I wore this for my step-daughter's wedding and it was perfect. I usually a 12 or 14 in dresses and this one had enough give that the 12 fit perfectly. It was elegant and easy to move around in. I received a ton of compliments too!

I rented this at the last minute for the AHA heart ball. I just wanted something pretty and flattering on my curves. This did the trick! I fit in all the right places. It seemed like it was a tad short but other then that I loved it. Only funny side was that my friends date was wearing the same dress in navy blue.

I bought this, so was able to have it hemmed and altered a little. It would have been way too long if I hadn't. Between the purchase and the event, I lost about 10 pounds, so I probably could have worn a size smaller, but the 4R was just fine. I love the lace, so I opted not to wear a necklace in order to emphasize the dress details. Everyone loved this dress - I got so many compliments, but directly and indirectly (people mentioned the dress to my husband). It felt very elegant and I look forward to wearing it again.

The smaller size fit me perfectly. Length was perfect. Nice light, stretchy fabric that looks very delicate but is not. Note : You will need a helper to button the back. Also the photos online don't do the color justice- it's a very rich purple color.

Everyone on here said the dress ran small. I'm typically a 6 so I put in an order for an 8 and 10. Especially after comparing my weight with everyone else's I figured the larger options would be safe. Last minute I changed the sizes to a 6 (my typical dress size) and an 8. I'm SO glad I did. The 6 fit perfect. 8 was too big. I posted a side and front picture so hopefully this helps you ladies out when comparing. The dress is lace so it is a bit stretchy. I also ordered a long because u heard the dress runs short which is true. I'm 5'5 and wore 3 inch heels and it just touched the floor. LOVED this dress. If you are looking for classy... This is one to order!

This wasn't my planned dress, but it worked out better than I could have hoped. It fit perfectly and was incredibly comfortable. The length was a bit long, but it seemed to fit the style of the dress. Very elegant.

This dress was absolutely perfect. I wore it to a military formal dinner and received so many compliments. It was very comfortable,light, and easy to move around in. The dress is stretchy fabric and very flattering. I am 5'5 and with my heels it felt a little shorter than I would normally like. I would recommend shorter heels.

The dress did run a bit large -- I'm normally a 2R, so I'm glad I opted for the OR as my backup size because I wore that instead. I also found that the dress wasn't as long as I thought it would be -- I'm not particularly tall (5'5"), but wore short heels and that was plenty. Could have even worn flats with it.

Before renting, I read the reviews and several people said to go a size down due to the lose straps. I listed and got a 4 instead of a 6 and a 4L instead of a 4R. The dress fit perfectly, I looked absolutely stunning, and the compliments just kept rolling in. RENT. THIS. DRESS.!!

I have a really hard time gauging my size for clothes and initially ordered the 8 as a backup to the 10. However, the 8 was a wonderful fit; the fabric is really soft and stretchy so I felt really comfortable in the gown all night long at my boyfriend's senior formal. I felt really beautiful in the dress and appreciated everyone's compliments, and it was kind of exciting to be the only girl in this elegant look. I don't like wearing particularly high heels, so it was a perfect length for me, but if you're more into higher heels, you may want to think about ordering an 8L instead if you're around my height. I'm sad I have to return this dress-- it's so beautiful I'd love to wear it more often!

This dress fit me perfectly. I am a little busty and it fit nicely on the top without it being too revealing. It was very long. I am 5' 11, and I still needed 3 inch heals to keep it from dragging too much. I would rent this dress again! I loved it.

I was unsure about renting a dress but this one knocked it out of the ballpark! It fit wonderfully and I was very pleased with the dress. My husband even said to me "This dress fits you better than any dress you have ever worn to a ball"....and we've been married 13 years so there have been a lot of dresses!

Fit was great! I normally wear a 4 and I got a 4 and a 2 but wore the 2. The only thing was, I'm 5'4" and had to wear mid-height heels because with taller heels, it was shorter than I liked. I guess I'm right on that cusp between Regular and Long.

I should have worn the 10R or 10L as the back was a tad large; however, dress fit like a glove everywhere else. It was absolutely perfect for my event!

The dress was so amazing. I wore it to a gala and got complements all night. I usually wear a size 2 and noticed the sizing in the description said it runs small. The other reviews led me to order a size smaller though, and I'm really glad I did. A 0 fit perfectly. At 5'2" a regular was a little long though. I had to get some ridiculously high heals, but it was totally worth it. I was so happy with this dress and the necklace as well. I will absolutely use Rent to Runway agin the next time I have a formal event.

This dress is gorgeous, lace throughout, so very soft and comfortable. It's very tight fitting all the way through, showing off curves. I got so many compliments on it, especially the color which is a deep plum. Perfect for a formal or blacktie event.

This dress fit perfectly from head to toe. It was incredibly soft and comfortable for a white tie event that included dancing, dinner, and more dancing. The length was perfect with 2" heels. Probably would have been fine w/ 3" as well. It has stretch to it so go with your regular size and one smaller to try.

I'm normally a size 4, I've never fit into a size 2 in my life until this dress. Definitely runs big! The fabric is stretchy and oh-so comfortable. I got so many compliments. The beautiful lacy straps were also a little big (I'm a 34B), but it was manageable. If totally rent this dress again in a heart beat.

This picture does not do the detail of the dress justice. I ordered this dress before any reviews came out and was nervous about the fit. I am smaller on top and have big hips usually a size 12, but ordered a 10L and 12L. Ended up wearing the 10L with 2.5 inch heels because the lace on the back was way too loose. Did hug my curves but the bottom of the dress is very stretchy and wore spanks to smooth out the hips and stomach after two kiddos, able to wear a strapless bra as well. Received endless compliments all night. Rent this dress, you will not be disappointed!!! Saw lots of other girls in RTR dresses.

I wore this to a formal benefit gala. I had originally tried on a 10, but found it to be a little loose, so my stylist gave me an 8 as well. It fit perfectly! I'm a busty girl so this was perfect for me (with or without a bra!). It was so comfortable and I got lots of compliments. I highly recommend this for girls with curves, it shows off everything very nicely.

The dress fit fantastic and was very comfortable because the fabric had a little stretch. Could have worn either size I rented because of the stretch so I picked my usual size because the lace laid better on my shoulders and back. Loved the top lace on the dress and I got lots of compliments!

Rented this for a chilly November wedding... Everyone was complimenting me on the dress! It is a beautiful dark purple, and made me feel super skinny! I ordered the 6L and I had to wear heels and it was still pretty long, but I would rather it be too long than too short. The material is so stretchy so the dress is actually really comfortable- I didn't want to take it off!

Stretchy fabric, flattering style, the back is beautiful. The bust was not as flattering as I thought it would be. I received a lot of compliments and questions where I got the dress. Someone asked me if it was a bridesmaid dress!

Loved the dress. It fit great and I received a lot of compliments. The only downside is the straps are elastic and the weight of the dress on the hanger stretched them out so the lace on the back was loose. I had to use safety pins in order to make it look right. I wish I had another formal event coming up so I could wear this dress again.

Beautiful dress, love the color and fit. I wore it to see the Nutcracker and had lots of heads turning. I normally wear a size 4R or 6R but ended up with a 2R. My only complaint is that the lace back didn't lay well on my shoulders and back it hung loose.

The dress is beautiful, the deep purple color is gorgeous, and the fabric has some stretch in it so it's great for dancing and it won't be restricting if you have to eat anything. The neckline is a bit low, but easily solvable with some double-sided tape. The hem is a little long as well- I am 5'4" and was wearing heels and still had to hold up the hem when walking. But overall, very happy with it, got a lot of compliments throughout the night!

The regular length was good for my height, I am 5'5 and was probably 5'7-5'8 in my heels... Just the very tip of my stilettos were showing.

I have rented this gown twice because it is so beautiful, classy & comfortable! I wore it once for a charity gala & again a second time for my husband's formal holiday party, and received so many compliments each time. The deep purple color is unique and the stretchy lace fabric is comfortable and not restrictive at all! At 5'9", the long length is definitely better. My husband commented on how classy this dress is, and the back detail is a very nice touch.
