the dress is not as stark white in person so I would go with a gold or silver shoe not a white one. It would be hard to match. Also, if you're pale or more fair skinned like myself then I suggest a spray tan or gradual self-tanner since it is white. It might wash you out otherwise.

The dress hit the floor perfectly with flats. I wore it on a date and he loved it. I went bra-less, there just isn't a way to wear it with one. I would certainly wear this again!!

Really liked this dress! It was a little difficult to get in, but loved the shape and style. It does run a little small, I have bigger hips and backside, so I could have gone up a size.... but spanks help a ton! :) It was perfect for a May wedding!

Works fine with a normal strapless bra, wore it with flats, would have been a little short on me with heels.

The bust area is loose. It is quite difficult to get on. I needed to ask my husband to help me put it over my head. 4R went to the floor and I am 5'7". No L needed. Great dress though! I wanted to keep it!

The dress was really light and comfortable. I am 5'9 and the dress was just long enough in flat sandals. Overall I thought it was a great dress and fit - doesn't photograph as well as other dresses, but definitely looks fantastic in person.

The fit was true-to-size, and the waist expands to fit the wearer's. The dress runs a little long, but there is no problem if you wear heels.

Im tall with a large chest, so i was surprised i could fit in this, it was pretty tight on the chest, but i squeezed into it. I wore flats and it barely skimmed the ground :)

Could not get enough of this dress! Perfect for wandering the streets of Dubrovnik. Loved the back details. The fabric does not breathe well, so be aware if it's a hot day!

This dress was my first choice, and after reading the reviews I knew I'd need the long length if I wanted to wear heels. I ordered the 2L and received the 2R. The regular was too short even with flats. I called RTR to request my original 2L and was told that it was unavailable. I ordered five additional dresses (and two additional that RTR chose for me - customer service was fantastic) and not one worked for various reasons. The day before the wedding, the 2L showed up unexpectedly and the fit was perfect. I did feel that the dress was missing something and kept trying to accessorize with different jewelry. Finally, I reached for a belt in my closet and that did the trick (see photo). Received so may compliments it became a bit embarrassing! Paired with long gold floral earrings and strappy leather sandals that matched the belt. Did I mention extremely comfortable? Fully lined and very forgiving. Felt fabulous in this dress!

I'm 5'10"/34-28-35 and was going to an evening, outdoor wedding in Southern California. I wore flat sandals with the dress & it was the perfect length. I am a 34A/B and wore it with a NuBra as well, per the suggestions of RTR (I was skeptical at first but the thing was fantastic. Well done, NuBra). The V neckline came down lower than I had expected it to, but again, since I'm flat chested, it wasn't inappropriate, just saw more sternum than usual. The leg slit came up to my knee. In hindsight, the elasticized waist was so stretchy I almost wish I'd gotten the 4L instead of the 6. The dress had a very slight pull on the bum and a very small stain on the front, but you couldn't tell unless you were looking for imperfections. Pretty much the best "guest of a wedding" dress I've ever had.

They were out of the 10L which would have been absolutely perfect. The 8L was definitely tight around my hips but i made it work and it was very sexy and pretty comfortable. I did not have a problem with the "extra fabric" over the bust area; it fit me very well on top and showed an appropriate amount of cleavage . It's not very long unfortunately; just hit the top of my feet and I'm about 5'9.5'', but I wore flats so it was okay. Would've looked goofy if I wore heels. Very beautiful dress and I'd definitely rent it again in the 10L.

here's what awkward: the top fits strange, it's like too much loose material that doesn't make sense. and the waistline doesnt have any give and there is no zipper to get in and out of it so pulling it over your head makes for a tight shimmy into the dress. and the background color is more of a muted creme/taupe and not white. BUT that being said it's cute once you have it on and since the weather is still cold i'll pair a jean jacket with it and it works great for what i want it for!

It was a casual outdoor wedding on a hot day. This dress was perfect for that!

Pros: gorgeous blue colors, looks expensive, hides a little tummy, hangs easy-breezy & lightweight, sexy slit, the perfect balance of formal and informal - could dress it up either way. Cons: was between sizes 10R&12R, smaller in the top portion pushed breasts down a little (I'm a 36C), looks better in person than in photos, and all versions I ordered came extremely wrinkled due to fabric.

This dress was perfect for an outdoor, summer wedding. The material is light and flowy, and I found the style to be very flattering. The background is more light gray in person than it looks online, which was lovely with the bright blue pattern. I rented both a 6L and an 8L -- the 6 ended up being a little too tight in the hips (which may just be attributed to a slight weight gain on my part) -- I'm so glad I got the long instead of the regular; I wore it with 3 inch wedges (I'm 5'9"), and the length was perfect. I read a lot of reviews from people saying they couldn't wear a bra with it because the back was too low, but I wore the dress with a regular strapless bra and it didn't show at all.

Rented this for a nice dinner with the hubby. Though it is more fitted and a bit tricky to get on, it fit nicely on my 22 week baby bump. The regular length worked well for me in flats and I'm 5'3". My only complaint is that it seems the the top layer may have shrunk a bit leaving the lining a bit too long, especially in the front of the dress. This was touch to remedy and so I had to just keep trying to tuck it up. Worth noting - current pregnancy weight is about 150 and bust size is increased to 38C for those looking for comparable measurements.

I found this dress to fit a bit strangely - I tried the 6R and the 8L and both had pretty big issues. This is not a dress where you can squeak by with the regular. If you are on the taller side, definitely get the long. The regular hit me mid-calf and looked quite awkward. The 8L was the right length, but the top was extremely baggy and I needed to pin it in a few places to make it sit somewhat normally. It was not the fit experience I was hoping for and looked a bit awkward overall!

At the last minute the dress I wanted was not fit for shipping, so RTR sent this in its place. This dress was so short! At 5'5" I've never had a maxi barely hit the ground without shoes on. The fit was all over the place too- too loose up top, especially the buttons behind the neck (it just hung down my back), then a bit tight through the hips/legs. Maybe this will work well for some girls, but it was way off the mark for my style, occasion, and body type!!

Relatively fitted skirt and semi-elastic waistband made me feel like I was in a jumpsuit all day! Pretty comfortable. I'm not used to revealing or high-maintenance tops (i.e. ones that need special bras or careful movements or constant checking) and this one pushed my comfort zone but it never betrayed me. Surprisingly secure up there! Skirt is lined with nude silky slip and is comfortable, but a bit restrictive and does not allow for long walking strides or being in a hurry. The back is very unique! If you like your back, you'll like this back! But I wasn't a big fan of the background color on the dress; I would have preferred a color much closer to white rather than nude.

Fit true to size, and runs long- I had the 4R and didn't wear heels, so the length was perfect. Very, very comfortable. Wore a Nubra with it, since the back is a little open.

This is a slip on dress, no buttons or zippers, and the fabric is not stretchy, so it was very hard getting it over by bust, but I managed. Probably best for someone without any womanly curves. Depending on the cut I usually wear 10 or 12. 12 went over the bust easily, but was loose and floppy everywhere else.

The draping of this dress is beautiful and the fabric is so pretty. It was long though. The fit guide said I should get a 4 long based on being 5'8". In 4.5" heels it still skimmed the ground. So if you don't want to wear massive heels go with a regular. Otherwise ran true to size. Need either a low back bra or no bra.

Beautiful dress but the top was huge. It looks like a nice clean halter in the photo but has this extra piece of fabric that sorta hangs down. I was a little bummed when I tried it on. Maybe if I size down I'd like it more.

I ordered both the 10L and the 12R (since there is no 12L). I am 5'9" and definitely needed the L. Both dresses were brand new with the tags still on, and the fabric was very light and airy. Unfortunately, there is a weird flap of fabric that drapes from the bust down to the waist that just wasn't flattering on my curvy, busty figure.

Could go dressy or casual depending on how you style it. It was very comfortable and had a flattering cut.

This dress was really wonderful, despite the fact that it arrived damaged. I was traveling overseas before I realized the damage in the dress (they can't send back-up dresses overseas just FYI - I didn't anticipate this being a problem, but probably should have checked the dress more thoroughly before flying out). In any event, the dress itself breathes very well and is perfect for a warm summer evening. I wore this to a semi formal restaurant and then at a rooftop bar and it was quite appropriate for both. I wish the slit up the side had been a bit longer - the length is slightly awkward (that - and the damage - are literally my only complaints).

I cannot tell you enough great things about this dress. I usually have a tough time with dresses in general that have specific waist lines because I have the worlds longest torso. But this dress hung and fit perfectly! The material is so soft and worked great with wedges I was wearing. And I'm pretty tall at 5'7. Can't wait for an excuse to rent this one again.

I rented this dress for my baby shower. I am 9 months pregnant and this dress fit me perfectly! granted it was super tight on my belly but it fit well everywhere else. I'm 5'7 so I was assuming that with my giant belly taking up so much fabric the dress would be too short but it still touched the floor. The slit up the side is very modest and wasn't too revealing for a pregnant lady. I'm small chested and could see this this dress being an issue for anyone with a large bust. I'm typically a size 6-8 in maternity (8 is for length) I wore the size 10L and it fit better than most maternity dresses fit.
